I have been to plenty of hotels in Stevens point. By far the top one. Gave a four because pool was cold although fun and the bed that I slept on was broken it caved in on one side. Breakfast was great. Staff was great as well!

If you are looking for a room near to all that Steven’s Point has to offer, this is it. If you need help from the friendly front desk staff, it’s here. If you’re looking for a room with a quiet HVAC system that allows you to sleep well, here you are. But, if you’re looking for a free breakfast down in the lobby and coffee or hot water available for tea or hot chocolate anytime, you will not find that here. For breakfast, skip the attached Amber Grille restaurant; after walking way down a long hallway, you’ll find the breakfast buffet is expensive and barely hot enough to enjoy. The other offerings were quite pricey as well. Go to the Legacy restaurant down the road…you’ll be pleased.

Although my mom and I experienced no significant issues during our stay at Holiday Inn Convention Center in Stevens Point, we were a little surprised at the minimalism of housekeeping. They'd take used towels and replace with clean ones, but our beds were never "freshened up", like fluffing up the used pillows, tucking in of sheets, etc. We didn't expect a full laundering of bedding like in the old days, but we were a little surprised at the lack of basic bedding maintenance. Overall, though, this is a fantastic property with courteous staff and an outstanding adjoining restaurant - Amber Grill. You won't be disappointed with this gem of a hotel in the Stevens Point area!
