Room was clean, decor was simple and on theme, bed and pillows were good, but not great. Wood for the fire pits didn’t seem to burn well. We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was tasty and filling! Overall, a good stay.

The place has a special ambiance, the cabin names are perfect for people with kids. It’s important to remember that these are like little cabins and not the type of room you might expect from the big hotel chains. Their price is very competitive for what you get. Unfortunately we had to leave before the restaurant opened in the morning. So I can’t comment on the food that was offered. If I’m ever in the Alpena area again I will try to book with them first.

Place was super cute and fun. Loved the area down by the water. Good at the restaurant was amazing!!! Staff was all so friendly and helpful
