What I didn't like was the Ice machine on the 2nd floor was broke and the staff knew it. The guest had to go on the 3rd or 4th floor to get ice instead of the hotel getting ice machine fix.

The property was up to my expectations. Pros: There is plenty of parking. Staff very tentative. Cons: The pool was closed for maintenance. Breakfast ended early , 6 - 9am/10am Would recommend and visit again.

Well there was hair in the sink, toilet and tv stand. Then the next day the towels had hair on it. Then one of the hand towels and hair tangled up on it this was the third day. Then there was dogs barking between 3 and 4 o’clock in the morning which woke me up out my sleep. Then the day I was leaving the fire alarm went off after 7 in the morning and then again after 9:30. I know check out time was at 11am but that was annoying and no one apologized for what happened. First time there but that experience will not have me back. Staff was excellent.

Our stay was horrible. Smelly room, damp, broken bath fixtures, ice machines non-opertative, and just a poorly maintained room/property. This is one hotel that we couldn't wait to exit from. The location was great in proximity to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment, but that's all. The staff was friendly, professional, and cordial. This property's lack of any kind of upgrades/ repairs/ remodel needs to be addressed by the owners. I was so disappointed in our accommodations.

I thought it was a great hotel. The people who serve you are friendly but their problem lies very seriously in the rooms. They are not clean. They smell very bad of a lot of dust. The carpets are torn and very dirty. The rooms are not clean as they should. They have excess dust and the bed linen was dirty. I am very sorry for this because the hotel is wonderful but they must improve the cleanliness of the rooms.

The room was very musty. We kept the bathroom fan on to help with the musty smell. The surfaces could of been cleaned a little better and the carpet could've been vacuumed better. But overall it was still a good place stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was a little outdated and could benefit from some upgrades.

I feel violated after paying to stay in such a filthy hotel. I have stayed at this exact location several times though the past 10 years. We expected things to be outdated and settled with this location to keep our young children away from broadway at the beach chaos. I’m shocked that this place is legally able to stay in business as I feel it is a health hazard. I booked through a third party agency so I could not get a refund. The filth was over the top. Old guy in my sheets. Hair in the bed. What appeared to be mold behind the mattress on the corner of the room. Missing molding. The carpet was black looking and the entire place smelled like a wet dog. I didn’t even bother to take a shower. The hotel was loud. I could hear people flushing their toilets. I wanted my money back so badly as I could have had a better experience at a motel 6 for half the price that I paid for an overpriced filthy hotel. The issue was not anything other than filth. You can have a hotel that is needing to be updated and still maintain cleanliness.

As a Marriott property, it was outdated. When we stepped off of the elevator on the 3rd floor, the ice machine had some pretty nasty ceiling tiles above it. We had a King bed and my side of the bed on the window side had a noticeable dip in it and I could feel the springs through the mattress. It included HBO and Netflix but it kept saying it was not available due to the internet connection.

Assigned room was pretty terrible. Largest part of room was the hallway to get to the bed area. Bathroom is tiny; door has about 1.5 inch clearance around toilet and swings into tub. Sink is in hall so area inside 'bathroom' is about 4x6 with a low ceiling and a super bright white light that illuminates the floor that has not been cleaned in a while. Seal on window is broken and has salt and dirt between panes so bad it is opaque. Maybe this is a feature so I don't have to see the parking lot? Duvee should be inside a washable cover, instead it is between two sheets. I asked for a room at the end of the hall away from the elevator and was given one next to the elevator with the noisy ice machine also outside the door. Possible worst check-in experience ever with person demanding my phone number and arguing (stopped check-in and stared at me) when I declined to give it. I did have a reasonable rate, probably because it was a Sunday. I noticed rates were 2-3X for Friday or Saturday and I would have been livid if that applied to me.

When me and my wife arrived, debris all over the floors, showing it had not been cleaned.. Two of the front desk clerks had bad attitudes when I brought it to their attention, and uncaringly said someone would get to it shortly.. Then the other front desk clerk, Wanda, volunteered to go clean it, and did a great job.. I am appreciative of Wanda, and also appreciative of the breakfast preparer.. She was very attentive and enjoyable.

There was nothing I liked about the property and my experience with the night employee Jesse was beyond worst nightmare. He was rude and unprofessional. Jesse seen that I paid with a different employee named Karen and then he said that I didn’t pay gave me the run around told me he couldn’t help meI mean it just was a lot. Especially for me to drive 10 hours with my children. The room was dirty the water ran from the toilet all night. And Inwas told the hotel was ocean front and come to find out it was no where near the ocean I was told the hotel had a kitchen in the room it didn’t so it was false advertisement as well and I would definitely like to receive my money back.

We had a great stay at the Fairfield Inn! All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made a big difference. The facility was clean, comfortable, and just what we needed. We were very satisfied with our experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Looking forward to staying again!

Fairfield Inn was a convenient location for attending the annual SCASA conference located 3 miles away. It was quiet and, traveling alone, I felt safe arriving in the evenings. The breakfast was awesome and the staff is very friendly. Easy parking right at the entrance and it is located right on hwy 17 in Myrtle Beach.

Jerome and the other lady at the deck (I'm sorry I forgot you're name hun) we're so wonderful. They were both very kind and accommodating. The breakfast this morning was one of the best INCLUDED BREAKFASTS that we've had at a hotel. We travel several times a month and this place was great.... What I like was the location, it's a quick walk to tons of shopping, food and movies. The hotel was relatively clean. The room was without counter space in the bathroom to place toiletries The Breakfast was a 2 star. The food seemed old (bread was like stones) . Only offered eggs, pork, and carbs, they they ran out of all flavors of hot tea. The hosts spoke extremely loud, interrupted all other chatter.
