Seashells Yallingup

I like presentation, cleanliness, everything in the apartment. My only problem was no pool.

Warm welcome at reception and room was very comfortable. Shame it had no pool but otherwise beautiful gardens and leisurely walk to beach

Wonderful balcony views of the beautiful gardens. Pathways through to the beach. Right next door to Caves House. Excellent location for exploring the Margaret River region.

Beautiful property, rooms were amazing with everything you need. Nice balcony, we had breakfast on the balcony listening to parrots, best way to wake up.

It was a nice stay.... Everything you need was in the apartment. Parking was great. Nice walk to beach. Would stay again. :)

This was a very restful and self contained location. The bakery is a must, the walks to the beach, and just sitting on the patio was lovely.

We always find Seashells a fabulous place to stay. The apartment and grounds are great because we have dining options with Caves house nearby and the kitchen facilities. Also it’s an easy walk to the Yallingup beach. We were also appreciative of an early check in as we were finishing a 5 day stay through Caves house apartments and starting a 2 day stay with Seashells. As they had a vacancy from the day before we transferred our belongings before midday to the nest apartment.

Love the location and outlook. Lovely grounds at Caves house. Being next to Caves House is great for evening meals. The overall cleanliness was good. Would be nice to have towels changed every two days and also shower curtain was very discoloured at base. Preferred having movies to choose from. Not having access to staff on a Saturday afternoon and until 9.00 am in morning was a negative.

Good room in lovely grounds conveniently located

A great location and the room was neat and tidy with lots of amenities. I didn’t like the lack of communication when I organised for a rollout bed in the room. I rang Seashells 3 times during the week before and on the day I was going to ensure I had the bed and they failed to inform me there was extra costs for the rollout bed. The rollout bed was very uncomfortable and not worth $40 a night Seashells charged me. Extremely disappointing knowing how much I paid for the 2 night stay. The accommodation was advertised for up to 3 people.

An absolute Gem of a Hotel, quiet location, central, to all the places we went to visit, Hamelin Bay was furthest to see the Rays and Skate. The Cave House next door was excellent for a cold beer after a Day out and NOT noisy at night. Coffee and nice pastries available at the General Store over the road for Breakfast Rooms were immaculate and every need had been though of. Will definitely stay there again next trio to Australia to see my Daughter

Very clean and a great location.

I loved our stay and was so impressed with the size of the room, the comfy bed, the awesome facilities in the room, the balcony, all of it! Will definitely be back again. However, unfortunately I do feel I need to mention a couple of disappointing factors which I only mention on here so attention is brought to it & dealt with. We couldn’t sleep on the king bed’s pillows because they smelt really badly of sweaty, dirty heads ! The pillow slips were clean but when I took them off to try and work out what was smelling so bad, the pillow protectors underneath were literally stained yellow and in shocking need of a wash (or throwing out). Whilst the bed sheets were schmicko clean and fresh, the doona in between them was yuk! Tatty, worn, dirty and musty - needs to be thrown out and replaced, was quite shocked to think a quality resort would use this on their beds. Finally, my son was so excited there was a Nescafé Mini coffee maker as he loves making me pod-coffee, but when he took it apart we got a nasty surprise. It had not been cleaned or even rinsed for possibly weeks as there was mouldy coffee still in the drip tray. We soaked it but it was really hard to get clean. Grossed out, we soon gave up. Loved having he excellent quality washing machine & dryer at my disposal but I had to change the filter first as it was full. As I have room attended in busy resorts myself, I’m guessing this is an issue of management not allowing enough time for housekeeping to be more thorough.

I went to the reception straight away after seeing the room and was told she didnt actually work there and was just covering, but that she would contact the manager and call me with a response and get a cleaner. But that never happened and havent heard back from the property. The bathroom towels were very cheap and poor quality, not a nice luxury. Bed was hard and sheets average. Definitely not worth a 4-5 star hotel price point, but definitely could be if owners invested in good cleaners and amenities.

The room was standard, but the bathtub where the shower is located was quite high and not easy to climb in and out of. The tub itself is deep, which is a nice feature, but it had stains that couldn’t be removed, which affected the overall cleanliness. I’ve stayed in their apartments before and had a fantastic experience, but unfortunately, this particular room didn’t meet the same standard.

Beautiful 2-bedroom apartment with huge patio on park setting. Nice restaurant conveniently located next door. Didn't have maid service during our stay which was disappointing.

Very comfortable accommodation would have been happy to stay longer than the 3 nights I was there. Loved the spa bath at the end of a busy day sightseeing. Being adjacent to the Cave Hotel is an added benefit lovely grounds and great food and can walk through to get to the beach. Great base for the Margaret River region.

The room was lovely, the view beautiful, and the bed nice and comfortable. The spa bath was nice and unexpected. The only complaint I have is reception closes very early - 4pm. We got our keys just fine, but that's weirdly early for reception to close.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment which was spacious. But access was via a staircase so it wasn’t convenient when we had suitcases and bags to carry. The Yallingup beach is about 1km walking distance through the hotel garden. Dunsborough Town is the closest town which is about 7 minutes away. Toiletries and other consumables were more than sufficiently provided.

The room was lovely, the view beautiful, and the bed nice and comfortable. The spa bath was nice and unexpected. The only complaint I have is reception closes very early - 4pm. We got our keys just fine, but that's weirdly early for reception to close.

Appartamentino completissimo, se avessimo deciso di rimanere in stanza a rilassarci non sarebbe mancato nulla. La struttura è in posizione eccellente per visitare tutta la zona di Bunbury e di Margaret River, fino a capo Leeuwin. La notte l'area è silenziosissima e dalla spiaggia la vista del cielo è da brividi.
