Econo Lodge Texarkana I-30

Very basic no thrills, minor damage to my car in the parking lot because of huge dip near lobby. Overall fine.

After I checked in, I changed in my pajama's to relax. I noticed a little later that there was no hair dryer in my room. I went to call the front desk & the room phone didn't work, so I used my cell phone. I was told they don't supply them in the room but I could come to the front desk to get one. I asked if they could bring me one & was told no. I rechecked their hotel on the internet & it lists a hair dryer as a room ammenity. I had to redress & go out in the cold to get the hair dryer. I showed the front desk guy their internet site. He claimed it was not their site. So, I go back to my room & went to bed. While I was in the shower at 8:00 am, someone was banging on my door. The door was locked, along with the latch-type lock AND I had put a chair in front of the door for safety reasons. I got out of the shower, peeked around the bathroom door to see what the banging on the door was about & the cleaning person had tried to get in. I guess they realized someone was still in the room & closed the door. REALLY? Doesn't the front desk tell them when people check out?! I complained at the front desk when I checked out & all they had, was excuses after excuses. I WILL NOT BE STAYING THERE AGAIN! And, I do NOT recommend it to anyone! I guess you get what you pay for! I tried to add a pic of the ammenities to this review to prove my point but it won't let me...figures!

We liked having a mini fridge and microwave. We enjoyed our stay.

I stay here quite often so I know what to expect. It's ok. A place to sleep and shower. The plumbing is a bit outdated and noisy. Security is awesome. Cameras everywhere. Lots of food selections nearby

Our room had used soaps, almost empty. The ice/water machine had black specs. Outside of the hotels control was another guest outside on her phone yelling for about 2.5 hours in the morning, several employees saw/heard her and no one told her anything about her screaming and cussing. Also did not like the bathroom light switch on the outside of the bathroom.

Couldn't change the channel w/ remote in room. Stay was on bottom floor, it was loud with cars and people. I had to sleep w/ TV on to drown out the outside noise. The room was clean. One ice machine near office outside w/ one vending machine. Walmart is across the street so thats a bonus! Overall 4 stars!

The pictures are not what you get. We were given a non smoking room in the back, where theres NO PARKING near the rooms. You have to park in front and walk back and forth with your things. No carts to use. Its more of a alley way. Not very safe feeling for a woman. Vending machine broke. No free breakfast. Our room smelled of smoke the entire time and it is very very outdated and smells. Owners were very rude, front desk area is pretty much closed off to public with no AC in there. And they charge a $50 hold on a card. We most definitely dont recommend this place not even for the price. Only positive was the beds were comfortable. Thats it.

When checking in I felt uneasy. Checking in at a window gave me an uneasy feeling. In the end it was fine, however I felt on edge through the night.

I have a disability and I thought we would be able to get on the front side easier to get in and out of and wouldn't have to have so far to walk but, he gave us our room on the back side so that means we had to walk halfway around the building just to unload the car. The beds were very comfortable to sleep in and the room had cold air conditioning!

The room isn’t bad for the price but could use some TLC and some deep cleaning.

its in a good location.. many food options around the waffle house down the road is amazing!!! now the hotel is fine if its just one night stay.. we stayed a few days and it was terrible the beds didnt seem to be thoroughly clean there were holes in the sheets and the bathroom is too small cant do a full turn in the shower most uncomfortable place ive ever stayed. also theres a 100$ deposit thats not listed our total ended up being near 300$ not reasonable in the slightest for the experience of this stay.

Our room was #202. It had burn holes in the sheets and the covers were very worn and need to be replaced. There were BUGS that i started killing when we first arrived and continued to kill the whole time we were there. My husband opened on e of the drawers and there was a cockroach running around in it. The floor looked like a none professional did them. The tub held water and when you flushed the toilet water would drip from the flush handle. STAY AWAY!!! The only reason we stayed the one night (we were supposed to stay 2) was because of the bad weather and we were 5 hours from home. Sorry but i am telling the truth.

The room was very clean and comfortable. This was a 1 night stay andvour last stop during a cross country road trip. Would definitely return and recommend.

The room was dirty. The floors needed a mopping as walking without shoes made your feet black. The exhaust fan in the bathroom had so much built up dust on it that it sounded like an airplane anytime you had to turn the light on. The ad said the beds are queen size, they definitely are not. The door closed and locked but had a huge gap to where you could still see outside. The first room had bloody hand prints on the bed spread so they changed the room. The next room the bedspread was covered in cigarette burn holes.

Bathroom was discusting i refused to take a shower. There where splater marks on the bathroom walls the shower curtain smelled like piss. No plug to geven try to give my kids a bath if it was clean. Looked like someone pubic hair all over the tub. More then nasty. I only stayed due to i drove over 13hours to get to town and didnt want to fight with it.

Property and room were in good shape,however in my room 202 ,to the rear I hear persistent heavy knocking from the right rear exterior of the room.

Bath tub old although they tried to improve it. Didn’t like that the light inside the toilet area was for the outside vanity area also.

Comfortable room and bed. Hot water and good water pressure.

I liked the way the room was remodel. I wasn't crazy about the deposit for the room.

My room was not cleaned the entire week that I was there. They brought clean towels & emptied the trash cans once. They didn't actually clean the room or make the bed. My shower didn't work despite me asking to have it repaired or transfer to another room. I was working 12 hrs a day at the local paper mill & had to take baths. I'm a traveling field tech, I've worked in every state & many countries....... this is the first review that I've ever written, that's how bad it was.

Front desk staff was rude.

It is off the main drag. The clerk is very rude and pretty much doesn't listen to anything. The sign says no pets and he walks the parking lot with theirs. When you tell him this is first time for a deposit request he states all of the hotels have one. Ive been to several through booking apps and not one has charged a deposit. And he persisted and said i didn't know what i was talking about.

My room was clean and ADA compliant. Staff was friendly. Would recommend.
