Bathtub wouldnt drain. Shower was broken.restaurant wasnt open. Pool wasnt open, one elevator worked, Wasnt clean, massage chairs broken, icky stuff in the elevator, no housekeeping for 4 days, says bar but wasnt one. Basically its trash. The water pressure was a trickle, we paid for a great stay. Nope.

Floors were dirty and sticky. the Hot tub was out of order. Only one elevator working. Breakfast biscuits were extremely dry and hard. The plastic knives could not begin to cut them

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed it, super gross and very dirty inside the hotel room. Shower had black mold, the curtains had red stains, there were stains on the walls. Fitness center closed and when I told staff they opened the door, went inside and none of the machines worked except 1. They told me that’s why they keep it closed.

The hot tub is not working and the heater in the pool is not working. The breakfast needs to add a meat selection no meat is offered at breakfast. The hotel is kept very clean the rooms are nice. Staff was friendly and helpful.

There was construction around the only entrance to hotel we drove around for 30 mins trying to find an entrance finally i saw a pick up truck edging his way out of construction entrance so i thought i would try and get thru it also which i did slowly. When we finally got to the lobby i told the girl that we had a hard time getting in. It was very hot in the lobby and no air in elevator and we where on the 5th floor . I told them when i checked out that they need to at least put somekind of sign up to help people get in here. The lady told me that wasn't their property and i understand that but i told her they could of leadt put sone kind up somewhere out there. Breakfast was another story. The meat taste like rubber and i don't know what the gravy was, no orange juice no salt just pepper. I couldn't eat any of it so i finally made me a waffle. I understand the breakfast was simple but at least make it so normal people can eat it. Our room was nice and the beds where comfort. I know now when i travel that way i will not be staying there again

The hot tub was halfway filled and the water looked disgusting! Only one light worked in the pool area, leaving it very dark. There were not pool towels. The buttons on the elevator were broken. They charged me an extra fee and did not refund it like Expedia told me they would.

Not up to Wyndham standards. Looked Run down from the pull in.. Elevator falling apart. Holes in walls. Hot tub broken, main door not marked... Entrance didnt look like a main entrance. Alll little things.

The overall stay and experience was a 7/10 especially for character. The hot tub was dirty and didnt look like it had been used in a while. My boyfriend and I were disappointed about that. The pool looked nice. The room was clean and had a working microwave and fridge and comfortable furniture. What made the experience interesting was the fact that only one elevator was working and some of the buttons were popping out and it would skip floors other than the one you needed sometimes. The floor in the elevator was cracked the some of the paneling was leaning forward. Other than that the hotel was decent for our brief stay in Texarkana.

Nasty pool, 95 degrees in pool room. Lobby and halls, 90 degrees with no a/c. My room after 3 hours was about 90 degrees. Only 1 of 2 elevators was partially working. Asked for refund got screamed at by Stephanie the manager over the phone.

The window in our room was just a sheet of plexiglass and not very secure. No hot water, walls were dirty, chair in our room had no legs on it so it was sitting on the floor, ceiling had a crack in it, black mold in the tub and sink. That is just some of the issues.

The pictures of the hotel make it seem so much nicer than it actually is. I first noticed a slight smell. No big deal. One elevator is broken and the other one is janky. Okay, cool. The room wasn’t the best but it wasn’t the worst at first, so I thought, I’ll just deal with it. Got up to go to the bathroom and noticed a small roach. And then another one. And then another one. And another one. Not only was I deceived by the pictures on the website of the hotel, there were also roaches. I did “check in” at 3:00. I dropped our stuff off and left. Didn’t come back until 9:30ish. The kids swam until 10. We went to the room and crawled into bed about 11. I got up to use the bathroom about 1ish and that’s when I noticed them. I grabbed my kids and left. The front desk would not offer me a refund since I “had been there 10 hours and didn’t notice anything” and “because I contacted hotels.com first before I contacted them at the front desk”. They offered to move me rooms, but my skin was already crawling by that point.

Rooms were dirty - wet towels on the floor and rags in the shower. Floors in the hallways were not vacuumed. Cigarette butts thrown on the floor of the elevator. Lobby was updated and clean. Staff was helpful and nice but unkept amenities were widespread.

Our room was disgusting. The carpet was sticky, everything felt wet, it smelled like mold, every surface had crumbs/dust/old food from previous guests. The bathroom reeked, the shower corners were moldy, the tub was covered in grime and had a ring around the inside. The walls had food splatter, food, mystery brown stuff dripping down the walls. We felt so uncomfortable in this room and felt like we couldn’t touch anything without contracting some disease. This was not anywhere close to being worth the $100+ we paid for it. Very disappointed in our stay.

By far the most disgusting dirty hotel I have ever experienced. Roaches (multiple) crawling on the food in the dining room, dirty room, with sticky carpet, hair in the bathroom, and a strong perfume/chemical smell that was definatly there to cover up something gross... and this was the replacement room after the first one we were given had trash all over, and the beds were stripped as if they'd been in the middle of cleaning and forgot to finish. Oh... and the air-conditioning was out on a 92 degree day. I would not go back there ever. I'm still hoping I didn't bring home bed bugs.

The room was large, bed comfortable. The toilet seat was NOT attached to the toilet. The entry and bathroom floors were slippery after walking on the carpeted area. Overall it was acceptable but could have been better.

This hotel is so far below Marriott standards it should be stripped of it affiliation. Its in disrepair outside, inside and in rooms. 1 elevator has button panel broken out. Mirrors broken and left behind dirty items. Filthy rooms and inside hotel.

Pros:The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. Customer service was very good and a credit to the hotel. It seemed to be in a state of renovation. Cons: A lot of light around hotel room doors, unexpected connecting door, suspicious bathroom mirrors, lack of soundproofing, and towels need to be upgraded. Only 1 elevator worked and within that elevator car, only 1 panel worked. I felt very uneasy with my first room in spite of its renovated state. The mirror seemed to be a 2 way. I requested a different room and felt better however it had loud appliances, an old odor/curtains and no soundproofing. Hallway activity kept me up most of the night as truckers rested and left. This place has potential with its staff, cleanliness and location. I missed breakfast due to an early check-out. If appliances, and linens are replaced more frequently and the renovations/upgrades are completed quickly, and more lights added in the front parking lot I wouldn't mind staying again. As it is now...no.

The location of the hotel was good, easy to get on and off the highway to access it. Hotel backed up to a residential neighborhood, so the view from the windows were residents backyards. Hotel was outdated, with one working elevator, and left a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness. The bathtub had black rings, the sofa chair in the room had green dried something on the seat, and there was an empty mini liquor bottle behind the entertainment center from who knows how long ago. Tv did not work, had to call maintenance in to fix it. All the doors are extremely heavy and slam when people come and go from their rooms. Literally sounded like a gun shot the first time I heard it and jumped. This happened all night as people were coming and going. Breakfast was standard continental breakfast with a waffle maker. Pool was clean, but hot tub was not working. Spent two nights here to visit family, and will not return.
The location of the hotel was good, easy to get on and off the highway to access it. Hotel backed up to a residential neighborhood, so the view from the windows were residents backyards. Hotel was outdated, with one working elevator, and left a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness. The bathtub had black rings, the sofa chair in the room had green dried something on the seat, and there was an empty mini liquor bottle behind the entertainment center from who knows how long ago. Tv did not work, had to call maintenance in to fix it. All the doors are extremely heavy and slam when people come and go from their rooms. Literally sounded like a gun shot the first time I heard it and jumped. This happened all night as people were coming and going. Breakfast was standard continental breakfast with a waffle maker. Pool was clean, but hot tub was not working. Spent two nights here to visit family, and will not return.

The room size was great. Not very attractive at all. Messy paint spots on doors ect. The AC unit was so dirty! We could not get AC to shut off at all so we literally froze all night! The hallway was so loud with people and slamming doors , we were woken up twice during the night.

I called and let the night person know I was still traveling and would be there after midnight. He said he couldn’t guarantee my room. When I got there he had put me down as a ‘no show’ and cancelled my reservation. Expedia should get rid of this hotel from their site.

Run!!!! Do not stay here. There are sketchy people that hang out behind the hotel at night. When I checked in I was charged the reservation amount at check in. My card was charged an additional amount which happens to be there standard rate for two nights. When I called about the additional charges I was advised that I was charged due to damages in the room. They said there were empty bottles and broken glass that was left in the room. This was a blatant lie. The only drinks I took into the room was a Sonic cup which I threw in the trash and a plastic bottle of Diet Coke which I took upon leaving. They supposedly have videos and pictures from housekeeping that I am still waiting for them to send me. Please avoid these fraudsters at all costs and save yourself the headache.

Recorded "welcome" message kept blaring the whole time I was at front desk. Employees English & professionalism not good. Once in our room housekeeper opened our door without knocking. Didn't know we were there. Only one elevator in service.

You, like me, might be on a roadtrip and book this hotel because you trust the Wyndham name. Don’t do it We waited over an hour to check in. At first, I Blamed the angry customer—but the clerk had an issue with every booking. There was a line of over seven people, all angry, other workers literally came and watched, but did not help. When we finally got a room, it smelled like an old bar. I tool pictures—every corner was gross, dirty, and/or crumbling. The pool area looked like the before shot of a pool makeover. It's a good thing I got all my shots before staying here. First, the property is in serious disrepair. Several of the side doors are not only not locked, they don't even close all the way. The back door was tied together with a plastic bag. So that's a big security concern. There's light damage bascially everywhere in the hotel: scuffed mouldiing, broken elevator lights, dents in the walls, cracks in the tile. The carpet in my room was sticky. The bedroom smelled slightly of pee, the bathroom a little like vomit. The window A/C unit got cold, but damp air came out. There's a wall HVAC control that's completely broken and makes me think that at one time it had central heating and air. I missed the breakfast, but judging from everything else I probably just missed a bowl of stale cereal with a human hair in it. The one good thing I have to say is that the young man working the front desk is friendly and professional. Then again, he's the only employee I ever saw. If he was running a six story hotel by himself, that might explain everything.

I drove up to this hotel and it was very rundown. Bad area. The parking lot was a mess. Curtains in windows were askew. Even though the room was non refundable, I left and did not stay. I drove a bit longer and stayed in a different hotel in the next major city on my route.

There was construction around the only entrance to hotel we drove around for 30 mins trying to find an entrance finally i saw a pick up truck edging his way out of construction entrance so i thought i would try and get thru it also which i did slowly. When we finally got to the lobby i told the girl that we had a hard time getting in. It was very hot in the lobby and no air in elevator and we where on the 5th floor . I told them when i checked out that they need to at least put somekind of sign up to help people get in here. The lady told me that wasn't their property and i understand that but i told her they could of leadt put sone kind up somewhere out there. Breakfast was another story. The meat taste like rubber and i don't know what the gravy was, no orange juice no salt just pepper. I couldn't eat any of it so i finally made me a waffle. I understand the breakfast was simple but at least make it so normal people can eat it. Our room was nice and the beds where comfort. I know now when i travel that way i will not be staying there again

This is more of what I would call a budget hotel. The building is old but has been remodeled. It was once a very nice hotel. The breakfast was definitely less than expected but the staff was very friendly and helpful. It is quiet and far enough away from the interstate that traffic noise is no issue.

The air on certain floors did not work. The elevators worked some times, but the majority of times it did not. The bathroom smells like wet nasty water, the rooms were okay. For two nights it was okay, but not a long stay. Breakfast was literally boiled eggs and apples, we left and went out to eat. The lady at the front desk was so sweet and amazing!

The room was good. No complaints. However, the building seemed to be in mild disrepair. My in romm phone did not work. The displays for the elevators didnt work either. The continental breakfast was sad. There were waffles, but no eggs or sausage. The container for the biscuit was broke and feel into the gravy. No juice dispenser, just a quart sized jug in a mini fridge. I would stay again, but i'd forgo the breakfast

We only stayed one night after driving all day. The room was clean and the check in was quick. The only issue we had was that our TV did not work so it was uncomfortable having the hotel employee coming in and out of room troubleshooting the TV while we were tired and just wanting to unwind and relax while watching TV. We ended up switching to another room with a working TV.

The room did not feel clean. There was no shower curtain. The TV did not work. The room would not cool. There was a random bar stool just inside the door of the room. There were no pillows in the room. There were stains on the sheets. A lot of people just hanging around inside. Ac didn’t cool properly . We got there early from a cow show being in the heat all day to turn the ac on early bc it was going to be a late night . All we wanted was a cold shower and bed Trash can had batteries left in there . No shower curtain The room didn’t get cool when we got there at 10:30pm I had to go down twice . 1 for a shower curtain and then ask for another room .
