Only good thing was bed was comfortable. Room decor straight out of the 60’s, showing all the signs of needing an update. Room was on ground floor with parking right at door but room didn’t even have a security chain on entry door. Had a pool but not an umbrella or tree to give you some shade. On exit from parking lot you had to maneuver through a very large sink hole. When we had an inquiry had to travel a few blocks away to the TravelLodge as no one in the office. Would not recommend.

The property is in good average shape. The owner is a wonderful host and very acomadating when greeting you. The pool is clean and well kept. Parking is adequate and if your needs in parking both a vehicle and boat or trailer there is additional parking to use.

Floor in my room is kinda sticky, i dont know why. Room is a bit old everything is a bit rusty. Staffs are friendly. When i stayed in the hotel, there is a construction nearby so it is quite noisy during the day. I could not swim because pool is maintained also

Arrived at hotel and check-in went smooth. Got to the room and tv cable was not working when we came back from dinner. Contacted front desk next day, the front desk person attempted to fix but could not. Went the entire stay with no cable. They didn’t bother to do room service. There was always group of people outside smoking and talking loudly. The pool was still open mid October but was an eyesore as it was as green as your Christmas tree.

The staff were very helpful. It is an older facility but clean and a comfortable bed. Didn’t use the pool but it was sparkling. The location has restaurants nearby for breakfast/lunch . Parking was available but the overflow area was not well lit at night. The adjacent lot is for sale but currently overgrown and not appealing to the eye.

After reading the reviews of the GuestLodge, I thought it would at least be clean. When I got to the room there was a red solo cup with water still in it on the dresser which grossed me out. The carpet was a bit damp and the hairdryer didn’t work. There wasn’t enough parking so I had to park behind the restaurant next door. In the end, I guess you really do get what you pay for.

I don't know why this property is rated so high. It was ordinary at best. 23 or 24 parking spots for 35 rooms. 4 or 5 of those are for compact cars only. The carpet was FILTHY. I put on brand new, never worn white socks and walked across the room twice and they were already getting black. Any socks that I wore in the toom for an evening were completely black on the bottom, by the end of the evening. The trim, paint and walls were basically lipstick on a pig. There were parts of the concrete block wall that were still visible. Painted but very obviously block walls. The trim around doors and windows was not really trim at all. It was rough cut and painted (not sanded smooth and had no shaped or rounded edges--just plain wood) that was crudely bordering the doors and windows. The shower head was from the 70's or 80's or something. The door banged agajnst the dresser if you weren't careful because the dresser was to close to the door, allowing the door to hit it before the door was open all the way. It was an ok room that looked ok at first but the longer you were there you hegan to realize just how cheap and dirty it was.

Lobby smelled like weed all the time. The microwave was filthy. There were cobwebs around the AC unit. The baseboards were dirty. The toilet tank was loose and so was the seat. The AC fan smelled like urine and left a horrible smell in the unit.

The bed was comfortable. It’s was quiet despite the traffic on Main Street. We found some long black hair in the sheets and on towels. The wall, mirror and carpet could be cleaner. Food was left in the fridge from precedents guests it was disgusting so we didn’t use the fridge. The price was cheap but it wasn’t a reason to have a room not spotless.

The room was very dirty. There appeared to be blood on the wall near the bed. The fan in the bathroom appears to have. It been cleaned ever-was black. I couldn’t sleep both nights because of a stinch in the room and left early.

I simply needed for an overnight stay and had a choice of cheap, expensive or medium. This property was medium $100 but did not live up the photos and description on the website. The room was old, and tired. There were flys in the bedroom and the bathroom was very basic. Check-in ok, check-out no one there. Parking was safe. The other guests were very loud in the night, the walls are paper thin. The location for all things Cape Cod is good. For what I got, the property is overpriced.

The room had a mini fridge, but no microwave/ coffeemaker. There was a microwave and coffee available in the office. It opened at 8 am and closed in the evenings. The room was decorated with older furniture, the rug and the shower curtain had stains on it. They were generous with towels, toiletries, and cleaned the room one while I was there. I was woken up due to the noise from a nearby room.

Will start with the good review: the bed was very comfortable, room was clean. Parking was not good. Could not park in front of room. Very tight parking in front of building. Asked cleaning staff on second day for some toilet paper and she did not understand English. Went to office and no one was there. Went to CVS and bought some toilet paper. Had Do Not Disturb sign outside of door while we went out for breakfast. Came back and beds were made and room was cleaned. Was not happy that they came into our room when the Do Not Disturb sign was on the door, told gentleman in office when leaving and he apologized. He was very nice.

Who knows. They bumped us to a companion motel, not a favorite. Claimed first floor rooms not available despite request. As it was off season, they apparently close to close one complex and put clients in another.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The check in was so easy and the staff was friendly. The grounds and the rooms were very clean. It's a little on the older side, but we were very comfortable and I found it to be a great value!

The staff was extremely helpful. We were first booked at GuestLodge, but realized it would be hard for my elderly mother to get to the second floor, which is the only room they had. They allowed us to take the last ground floor room at Travelodge, their sister site down the street. We greatly appreciated the accommodations.

Found the Guestlodge through Expedia to escape heat wave in Boston. What a wonderful surprise I discovered in the cleanliness,quiet, desirable location and economic rate of this hidden gem. Within 3 minutes of some of the best beaches on the Cape in South Dennis. Fantastic restaurant /bar right across street with a deck with inlet views. Definitely coming back for another stay in the Autumn. Terrific staff, found left behind item and went out of their way to insure its quick return.

The staff were very helpful. It is an older facility but clean and a comfortable bed. Didn’t use the pool but it was sparkling. The location has restaurants nearby for breakfast/lunch . Parking was available but the overflow area was not well lit at night. The adjacent lot is for sale but currently overgrown and not appealing to the eye.

It’s a no frills hotel and perfect for the price and a few nights stay. They advertise they have a restaurant on hotels.com which is not the case. They guy who checked us in was great.

The rooms could use an update. The rugs, curtains and furniture are old, and the plumbing fixtures could use a replace. The rooms were very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The location was excellent for us and there were many restaurant choices nearby.

The room we got a kitchen was available. While the room in its self was ok the kitchen was not what I expected. There weren't any plates or enough silverware. Thank goodness I brought paper plates. It also didn't have enough items to prepare food. There wasn't enough countertop to prepare food. The bed was to soft for us but it was ok. I would give this place an overall rating of a 4 out of 10. The price for the stay was good. They just need to update a little.

Front desk staff was awesome!! I had driven all night, luckily was able to early check in. The room itself was ok, the bed was very uncomfortable, Carpet looked dirty in some spots, shower curtain definitely needs to be updated (rust along bottom). TV instructions didn’t work, had to go to the desk to find out how to use the tv. If u stay here, try each HDMI setting. Parking lot small and narrow. The AC worked great!! Would recommend getting microwaves in the rooms. The area is close to the beach, shops and restaurants!!
