Great place to stay when you have an early flight at Stansted. Room was stylish, clean and had a very comfy bed. The rainfall shower was perfect at waking you up. Parking was £15 for the night but compared with the cost of a holiday and the convenience of a 5min drive to stansted I think it was a good price.

Easy to find. Always places to park but that’s an additional £10. Hotel staff are welcoming and efficient. Hotel and rooms are really clean. Only eaten in the bar area but the menu is good for a bar menu and food is good quality. Breakfast is a buffet but with good quality ingredients and there is a good choice for everyone. Also has a well equipped gym. Have stayed here about 5 times now and can’t fault it.

I would like to thank the receptionist in the morning and evening and the restaurant manager for their friendly service and respect for customers. I will visit them again in the future. Close to the airport and there is a bus service for a small fee.

100% as expected and advertised. Rooms were great. Staff was friendly. Note that transfers to airport are not complimentary - at time of this review, we paid GBP4 each way, and it took 10 to 15 min to reach the airport.

Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff, great food. Clean room. Except….. The shower has fuzzy mould and black mould growing in the shower by the sealant, in between the tiles and on the ceiling. Made sure to not accidentally touch the walls.

Apparently this hotel tells its guests at check in that if you want your room cleaned you need to tell reception. I’m made to believe they do this at check in ( that was not the case) So you can imagine my horror and disgust when I walked into my room at the end of back to back meetings to find the room unclean.When I rang reception- no one answered the phone and when I went down to reception- 2 members of staff chatting away. When I asked about my room - I was told YOU didn’t tell us to clean it- then said - I will call the manager. He went and I was left waiting for over 20mins. Manager eventually came and as a her way of dealing with this issue offered my partner and I drinks. Problem solved!! Beds are comfortable, carpets due a change, rooms not cleaned well, bins rusty, Not great

We stayed on the 14/06 as we had an early flight the next day . Impressed car park availability and with reception and lobby area on arrival. The room however had scuff marks and stains on the walls ,dirty shower grouting ,a dirty toilet and dust on lampshades and aircon grill. Reception staff ( Eleanor ) was very apologetic and moved us to a cleaner room but still dusty . Pillows were lumpy too so not a great sleep . If the cleaning is improved I would have given this 4-5 stars ad the staff attending showed great customer service.

Ticks the box for a one night stay before an early morning flight. Although you can definitely hear the planes throughout the night and morning so not the quietest. Shuttle comes every 30 mins to and from the terminal and costs £4 which I personally think should be included with the room cost. Otherwise clean and comfortable

This hotel is in desperate need of a refresh. The overall appearance is quite tired, it could really benefit from a fresh coat of paint and a thorough deep clean. The beds were extremely soft, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep, and the lack of soundproofing meant we were frequently disturbed by other guests coming and going. As well as the noise of the planes! If you're simply looking for somewhere close by and aren't too concerned about comfort or quality of sleep, this place might suit your needs. Otherwise, you may want to consider other options.

Tired Novotel at Stansted airport - access was okay, we arrived at 11.30 pm, tired and ready to hit the bed only the guy on reception kept us there for ages, despite us saying how tired we were and that we'd already paid!! Had to fork out an extra £15 for one night of parking - ridiculous. Our twin room was a bit tight on space although the shower was a decent size. Windows were nailed shut so no fresh air available. Noisy with the airplanes taking off the next morning, seemed to be no attempt to soundproof this airport hotel. Breakfast was decent, no porridge for my gluten free veggie friend, but she was okay with fruit and yoghurt. Highlight was the hashbrowns... All in all, wouldn't choose it again, would opt for somewhere else on our long trip north.

Eggs ordered were done to perfection Room was clean - bed was really comfortable Only down mark was shower pressure which was poor.- but usable. Mr Bernadetta at the reception was not friendly or helpful. Had poor communication skills and not well suited for this role. Asked us to google for parking space if we could not find a space at the hotel- this was almost at midnight when we were checking in. Only had a short stay but it was great. I checked in late at night after a concert in London, and was leaving early in the morning to fly home. The room lovely, spacious and clean. The member of staff who checked me in was very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. The shuttle service to and from the airport was extremely convenient. Would definitely stay again!

Good breakfast but dinner menu was very limited. Had the pork chops on my second night can’t think of anything more tasteless. On the second day I requested housekeeping, came back from work and rubbish from the previous day had been left exactly where I put it I.e used glass wipes on the table and empty coke bottle on the floor! Bed was shabbily made up - poor.

The hotel was convenient for our meeds. It is clean and attractive, the room had everything you could need. The staff were friendly and efficent. The breakfast was the only let down very poor for the price, the hot food was cold and english breakfast tea is terrible.

The hotel and everything about it is great, but the food was absolutely terrible. I spent about a 100 quid on food and it wasn’t well spent at all. The cake was stale and it smelled horrible. Had to throw half the food away.

The room was very clean and well furnished, with useful amenities including an iron and ironing board, as well as a safe. Any issues I raised or repairs were also dealt with quickly. The main downside is the lack of air conditioning, despite it being advertised. This makes the room not as comfortable during hot summer weather. Given the fairly premium price charged (due the convenient airport location), I would have expected proper A/C. Overall, a clean and well-equipped hotel with responsive service, but the lack of air conditioning is a significant drawback in summer.

A perfect stay. Close to the airport so really convenient in the morning. Car park busy but managed to find a space within a minute. The bar was lovely, a lovely busy vibe. The lady that checked us in was absolutely lovely.

I have been staying at this hotel now for the past two years or so and it is stunning. The rooms are spotless with large wide screen tv’s. The only negative is the price of food and drink in the bar and restaurant. I paid £11 for a glass of wine there though staff are attentative. The cost for a room for the night if booked online is under £100 which is good value. I will be staying here again no doubt at all.

Fantastic breakfast and helpful and friendly staff. The room was very clean, however a little small for myself and two children once the double sofa bed was out. The air con in the rooms was a HUGE let down as it was very stuffy and did not get cold/cool especially with the 30 degree heat outside which made it really hard for the kids to sleep. I also felt the parking was very expensive for our 3 night stay!
