Nice and relaxing stay in the Splendido Bay. Breakfast was delightful, Spa treatments were fabulous although indoor pool and spa area was closed for renovations, room and hotel was lovely and clean although completely overpriced, Pool and lake access was lovely. Reception staff not of a 5* standard. Not very helpful at all. Lunch was very poor and staff were quite pushy.

We had a truly memorable stay at this charming lakeside hotel, where the direct access to the water added a serene and picturesque touch to the experience. The lake views were simply breathtaking, creating an atmosphere of peace and beauty throughout the property. The staff stood out for their attentiveness and warmth, consistently making us feel welcome and cared for. Every request was met with prompt and courteous service. Breakfast offered everything you could want to start the day off right, including freshly cooked eggs and omelettes made to order—always a nice touch. The hotel’s restaurants were a highlight, with gourmet dishes presented artfully and tasting just as amazing as they looked. The only downside was the air conditioning in the bedroom, which struggled to cool effectively and made falling asleep a bit difficult during warmer nights. With such high standards elsewhere, we hope this gets resolved soon. The pool area was spotless, with fresh towels always available and plenty of staff to ensure everything ran smoothly. The pool bar was another delightful feature, offering great service and a wide selection of drinks that kept us refreshed all afternoon. Overall, a fantastic stay with just a small caveat. We'd happily return, and maybe pack a mini fan just in case

Ottimo hotel che non abbiamo però potuto sfruttare pienamente visto il cattivo tempo e il breve tempo. La nostra camera classic era piuttosto piccola e un po' rumorosa visto la vicinanza alla strada. L'unica pecca di nota è non aver potuto usufruire della piscina interna in quanto il PH non era giusto. Sarebbe stato opportuno avvertire in tempo in quanto era per noi molto importante.

The hotel is right on the lake and don’t feel busy. Always able to get a sun lounger and the staff are very friendly and helpful. You really need a car though as there is nothing really within walking distance.

This is a lovely hotel located on the edge of the lake. Ideal stay for a few days, slightly remote so would recommend a car if staying more than 2. Staff were excellent and one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had in a while! Spa is amazing and very relaxing - well worth booking a slot to use this We had an issue or two with our room, but was instantly resolved Would recommend. Pricing is aligned to level of service and stay.

The staff was very attentive and friendly. At check in they insisted on taking our bags to our room and escorted us to go over the amenities and answer questions. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful. We particularly liked the pool and sculptures around the landscape.we also liked that they are right on the lake but separated from the public walk. Our favorite part of the experience was our waiter Michael. He made the experience very special. We liked everything so much that we returned 3 nights later on our way back to Milan. We had our best night there with Michael as our waiter again. We have shared the experience with our friends and family. We can’t say enough good things about our experience at the resort.

The hotel was clean, the room was great with a well stocked bar, and spacious bathroom with walk in shower. The spa services were good as was the service from the hotel staff. I loved the direct access to the stunning lake. Would love to go back.

The pool area was so unique. The pool was very small but the pool area was shaded (much needed as it was 90 degrees). It was more of a quiet hang out area. The staff went way out of their way to assist us with breakfast before an early train. The rooms were very clean and the shower, towels and bed were comfortable.

Bellissima struttura in un luogo incantevole. Abbiamo apprezzato molt la cortesia e la preparazione del personale, sia di hotel che di SPA. Ambienti molto puliti. Personalmente, ritengo la camera standard ed il bagno un po' piccoli, con pochi appoggi per i vari oggeti (valige, asciugamani, ecc)

Struttura molto bella, moderna e pulita. Camere suite spaziose e silenziose. Ottima colazione, sia dolce che salata, con grande varietà. Animali ammessi e coccolati, ma il supplemento di 40€ a notte per il cane (piccolo) mi è sembrato un po' eccessivo.

Ich muss sagen das ich enttäuscht war bei einem Hotel, das sich als Luxus Hotel bezeichnet. Ich hab ein Superior Zimmer gebucht, was im Bereich der Fenster voll war mit weißem und grünen Schimmel. Die Wände waren vollständig durchnässt. Solche Zimmer zu haben ist die eine Sache, aber tatsächlich dort Gäste quartieren zu wollen ist unverschämt und gesundheitsschädlich. Der Schimmel war so stark ausgeprägt, dass das Hotel sicher davon wusste. Positiv war, dass ich ohne große Probleme ein neues Zimmer bekommen habe. Für ein Luxus Hotel bin ich trotzdem etwas verwundert.

We were on our honeymoon and it wasn’t even acknowledged, they actually put us in a room above the kitchen and restaurant which was noisy up until midnight. There was no air conditioning and we couldn’t open the window because of all of the noise beneath us. We were treated completely differently to Chinese and German guests staying there and it was obvious they wouldn’t give us the time of day. They provided these other guests with nicer rooms and better service. I complained about the room and also that the restaurant offering room service being closed on our first night (after a 9hr drive!) we were told to eat I. Their expensive posh restaurant or go out and get pizza!

the hotel had a superb location on the lake and food at the hotel was very good, albeit expensive. Its not 5*though, rooms are clean and comfortable but by their design are dark and no views from junior suites unless you step outside on to youterrace. Staff friendly and helpful and no problem finding a sunbed. There were around 5 restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, none of them special but food was okay and prices more in line with what you expect to pay on a lakeside location. The ferry terminal is a 5 minute walk away, but limited to go the Sirmione and Garda. Taxis can be hard to get, dont use Uber, they dont have a ful license to operate in Italy apparently, but hotel concierge Marco was helpfuland managed to find taxis for us. Taxis can be hard to get, dont use Uber, they dont have a ful license to operate in Italy apparently, but hotel concierge Marco was helpfuland managed to find taxis for us. All in all we had a great time in Garda and the hotel, for us, was nice and peaceful.

Sehr schöne und gepflegte Anlage direkt am Gardasee. Dieses Mal hatten wir leider ein Zimmer zur Strasse hin. Mit offenem Fenster schlafen ist in diesen Zimmern nich mr möglich. Das Hotel verfügt über mehrere qualitativ hochstehende Restaurants. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Nice and relaxing stay in the Splendido Bay. Breakfast was delightful, Spa treatments were fabulous although indoor pool and spa area was closed for renovations, room and hotel was lovely and clean although completely overpriced, Pool and lake access was lovely. Reception staff not of a 5* standard. Not very helpful at all. Lunch was very poor and staff were quite pushy.

We were on our honeymoon and it wasn’t even acknowledged, they actually put us in a room above the kitchen and restaurant which was noisy up until midnight. There was no air conditioning and we couldn’t open the window because of all of the noise beneath us. We were treated completely differently to Chinese and German guests staying there and it was obvious they wouldn’t give us the time of day. They provided these other guests with nicer rooms and better service. I complained about the room and also that the restaurant offering room service being closed on our first night (after a 9hr drive!) we were told to eat I. Their expensive posh restaurant or go out and get pizza!

Staff were excellent and one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had in a while! The staff was very attentive and friendly. At check in they insisted on taking our bags to our room and escorted us to go over the amenities and answer questions. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful. We particularly liked the pool and sculptures around the landscape.we also liked that they are right on the lake but separated from the public walk. Our favorite part of the experience was our waiter Michael. He made the experience very special. We liked everything so much that we returned 3 nights later on our way back to Milan. We had our best night there with Michael as our waiter again. We have shared the experience with our friends and family. We can’t say enough good things about our experience at the resort.

The pool area was so unique. The pool was very small but the pool area was shaded (much needed as it was 90 degrees). It was more of a quiet hang out area. The staff went way out of their way to assist us with breakfast before an early train. The rooms were very clean and the shower, towels and bed were comfortable.

We had a truly memorable stay at this charming lakeside hotel, where the direct access to the water added a serene and picturesque touch to the experience. The lake views were simply breathtaking, creating an atmosphere of peace and beauty throughout the property. The staff stood out for their attentiveness and warmth, consistently making us feel welcome and cared for. Every request was met with prompt and courteous service. Breakfast offered everything you could want to start the day off right, including freshly cooked eggs and omelettes made to order—always a nice touch. The hotel’s restaurants were a highlight, with gourmet dishes presented artfully and tasting just as amazing as they looked. The only downside was the air conditioning in the bedroom, which struggled to cool effectively and made falling asleep a bit difficult during warmer nights. We had a wonderful stay at Splendido Bay. While everything was great, the highlight was definitely our meals at Il Rivale. We also had lovely walks from the hotel into town. It might be a bit far for some (2.6 miles) but it was a beautiful way to get our daily exercise in. We'll definitely go back!

We loved our stay at Splendido Bay, the location on the lake is beautiful. We enjoyed some fabulous meals, the food in Ravale and Aqua Riva very good, we did feel service could be improved in both these restaurants, a bit more attention to detail was all that was required, for example, the filling of wine glasses and descriptions of food on serving. Drinks at the bar a high point, served by the fabulous Danilo, an asset to the resort. Rooms very comfortable and keep to a great standard. Would definitely return.
