Staybridge Suites Detroit-Utica by IHG

No me gusto que pague para tener dos cuartos uno de una cama King y otro de dos camas que en y solo me dieron de dos camas una cama king y otra queen.

I stayed a week due at the Staybridge due to a surgical procedure. The hotel can use some updating, but overall, not a bad place. The location feels secluded; however, it is very convenient to so many restaurants, grocery stores and shopping. Everything I need was convenient. The bed was very comfortable. I liked that there was a full-size refrigerator and microwave in the room. I did not use the stove, but one was available. It was stocked with all the dishes and utensils that I need. Unfortunately, the ice maker did not work and there are no ice machines. The TV does not have access to streaming, so I went to Best-Buy, which was a mile away and spent $29 on a Roku stick. The best purchase ever!! There are washers and dryers on the 1st floor if needed. The staff was very nice and I would consider staying here again.

Cold showers, place had sweaty smell to it. Not worth the money.

We weren't able to eat while we were there due to our activities. We didn't have any extra toilet paper in our rooms, we had to ask for a hair dryer, and both sets of bathroom doors were really warped and needed a paint refresh. There was a slight odor in the hallways as well. Staff was extremely friendly though

The staff was great, and the breakfast was convenient. The rooms need some serious attention. The paint is bubbling or cracking, the shower curtain is coming out of the wall, the trim is coming off of the walls in the doorways, etc. I could go on for a while, but I’m not going to. Bottom line is updating and renovations need to happen. It doesn’t have to be super fancy but feeling like you’re in a clean place when you’re not at home goes a long way.
