This resort was all that it said it was. The facility itself was beautiful, the location was great for a relaxed vacation. The all inclusive “Platinum “ package is the best option with the two vip lounges and infinity pool . We would highly recommend Playa La Arena to everyone that asks for a great vacation spot!!!

The staff, hotel and facilities were terrific. We had a great holiday with tasty and varied food, including vegetarian. The pools were heated and everything was clean and fresh. The staff were personable and always went out of their way to help us with specific requests.

The overall experience is good. The food is diversified but not really tasty. It can be low quality some days. You do not have access everywhere in the hotel unless you are Platimium. If you are not too picky with the food, you can have a great stay !

I've been in lots of all inclusive hotels and resorts in Turkey, Mexico, Domenican Republic, .... This one was the worse exprience ever. -All inclusive is a joke for this hotel. they only serve food and snack till 9:30 P.M and there is no room service. -food is poor in quality and variaty. -Poor amenities. -Poor entertainment. -As an all incluse customer you need to pay extra for every simple things like cabanas, lots of beverages (Alcoholic ones) even for coffee if you order at hello bar and if you order a simple cocktale you would get sugary syrop and ice. -They have 2 small pools and they ask you deposit for pool towels. -No Hot tub for you, just if you pay extra as a platinum member. No toiletery in bathroom. there is just one low quality shampoo. Don't even expect hair conditionnar. And, don't let them to fool you that you are treated better if you pay more for delux rooms. Beach access is closed. The only Pro was the cleanliness if you don't consider insects in your room and somewhat worn out sheets and towls.

Muy buenas Instalaciones exteriores, muy buen acceso a playa. Los espectáculos son muy buenos y el personal del hotel muy atentos y serviciales. Una Hran opción para disfrutar Tenerife y un muy buen hotel.

It is not comprehenisble how an hotel of this range could charge extra for the use of the room safe. Also it would be good to be notified at check-in and indicated on the safe itself. Additionally found it strange that the room was not tied up daily.

J'ai aimé la taille spacieuse de la chambre avec sa douche et sa baignoire, l'espace autour de la piscine, bel hôtel. Concernant la restauration on aurait préféré la qualité à la quantité. Je n'ai pas aimé la literie de la chambre, trop peu d animation si on veut se coucher tôt c'est bien, sinon c'est l ennuie assurée, le personnel n'est pas accueillant on a l impression de les ennuyer en cas de demande de notre part. Le nettoyage quotidien de la chambre est furtive, lit refait nettoyage de sol et changement de serviettes, pas plus, j'ai trouvé des faux cils collés dans la salle de bain dès notre arrivée ...bref c'est j'avais plus l'impression d'être dans un centre de vacances que dans un hôtel ..

I came for family vacation, 3 adults. Hotel is fabulous, very clean and personal is very polite and helpful. Very close to the beach, literally just cross the street and go 1 minute down. 3 pools also were with pleasant temperature and a lot of space around. Rooms are simple, a bit old but very clean. Also great ozean view. Cleaning was every day, and no one took the tips. Food was great, with a lot of choices. Different kind of fish and seafood - everything was fresh. Cocktails in the evening could be better. Also orange juice has nothing to do with oranges - very chemical. We went to merkandona to buy fresh. Animators team and shows were also good, I liked calm piano sessions and music in the outside area. In general - great vacation, amazing hotel.

Hôtel fantastique. Les personnels sont très sympas et accueillants. Une propriété irréprochable. Surtout les animations sont variés à la piscine et au bar/restaurant. Nous avons passé des soirées agréables en famille. Équipements bien entendus. Vous pouvez trouver facilement des places de stationnement juste en face de l'hôtel. Nous voudrions remercier les animateurs de l'hôtel qui travaillent durement tous les jours ( jour et nuit) pour nous apporter des bonnes humeurs. Merci beaucoup.

Das Hotel hat mittlerweile die besten Zeiten hinter sich. Die Zimmer sind soweit in Ordnung und nicht schrecklich aber mittlerweile ist hier Sanierungsstau. Die Duschtür ist mit einer Schraube befestigt und mir mehrfach entgegen gekommen. Das Mobiliar hat Gebrauchsspuren. Darüberhinaus sind beim Essen an zwei Tagen Mäuse über die Terrasse bzw. sogar über Tische gelaufen. Ansich ist das Hotel im Preis-Leistung soweit in Ordnung allerdings hat es die besten Tage hinter sich. Ebenso werden wir in vielen Hotels die eigenen Regeln nicht umgesetzt. Tanktop bei Männern beim Abendessen, Liegen reservieren etc. Da wir die meiste Zeit unterwegs waren, war das Hotel vollkommen ausreichend für uns und auch von der Lage perfekt. Reinen Badeurlaub halte ich aber auch für schwierig dort,

Ich war eine Woche mit meinem Partner Ende April / Anfang Mai in dem Hotel. Es hat uns super gefallen, die ganze Anlage war total sauber und auch das Zimmer war in einem Top Zustand. Das Essen war sehr vielseitig und es ist für jeden was dabei - alles hat auch super geschmeckt. Wir hatten ‚nur‘ das ‚normale‘ All inklusive (nicht das Platin) aber das war völlig ausreichend. Wir haben jederzeit alle Getränke bekommen die wir wollten. Die Pool-Area war auch total sauber und gepflegt. Obwohl das Hotel sehr viele Zimmer hat & auch gut besucht war, hat man nie was von anderen Gästen gehört wenn man auf dem Zimmer war. Alles in allem war es ein super Urlaub. Ich würde das Hotel jedem weiterempfehlen und komme auch gerne wieder :)

Das Essen war sehr vielseitig und es ist für jeden was dabei - alles hat auch super geschmeckt. Wir hatten ‚nur‘ das ‚normale‘ All inklusive (nicht das Platin) aber das war völlig ausreichend. Wir haben jederzeit alle Getränke bekommen die wir wollten. Die Pool-Area war auch total sauber und gepflegt. Obwohl das Hotel sehr viele Zimmer hat & auch gut besucht war, hat man nie was von anderen Gästen gehört wenn man auf dem Zimmer war. Alles in allem war es ein super Urlaub. Ich würde das Hotel jedem weiterempfehlen und komme auch gerne wieder :)

I came for family vacation, 3 adults. Hotel is fabulous, very clean and personal is very polite and helpful. Very close to the beach, literally just cross the street and go 1 minute down. 3 pools also were with pleasant temperature and a lot of space around. Rooms are simple, a bit old but very clean. Also great ozean view. Cleaning was every day, and no one took the tips. Food was great, with a lot of choices. Different kind of fish and seafood - everything was fresh. Cocktails in the evening could be better. Also orange juice has nothing to do with oranges - very chemical. We went to merkandona to buy fresh. Animators team and shows were also good, I liked calm piano sessions and music in the outside area. In general - great vacation, amazing hotel.

Lovely stay. Very clean hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food options were great, different options every day. Would perhaps consider removing the bath and having a larger shower area which would suit the lovely spacious rooms.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön! Die Betten sind aber sehr alt und unbequem. Man spürt jede Feder. Wir fragten nach einem Zimmerwechsel und bekamen Topper, was dann ok war. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, vor allem im Restaurant. Der schwarze Strand mit den Riesenwellen in der Nähe ist super. Das Essen ist für Alles-Esser sehr gut! Die häufigsten Allergene sind gekennzeichnet. Allerdings nicht beim Dessert. Da weiß man als Nuss-Allergiker nicht, was man essen kann und was nicht. Mit Milcheiweißallergie ebenso. Für Milcheiweißallergiker gibt es mehrere Sorten pflanzliche Milch beim Frühstück, aber wer will jeden Tag nur Müsli oder Brot mit Gemüse essen? Die Rühreier enthalten leider Milch. Hummus z. B. und andere pflanzliche Sachen wie Sojajoghurt oder Nüsse wären gut. Alles in allem, ist auch ein Veganer in der Gruppe gut gegessen. 👍

I was given a room on a side street that was noisy. There was no sun or view. I was told I'd only paid for standard room. There was nothing on the website to say that, this should be made clear on the website. I was not given an option to upgrade despite the hotel not being full. I had very noisy neighbours which was intimidating being on my own. Food was reasonable but tended to be overcooked.

Das Hotel ist super. Wir haben die Zeit hier sehr genossen. Hammer Lobby, man schön an den Pools entlang schlendern, wenn man zum grandiosen schwarzen Strand mit Mega-Wellen schlendert. Das Personal ist wirklich sehr freundlich, was für uns sehr wichtig ist. Das Essen ist hervorragend mit einer großen Auswahl. Auch für Vegetarier. Ich als Veganer habe mir auch immer was zusammenstellen können. Die Betten waren leider eine Katastrofe, so dass man die Federn spürt. Aber wir haben Topper bekommen, womit es dann ok war.

Die Duschtür ist mit einer Schraube befestigt und mir mehrfach entgegen gekommen. Das Mobiliar hat Gebrauchsspuren. Darüberhinaus sind beim Essen an zwei Tagen Mäuse über die Terrasse bzw. sogar über Tische gelaufen. Ansich ist das Hotel im Preis-Leistung soweit in Ordnung allerdings hat es die besten Tage hinter sich. Ebenso werden wir in vielen Hotels die eigenen Regeln nicht umgesetzt. Tanktop bei Männern beim Abendessen, Liegen reservieren etc. Da wir die meiste Zeit unterwegs waren, war das Hotel vollkommen ausreichend für uns und auch von der Lage perfekt. It is not comprehenisble how an hotel of this range could charge extra for the use of the room safe. Also it would be good to be notified at check-in and indicated on the safe itself. Additionally found it strange that the room was not tied up daily.

I really wanted to like this hotel. But when I had cash stolen out of my bag on hotel premises, the disappointing way they handled it was pathetic at best. -You have to pay for the use of a safe (what century are we in?) -When I asked about whether I could hold my luggage somewhere after checkout, the front desk person at the time sort of just shrugged over to the luggage room. She did not inform me there were lockers available. -The luggage holding area adjacent to the front desk is unsupervised, and the door unlocked, with anyone allowed to go in and out as they please without staff supervision. Very blasé. -I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt and assuming that the cash was taken out of the luggage room, but if it was stolen straight out of my actual room, that would be the biggest trust-breaker of all. In either case, this hotel has lost my faith and trust. It was my fault for not hiding the cash better and that I only noticed that it (and a Snorlax sticker I had, huhuhuhu) was gone when I had arrived at my next destination. When I called the hotel to inform them, all the person did was apologize profusely but said there was nothing they could do because I had already left the premises. That’s a bit of a sorry excuse, but OK. She didn’t give me any other options or suggestions, like filling out a police report. I didn’t ask what they would’ve done if I had still been onsite but I doubt it would’ve been anything useful.

The staff, hotel and facilities were terrific. We had a great holiday with tasty and varied food, including vegetarian. The pools were heated and everything was clean and fresh. The staff were personable and always went out of their way to help us with specific requests.

Vriendelijk personeel! Service is uitstekend. Als er iets dan komt het personeel op terug. Voorbeeld was dat kleding van onze dochter per ongeluk door de schoonmaker is meegenomen in de vuile was. Deze werd nadat we hadden aangegeven dat we deze misten, werd het ook meteen weer in onze kamer achtergelaten. Je verveelt je niet in het hotel, animatie voor jong en oud! Gevarieerd eten. Kortom, heel fijn hotel die wel meer dan 4 sterren waard is. De omgeving van het hotel valt niet veel te doen. Je loopt langs de kust, wel met mooie uitzichten op de oceaan!

For a hotel that has All Included, they definitely have a lot of food to serve, but they seem to have put the most amazing ingredients in the hands of the most inexperienced cooks. In other words, the food is plenty but uneatable.

The staff, hotel and facilities were terrific. We had a great holiday with tasty and varied food, including vegetarian. The pools were heated and everything was clean and fresh. The staff were personable and always went out of their way to help us with specific requests.

The overall experience is good. The food is diversified but not really tasty. It can be low quality some days. You do not have access everywhere in the hotel unless you are Platimium. If you are not too picky with the food, you can have a great stay !

Das Hotel ist sehr schön! Die Betten sind aber sehr alt und unbequem. Man spürt jede Feder. Wir fragten nach einem Zimmerwechsel und bekamen Topper, was dann ok war. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, vor allem im Restaurant. Der schwarze Strand mit den Riesenwellen in der Nähe ist super. Das Essen ist für Alles-Esser sehr gut! Die häufigsten Allergene sind gekennzeichnet. Allerdings nicht beim Dessert. Da weiß man als Nuss-Allergiker nicht, was man essen kann und was nicht. Mit Milcheiweißallergie ebenso. Für Milcheiweißallergiker gibt es mehrere Sorten pflanzliche Milch beim Frühstück, aber wer will jeden Tag nur Müsli oder Brot mit Gemüse essen? Die Rühreier enthalten leider Milch. Hummus z. B. und andere pflanzliche Sachen wie Sojajoghurt oder Nüsse wären gut. Alles in allem, ist auch ein Veganer in der Gruppe gut gegessen. 👍

This hotel had everything to be great, but there two big flaws: 1. While most staff was nice, there are a man in the reception that was rude and didn't seem to care about the guests. 2. For a hotel that has All Included, they definitely have a lot of food to serve, but they seem to have put the most amazing ingredients in the hands of the most inexperienced cooks. In other words, the food is plenty but uneatable.

Great hotel min general, awesome views, awesome Platinum pool area. F&B staff not great, lots of complaints from another guests as well. I heard one pretty bad fight with the manager as well. I only want to mention Claudio, he was very rude. I am running 9 restaurants back at home and the customer service here was poor to me.
