We stayed in a second floor cottage. It was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The location is perfect! Walking distance to Weirs Beach boardwalk. The pool is huge and clean too. And the service was great. The room is a bit dated and needs some small upgrades but overall it's great and I'd definitely stay here again.

Super comfy bed and quiet room. I don't think I have ever stayed in a hotel room with an AC unit that was as quiet as this one. We were looking for a place that was easy to access the Bank of NH Pavilion, and this was much better than expected. Nice view from the balcony right outside the room and a clean pool to boot!

My sister and I stayed in the small cottage. It was all we needed for space and we loved the porch with two rockers and a table. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. Parking was right outside the cottage and the pool is very clean, well mainainted and right in front. We were walking distance to the boardwalk, beach, stores and boat tours. There is coffee in the room but we found a great coffe shop called Fresh right on the boardwalk. The staff is attentive and pleasant. There is a small refrigerator in the room which was great to have. There is a huge ice maker on the premises as well. I would stay in the same, #3 cottage again. We had two bulbs out in the ceiling fan, light and they replaced them. We have no complaints.

Half moon is truly a hidden gem! Set back enough to enjoy the views of the lake but also close enough to all the action downtown. Great walking distance from endless food options, Entertainment, live bands, bars, restaurants, beach, arcade games, shopping. All the things you'd want on a perfect vacation. All the best things of weir's Beach wrapped up in a perfect resort. The staff is amazing, caring and they will go out of the way to make sure you have a perfect experience. They offer a private pool and on spot parking literally out side your door so there's not a single inconvenience. Most cabins have screened in decks perfect for chill nights watching over the boardwalk and perfect for watching fireworks with our having to pack and drive to them. The fun never ends at half moon. They make you feel like you've stepped back and can actually relax on vacation. We've stayed in the same cabin twice and it never disappoints. Everything you need at home is there, while still being able to enjoy views and fun! It's a dream come true!

Property and pool were kept up very well. Friendly staff. Only issue was doors slamming all hours of the night the first night...convenient location to pier and other attractions. Would stay here again.

This is an older motel, but it is super clean and has all the amenities. This is our third year and will keep coming back. The staff is very friendly, the pool was pristine and the grounds were well manicured. Walking distance to shops, resaurants, bars, live music, beach and the view is killer! High recommend!

We stayed here one night before heading up further in NH. Like most motels now-a-days, it could use a bit of updating, but it was very clean and well kept. You cant beat the view of the lake in the morning and the blackout shades were a huge help with that bright sunrise. Check in and out were easy and the front desk staff were very sweet

Place is in much need of an update in all areas. Window blinds broken, they do not cost that much given how much the cost is per night. Bathroom needs many upgrades. Hair on the floor that have not been cleaned from the previous guests. Spiders and spider web were present in the shower, which was rather unpleasant. I think that i would definitely love to come back, but choose another sleeping arrangements.

Hotel staff very friendly. Beautiful views. Older accommodations but clean. TV didn’t work but staff notified me of this on check-in, something that was just an issue that day. Bed very comfortable. Was quiet. Used just for an overnight but wish I would’ve had time to roam the area.

The property’s location is amazing. Pool area was fabulous. As for the rooms, I can only speak to cottage 16 and it was run down and smelled bad. Maybe the other cottages are more updated

The property was very clean. The front Dess ladies were very sweet. The rooms were so clean. The beds were outstandingly comfortable and clean. The rooms were very clean. I can't wait to go again in October as long as my health holds up.

Fabulous place to stay. The cottage was clean and adorable, the porch was fun with great evening lights, the pool was huge and clean, the staff was friendly, and perfect location for Weirs Beach activities.

The property was conveniently located to the Mount Washington dock. The Half Moon Motel is overall outdated compared to other motels. One thing we didn't like was the smell of bug spray when we walked in. The door to the upper porch needed to be opened to air the room out. The check in was pleasant as well as the owner, she also allowed us to keep our car on the property while we were on the Mother's Day Brunch on the Mt. Washington boat.

Perhaps the cottages were clean and updated, but the motel where we stayed was shabby, with pealing wood on the exterior door, a bath venting option which was a louvered window you had to climb on the counter to open, and stained carpet. However, the bedding and towels were excellent. The staff was very helpful as we arrived very late, but the directions were easy to follow and we had no problem checking in. If you're looking for a place to crash for the night, the price is right - just wear your shoes on the carpet areas and you'll feel comfortable.

My only complaint was it was a little pricy for the room/amenities. Could definitely use an upgrade. and people were somewhat loud until around 1 am on Saturday night/Sunday morning.

Fun place to stay at a reasonable price straight out of the 60s. But there have been upgrades, like the bathroom had a nice new tub with shower. Also the front porch was great to sit and look out over the lake. On the other hand it’s been years since I had to sleep in a double bed, not even a queen. Did not sleep that well. Party goers outside my door late into the night on the porch, but it’s Weirs Beach so I had to expect that. Good place for an overnight when you are going to a concert.

We were expecting a King bed and ended up with two doubles. Expedia's fault not the hotel. Beds were comfortable and room had a great view of the lake. Electrical outlets were mostly located in the kitchen. Not convenient for today's power needs.

Nice cozy hotel room with a balcony, comfy bed, and a gorgeous view of the lake! Room and amenities were a little outdated but that is what you get with lakeside/seasonal rentals. It was well worth the price and view. We will be keeping this place in mind for next time.

Very good and spacy room with great lake view. Fantastic. The owners are so kind. I booked the wrong dates and only realized on the day, they were kind enough to correct it and arrange a better room for me on those dates. Appreciate it.

There is a small refrigerator in the room which was great to have. There is a huge ice maker on the premises as well. I would stay in the same, #3 cottage again. We had two bulbs out in the ceiling fan, light and they replaced them. We have no complaints.

My sister and I stayed in the small cottage. It was all we needed for space and we loved the porch with two rockers and a table. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. Parking was right outside the cottage and the pool is very clean, well mainainted and right in front. We were walking distance to the boardwalk, beach, stores and boat tours. There is coffee in the room but we found a great coffe shop called Fresh right on the boardwalk. The staff is attentive and pleasant. This is an older motel, but it is super clean and has all the amenities. This is our third year and will keep coming back. The staff is very friendly, the pool was pristine and the grounds were well manicured. Walking distance to shops, resaurants, bars, live music, beach and the view is killer! High recommend!

Literally just a one minute walk to Weirs Beach, this is truly the perfect location. Plenty of restaurants in the area with a boardwalk featuring 2 different arcades. Rooms were clean. My only regret is that I couldn't have stayed longer. Definitely worth the money!

Super comfy bed and quiet room. I don't think I have ever stayed in a hotel room with an AC unit that was as quiet as this one. We were looking for a place that was easy to access the Bank of NH Pavilion, and this was much better than expected. Nice view from the balcony right outside the room and a clean pool to boot!

Our stay was fine, much to do around this area. Plenty of places to eat or visit. This hotel is walking distance to the beach and park areas. This property sits next to the lake which is an advantage because of the view. An old place, reminded me of grandma’s place. Easy parking.

Half moon is truly a hidden gem! Set back enough to enjoy the views of the lake but also close enough to all the action downtown. Great walking distance from endless food options, Entertainment, live bands, bars, restaurants, beach, arcade games, shopping. All the things you'd want on a perfect vacation. All the best things of weir's Beach wrapped up in a perfect resort. The staff is amazing, caring and they will go out of the way to make sure you have a perfect experience. They offer a private pool and on spot parking literally out side your door so there's not a single inconvenience. Most cabins have screened in decks perfect for chill nights watching over the boardwalk and perfect for watching fireworks with our having to pack and drive to them. The fun never ends at half moon. They make you feel like you've stepped back and can actually relax on vacation. We've stayed in the same cabin twice and it never disappoints. Everything you need at home is there, while still being able to enjoy views and fun! It's a dream come true!

For an older, dated property, the rooms were clean, the linens were new and clean the room met our needs. We had one of the cottages up on the hill that had the best view of the lake. I wish they didn’t allow smoking on the balconies cause it seemed like all of our neighbors smoked. The ladies in the office were really nice. We had plenty of parking for three cars. The large pool was clean and well kept. It was convenient and walking distance to plenty of bars, restaurants and shops.

A great place to stay with beautiful views of the lake. I would recommend asking about the air conditioning, it was a little warm in our room even with the AC on high. The doors also squeak really loud.
