What an absolutely fabulous property. We stayed in C9 which has 2bdrms, full kitchen and your own patio set with gas grill to cook on. The views of the lake are breathtaking. There is coffee & fresh muffins offered in the lobby every morning. Walking distance to the weirs beach strip and beach. Can’t say enough good things about Lakeview Inn & Cottages

Evidently I booked a room on the 3rd floor with a shared bathroom and no elevator... upon seeing the horror on my face the proprietor immediately moved us to a private cabin without a change in charges. She really made a great impression on us! The cabin was clean and lovely. We had a small screened porch and a well stocked kitchenette. Each cabin has adirondack chairs, a picnic table and a grill. There are lots of little alcoves and seating areas on the grounds overlooking Lake Winnipisaukee. The pool looked great though we didn't use it. Lots of things to see and do, and places to eat within walking distance, but don't miss the homemade muffins in the lobby in the morning! 24 hour access to coffee, tea, water and fresh fruit was also appreciated.

We had a lovely stay at Lakeview cottages! We stayed in a king size bed cottage and it was perfect for a weekend at Lake Winnipesaukee. We loved the community hangout areas outside of the cottages with the comfy patio furniture. Although we didn’t have time to use it, having a personal grill for each cottage was so cool and our neighbors were grilling up some burgers one night and they smelled so good! The pool was very nice. Loved the string lights on our small shared deck. The fresh muffins and coffee in the lobby in the morning were such a lovely touch! When we were heading out, the owners waved goodbye and thanked us for coming. I can’t speak for the inn at the property— but the cottage was lovely. Just a few minute walk to weirs beach and the strip! Can’t wait to stay again :)

We stayed in the Inn. The view from the porch was gorgeous. The inn had great outdoor seating and was conveniently located near restaurants and a few stores. Shared bathroom, which was no big deal and the price was unbeatable!

We stayed in the captains suite which was so spacious and had everything we needed including dishes and silverware. The place is very nice with lots of outdoor seating and the muffins are delicious.

Cottage was rustic….. very close to another cottage. My patio table less than 2 ft from neighbors. The folks next door were nice, but chain smokers up late with music on and their screen door squeaked. Pool was literally 4 ft from front patio also. So kids and family using were very close . Host was friendly .

This property is just wonderful !! Will definitely be coming back, and not just for the fresh baked muffins in the morning. We stayed in the main house, but will be trying one of the cottages next time. The pool area and the the front porch and the side area of seating was just gorgeous and the view was amazing

Great place to stay to enjoy Weirs Beach and the Winnipesaukee area. Staff was exceptional, and the property was absolutely lovely; plenty of nooks on the porches and around the grounds to hang out with family and friends. Pool area was lovely, and the views of the lake are spectacular. The main building has rooms that share bathrooms as well as some with private baths-if this is important to you, make sure you check prior to booking to make sure you get the type of room you want. Welcoming and low key. Highly recommended.

Everything was awesome! Great view and location. Friendly and helpful owner. The only drawback for me was sharing a bath with others. The cleanliness in the bathroom and the shower, which was in a separate but nearby spot from the toilet, was pristine. Still, I was uncomfortable with that situation.

We were looking for a quiet getaway for 2 nights on our way to our Labor Day weekend family gathering. This was a perfect stop for us! The beautiful old building was clean, the room we had was perfect for our needs, and the property was well maintained. Jan, one of the owners was a perfect host! There was a bowl of apples and oranges on the table in the coffee area, and homemade muffins every morning. Jan was very responsive prior to us arriving as well as while we were there. The view of the lake was breathtaking from the gorgeous covered porch, and we spent quite a bit of time there exhaling from all the major projects we've been working on at home. We will definitely go again!

Fantastic stay on short-notice - absolutely will go back for the price. The room was clean and neat, and they stocked me with extra bathing items and toiletries. The staff was incredibly friendly, and made sure I was well taken care of.

The location of the Lakeview House & Cottages was fantastic. Walking distance to Weirs Beach and the boardwalk. Beautiful view of the lake. Unit C12 was perfect for a couple, comfy king bed, all the amenities (small fridge, microwave, grill, coffee maker, hairdryer), with air conditioning. Steps from the in-ground pool and outdoor sitting area. Hotel staff was super friendly. Cottage C12 was older and did smell a bit musty. Access to the unit was also a little awkward to maneuver from the parking lot, up a flight of stairs, through a grassy outdoor sitting area and up another small rock wall. Overall it was great for the couple nights we were there.

One of my favorite places to stay with my daughter. It’s, quiet, quaint and convenient. The rooms are a little small, but it’s cozy, clean and meticulously cared for. It’s one of my favorite stays on the lake.
One of my favorite places to stay with my daughter. It’s, quiet, quaint and convenient. The rooms are a little small, but it’s cozy, clean and meticulously cared for. It’s one of my favorite stays on the lake.

We were looking for a quiet getaway for 2 nights on our way to our Labor Day weekend family gathering. This was a perfect stop for us! The beautiful old building was clean, the room we had was perfect for our needs, and the property was well maintained. Jan, one of the owners was a perfect host! There was a bowl of apples and oranges on the table in the coffee area, and homemade muffins every morning. Jan was very responsive prior to us arriving as well as while we were there. The view of the lake was breathtaking from the gorgeous covered porch, and we spent quite a bit of time there exhaling from all the major projects we've been working on at home. We will definitely go again!

Evidently I booked a room on the 3rd floor with a shared bathroom and no elevator... upon seeing the horror on my face the proprietor immediately moved us to a private cabin without a change in charges. She really made a great impression on us! The cabin was clean and lovely. We had a small screened porch and a well stocked kitchenette. Each cabin has adirondack chairs, a picnic table and a grill. There are lots of little alcoves and seating areas on the grounds overlooking Lake Winnipisaukee. The pool looked great though we didn't use it. Lots of things to see and do, and places to eat within walking distance, but don't miss the homemade muffins in the lobby in the morning! 24 hour access to coffee, tea, water and fresh fruit was also appreciated.

Fantastic stay on short-notice - absolutely will go back for the price. The room was clean and neat, and they stocked me with extra bathing items and toiletries. The staff was incredibly friendly, and made sure I was well taken care of.

Just yo start off there was nothing I didn’t like the property was beautiful inside and out the owners welcomed you with open arms checked on you daily to make sure if you needed anything they were there. It was so relaxing. I definitely will be going back. I give it a 10 plus

This is a great location. We stayed for a night when going to a concert at the Bank of NH Pavilion. It was just 3 miles away. The views from the House are gorgeous, Janet was wonderful, the room was comfortable and clean. We look forward to staying there again.They have done a great job with a historic site.

We had a lovely stay at Lakeview cottages! We stayed in a king size bed cottage and it was perfect for a weekend at Lake Winnipesaukee. We loved the community hangout areas outside of the cottages with the comfy patio furniture. Although we didn’t have time to use it, having a personal grill for each cottage was so cool and our neighbors were grilling up some burgers one night and they smelled so good! The pool was very nice. Loved the string lights on our small shared deck. The fresh muffins and coffee in the lobby in the morning were such a lovely touch! When we were heading out, the owners waved goodbye and thanked us for coming. I can’t speak for the inn at the property— but the cottage was lovely. Just a few minute walk to weirs beach and the strip! Can’t wait to stay again :)

We stayed in the captains suite which was so spacious and had everything we needed including dishes and silverware. The place is very nice with lots of outdoor seating and the muffins are delicious.

The pool was great and they provided floats. I also loved the warm berry muffin in the morning. However, next time I will rent a cottage as I was disappointed we had to share a bathroom.

Great place to stay to enjoy Weirs Beach and the Winnipesaukee area. Staff was exceptional, and the property was absolutely lovely; plenty of nooks on the porches and around the grounds to hang out with family and friends. Pool area was lovely, and the views of the lake are spectacular. The main building has rooms that share bathrooms as well as some with private baths-if this is important to you, make sure you check prior to booking to make sure you get the type of room you want. Welcoming and low key. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the Inn. The view from the porch was gorgeous. The inn had great outdoor seating and was conveniently located near restaurants and a few stores. Shared bathroom, which was no big deal and the price was unbeatable!

Everything was awesome! Great view and location. Friendly and helpful owner. The only drawback for me was sharing a bath with others. The cleanliness in the bathroom and the shower, which was in a separate but nearby spot from the toilet, was pristine. Still, I was uncomfortable with that situation.
