Overall a fairly positive experience. The hotel was nice, the staff was friendly and the pool was good. The town of Calella was a very nice place to visit. The beach was sandy, close and easy to access. Barcelona could be reached by train, bus and car in 1-1,5 hours. There's lots to explore closer by, though. The negatives were minimal soundproofing in the rooms. Also, without the air conditioning the hotel room was very hot, even when it was only 21-25 degrees outside. AC also created a feeling of draft, which some people (like me) don't like). I would recommend using airplugs while sleeping. The breakfast and dinner buffers were nothing spectacular, but decent. Some foods there were really good, though, whereas some were pretty average. Fortunately there are lots of options nearby - supermarkets, tapas bars, restaurants, etc. The gym was poorly equipped. The one multi-purpose gym machine there was promising, but too complex for hotel use in my opinion. As a personal gym machine it would have been pretty impressive probably. No dumbells or barballs were available, which is a big minus in my book. The garage is was a nice plus, but you can't fit a big car in there, or have to drive very carefully due to the cramped spaces. This would be a nice resort for a relaxed family holiday. I would not choose this as a starting point for exploring Barcelona on a daily basis, though.

Apartment was okay, overpriced for what you are provided with. Aircon doesn’t work, kitchen doesn’t have full appliances and couch has holes. The main pool was very dirty, in need of adequate chemicals. We requested a fan but we weren’t provided with one until the last night. Staff are lovely and apartment clean. Area surrounding the property is quite ‘dodgy’. Wouldn’t recommend staying in callella

Hotellet er fint til børnefamilien. Hvor personalet er sød og venlig, fornuftige pool, god morgenmad, og med fornuftig afstand ril stationen, indkøbsmuligheder, stranden og gågaden. Hotellet har masser af solsenge, så kommer Man før kl, er det ikke et problem af finde solsenge. Dog er der kun 8 parasoller, hvor flere af dem er i stykker. Man skal være opmærksom at værelserne er utrolig dårlig lydisoleret, hvor ved man kan hører alt hvad der foregår på værelserne omkring en.

Accueil professionnel une employée au français impeccable nous a facilité l’enregistrement. La chambre était adéquate mobilié en fin de vie cependant. Balcon petit et pas privé du tout on subissait les fumeurs voisins. Point moins agréable le coffre fort de la chambre est payant c’est un point non spécifié. Stationnement intérieur pratique évidemment payant (sans surprise) et très étroit. On se sentait en sécurité.

Stayed in a street-facing family apartment on the 2nd floor for 4 nights. Had a brilliant stay! The staff were amazing - very helpful and friendly. There was not too much noise coming from the street but on the weekend nights there was quite a bit of noise from other rooms although it didn't disturb us too much. The only negatives comments would be that a family apartment sleeping up to 6 people only had 2 cups so only 2 people could drink at any given time. We requested a third and told it wasn't possible. Also the shower overflowed on the first day and flooded the bedroom opposite. The cleaner emptied the filter and it seemed to be working ok. However after she left and I returned to the shower the same issue happened after about 30 seconds. We realised eventually that it is just a poorly designed drainage system where the drain can't get rid of water as fast as it is flowing. To get around it as ended up just using the shower on half power. A bit annoying but no more flooding! One of us found the bed quite hard and uncomfortable but the other 2 found it fine so this is a very personal view. Aside from that the stay was excellent. The pool area was lovely. Didn't use the pool itself but the loungers were great. A lovely location also. A short walk from the main shopping street and only 10mins walk to the beach and train station. Would recommend!

Lors de la réservation, nous avions demandé s'il était possible de réserver une place de parking. On nous a dit que le parking n'est pas réservable et qu'il faudrait voir à l'arrivée s'il reste de la place. A notre arrivée, la personne devant moi a eu droit à une place réservée à l'avance. Je ne sais pas comment. Alors que nous étions déjà arrivés et stationnés sur le parking de l'hôtel, je reçois un message pour me dire qu'il reste une seule petite place donc de bien vouloir confirmer ma réservation si nous avons une petite voiture. Vraiment l'impression qu'ils essaient de refourguer les places qu'ils n'ont pas réussi à "vendre". Concernant la chambre, nous étions a côté d'une sorte de local pour les femmes de ménage. Il y a des poubelles du coup ça sentait très mauvais par moment. De plus, dès le matin tôt, il y avait du bruit dans ce local, des portes qui claquent, des coups sur le mur, des gens qui parlent très fort. Sachant qu'il y a une chambre à côté, le personnel pourrait faire attention et être plus discret. Sinon la chambre était plutôt confortable et propre. Le petit déjeuner était bien.

Negativ: Zimmer sind zum Gang hin sehr hellhörig. Wenn andere Gäste mit ihren Koffern vorbeilaufen, hört man es sehr. An einem Tag war das Wasser aufgrund Rohrarbeiten abgestellt und es wurde nur durch einen Aushang im Aufzug bekannt gegeben. Auch wurde das Zimmer plus Küche nicht groß gereinigt sondern nur die Handtücher ausgetauscht. Bei einem Aufenthalt von 8 Tagen wäre eine Reinigung angemessen. Positiv: die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Der Pool ist super. Das Zimmer plus Küche mit Balkon ist für den Preis echt hammer. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Auch liegt das Hotel in der Innenstadt mit allem was man braucht in Laufdistanz.

Hotellet var ikke særlig rent og fremstod slidt. Poolen var meget lille og der var virkelig mange børn og leg med bolde og badedyr, til trods for at de ikke måtte være i poolen. Det var ikke muligt at svømme og der blev ikke taget hensyn til andre. Intet opsyn ved poolen. Vi købte en sangria i baren, det kan ikke anbefales. Det var fra karton og blev bare spædet lidt op med noget alkohol. Det kunne vi have købt lige så godt i supermarkedet. Calella by er slidt og ucharmerende, ikke et hyggeligt sted. Der var dog gode indkøbsmuligheder tæt på.

My room didn't come with the basics. There was no hand soap, no tissue paper. I also assumed there would be a bidet or similar but no, just a standard american toilet with sandpaper for TP. The bed was comfortable. It had a leather pull out sofa as well, but it didn't seem clean because it was sticky-ish.

there was an ant infestation in my room on 2 different days and i asked for my room to be changed due to an allergy towards ants but nothing was done. the bath water also wouldn't go down causing an overflow of water. wouldn't recommend

Mobiliario y puertas totalmente nuevas. Recepción Perfecta. Atención muy buena. Limpieza muy bien Baño nuevo. Instalaciones perfectas. No es muy grande, pero mejor todo mas cercano. Pudimos descansar, que es lo que necesitábamos. Si tengo que volver a Calella, será mi primera opción.

Établissement très propre, très bien situé. Chambre parfaitement conçue pour 3, décoration moderne, terrasse très agréable, accueil parfait. Seul bémol, accès au parking impossible si voiture basse. Nous avions une voiture classique, donc pas de problème

La.habitación está muy bien para el precio que se paga. La caja es cómoda, en espacio es agradable, la localización muy buena, el personal de recepción muy amable y simpáticas. B también está todo muy limpio y mantenido. Lo único menos positivo es que se escucha de una habitación a otra. En general muy bien.

Het hotel is prima maar wel gehorig. Afhankelijk van wat voor type mensen je naast je hebt kun je hier last van ondervinden. De badkamer heeft een openverbinding (rooster) met de badkamer van de buren en je hoort dus letterlijk iedere scheet die ze laten. Kamer was goed koel en goed schoon. Keukentje was klein maar voldeed. Personeel is ook erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De omgeving (centrum Calella) was een beetje druk maar wel gezellig. De horeca en de mensen zelf geven je echter het gevoel dat ze het wel een beetje zat zijn met de toeristen en dat is jammer. Verder moet je wel een parkeerplek reserveren want een parkeerplek zoeken is nagenoeg geen optie.

Stayed in a street-facing family apartment on the 2nd floor for 4 nights. Had a brilliant stay! The staff were amazing - very helpful and friendly. There was not too much noise coming from the street but on the weekend nights there was quite a bit of noise from other rooms although it didn't disturb us too much. The only negatives comments would be that a family apartment sleeping up to 6 people only had 2 cups so only 2 people could drink at any given time. We requested a third and told it wasn't possible. Also the shower overflowed on the first day and flooded the bedroom opposite. The cleaner emptied the filter and it seemed to be working ok. However after she left and I returned to the shower the same issue happened after about 30 seconds. We realised eventually that it is just a poorly designed drainage system where the drain can't get rid of water as fast as it is flowing. To get around it as ended up just using the shower on half power. A bit annoying but no more flooding! One of us found the bed quite hard and uncomfortable but the other 2 found it fine so this is a very personal view. Aside from that the stay was excellent. The pool area was lovely. Didn't use the pool itself but the loungers were great. A lovely location also. A short walk from the main shopping street and only 10mins walk to the beach and train station. Would recommend!

The place was decent however the walls are not sound proof. I was able to hear the people next door speaking and their baby crying. Overall, the staff were very nice and the area was good. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Very disappointing. Had to contend with noise from the streets and the surrounding rooms. Asked for a change of rooms but the receptionists wasn't obliging. Left 3 days early and lost the price of 3 nights as they wouldn't refund us. I would not recommend.

Negativ: Zimmer sind zum Gang hin sehr hellhörig. Wenn andere Gäste mit ihren Koffern vorbeilaufen, hört man es sehr. An einem Tag war das Wasser aufgrund Rohrarbeiten abgestellt und es wurde nur durch einen Aushang im Aufzug bekannt gegeben. Auch wurde das Zimmer plus Küche nicht groß gereinigt sondern nur die Handtücher ausgetauscht. Bei einem Aufenthalt von 8 Tagen wäre eine Reinigung angemessen. Positiv: die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Der Pool ist super. Das Zimmer plus Küche mit Balkon ist für den Preis echt hammer. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Auch liegt das Hotel in der Innenstadt mit allem was man braucht in Laufdistanz.

We stayed for 4 nights end of May, the hotel wasn’t busy and loads of sunbeds and space at the lovely breakfast buffet (loads of choice). The staff were great, special shout for the ladies on reception who made such an effort for my daughter’s 8th birthday while we were there! Would definitely recommend the hotel! Definitely worth the upgrade to a pool view room as the other rooms seemed to overlook the road. Only tiny negatives were no hand soap in the bathroom which was annoying, shower gel in place but not soap. And, the rule about no outside snacks or drinks by the pool- I understand they don’t want full takeaway meals brought in but telling people they can’t have water bottles for their kids or rice cakes for their baby is unfair and ridiculous, it didn’t ruin our stay but if we’d been there longer/it had been a lot hotter I would have kicked up a fuss. Overall fab! Calella Main Street comes alive in the evening, lots of eating places and shops, train to Barcelona take a a good hour and was quite busy but do-able.

This is a fantastic little hotel, 5 mins walking distance to the Calella high street, which has some lovely shops and restaurants, walking distance to the beach, and also the train station which has a direct line to Barcelona. The rooms are clean, staff are very friendly, and if you decide on the half board option the food is varied and tasty. We are a family of 5, with 3 children (5, 6, and 11) and would definitely return.

Apartment was okay, overpriced for what you are provided with. Aircon doesn’t work, kitchen doesn’t have full appliances and couch has holes. The main pool was very dirty, in need of adequate chemicals. We requested a fan but we weren’t provided with one until the last night. Staff are lovely and apartment clean. Area surrounding the property is quite ‘dodgy’. Wouldn’t recommend staying in callella

Hotellet er fint til børnefamilien. Hvor personalet er sød og venlig, fornuftige pool, god morgenmad, og med fornuftig afstand ril stationen, indkøbsmuligheder, stranden og gågaden. Hotellet har masser af solsenge, så kommer Man før kl, er det ikke et problem af finde solsenge. Dog er der kun 8 parasoller, hvor flere af dem er i stykker. Man skal være opmærksom at værelserne er utrolig dårlig lydisoleret, hvor ved man kan hører alt hvad der foregår på værelserne omkring en.

The hotel is just 10mins walk to the train station. There are also taxis. About 15 mins walk to the beach. Shopping and groceries and small shops around. Good location and you'll feel safe even at walking at night.

Overall a fairly positive experience. The hotel was nice, the staff was friendly and the pool was good. The town of Calella was a very nice place to visit. The beach was sandy, close and easy to access. Barcelona could be reached by train, bus and car in 1-1,5 hours. There's lots to explore closer by, though. The negatives were minimal soundproofing in the rooms. Also, without the air conditioning the hotel room was very hot, even when it was only 21-25 degrees outside. AC also created a feeling of draft, which some people (like me) don't like). I would recommend using airplugs while sleeping. The breakfast and dinner buffers were nothing spectacular, but decent. Some foods there were really good, though, whereas some were pretty average. Fortunately there are lots of options nearby - supermarkets, tapas bars, restaurants, etc. The gym was poorly equipped. The one multi-purpose gym machine there was promising, but too complex for hotel use in my opinion. As a personal gym machine it would have been pretty impressive probably. No dumbells or barballs were available, which is a big minus in my book. The garage is was a nice plus, but you can't fit a big car in there, or have to drive very carefully due to the cramped spaces. This would be a nice resort for a relaxed family holiday. I would not choose this as a starting point for exploring Barcelona on a daily basis, though.

We stayed for 4 nights end of May, the hotel wasn’t busy and loads of sunbeds and space at the lovely breakfast buffet (loads of choice). The staff were great, special shout for the ladies on reception who made such an effort for my daughter’s 8th birthday while we were there! Would definitely recommend the hotel! Definitely worth the upgrade to a pool view room as the other rooms seemed to overlook the road. Only tiny negatives were no hand soap in the bathroom which was annoying, shower gel in place but not soap. And, the rule about no outside snacks or drinks by the pool- I understand they don’t want full takeaway meals brought in but telling people they can’t have water bottles for their kids or rice cakes for their baby is unfair and ridiculous, it didn’t ruin our stay but if we’d been there longer/it had been a lot hotter I would have kicked up a fuss. Overall fab! Calella Main Street comes alive in the evening, lots of eating places and shops, train to Barcelona take a a good hour and was quite busy but do-able.

Charmant petites chambres pour accueillir 4 personnes (2 adultes et 2 grands enfants) pour quelques jours. Le confort et la propreté sont de très bon niveau. Petit déjeuner copieux et variés, peut etre seul les cafés n'étaient pas à notre goût (expresso) ! A recommander !

This is a fantastic little hotel, 5 mins walking distance to the Calella high street, which has some lovely shops and restaurants, walking distance to the beach, and also the train station which has a direct line to Barcelona. The rooms are clean, staff are very friendly, and if you decide on the half board option the food is varied and tasty. We are a family of 5, with 3 children (5, 6, and 11) and would definitely return.

Personnel très accueillant et compétent que nous remercions. Nous avons apprécié le logement face à la piscine, tout confort. Les repas proposés en demie pension étaient tous les jours différents avec divers choix. Nous reviendrons.

N'arrive pas à la hauteur d'un hôtel BNB en France, nourriture infecté, il fait payer cher cette prestation !!!! piscine sale!le pire hôtel que j'ai connu de toute ma vie...un conseil réfléchissez bien avant de réserver..ah oui il n'accepte pas l'espèce j'ai pris un grand risque a me promener avec une somme d'argent...

Good sized room for 2 adults and a 7 years old. Fresh towels daily. Plenty of space for us, including a bike and bike box. Nice wee kitchen area for prepping lunch.

Apartment was okay, overpriced for what you are provided with. Aircon doesn’t work, kitchen doesn’t have full appliances and couch has holes. The main pool was very dirty, in need of adequate chemicals. We requested a fan but we weren’t provided with one until the last night. Staff are lovely and apartment clean. Area surrounding the property is quite ‘dodgy’. Wouldn’t recommend staying in callella

there was an ant infestation in my room on 2 different days and i asked for my room to be changed due to an allergy towards ants but nothing was done. the bath water also wouldn't go down causing an overflow of water. wouldn't recommend
