Loved the pool. Loved the shower. Loved the balcony. Loved the breakfast choice. Unable to find plug to power kettle. Had to pull out furniture to plug in kettle - behind desk and television.

We hebben een ontzettend fijne vakantie gehad in Hotel Port Mahon. Het hotel ligt op 20 minuutjes lopen van het busstation in Mahon. Wij als twee 19 jarige vonden de service en vooral het ontbijt uitstekend. Erg uitgebreid ontbijt met een mooi terras om ervan te genieten. Het zwembad is netjes onderhouden en heeft een goede temperatuur. Er zijn ligbedjes en parasols rondom het zwembad, deze zijn gratis te gebruiken. Er is 24/7 personeel aanwezig aan de informatiebalie. Zo is er altijd service beschikbaar. De kamer is uitgerust met een een mooi en ruim balkon waar ja s’avonds kan genieten (als je hier voor kiest) en met een schone / ruime badkamer met een bad/douche. De bedden zijn erg goed. Elke ochtend wordt de kamer opgeruimd en worden er schone handdoeken neergelegd. De kamers zijn ook niet gehorig. Overal een top hotel als je het ons vraagt! Wij zijn erg tevreden :)

Lovely hotel and room was great with really good air con. Really glad we booked a room that had a balcony. Bathroom needed updating but we found out the hotel is shutting in October for a refurb. At breakfast we had a good choice - only gripe would be juices from a carton other than the orange that was in a jug but it tasted like it had been watered down and wouldn't expect this from a 4 star hotel. Didn't eat there for dinner as it was buffet service and again would expect this from a 4 star hotel. Would definitely stay at the hotel again though. Fabulous restaurants at the harbour below the hotel and a 10 minute walk takes you to the heart of Mahon. Good bus service there too to various places around the island. We got a taxi to the beach at Cala en Porter which cost about 20 Euros then the bus back. Great beach with lovely sand so not walking on stones / rocks into the sea. you can hire sunbeds with an umbrella for 18 Euros for the day. Also a couple of places to get drinks and food on the edge of the beach.

Poor tv reception for English channels. Noisy when staff and guests moved furniture above and below the room at various times during night and day. Hot plates at breakfast buffet didnt keep food warm. Great suite with large terrace overlooking the harbour. Good housekeeping. Friendly staff.

The hotel is in a fabulous location and the staff are all so friendly and helpful. The bathroom had a bath as well as shower and the balcony overlooked the seafront. The walk into the centre was about 15 minutes.

We had a lovely time in general at Seth Port Mahon. We had a Suite, which was nice and spacious. Our only issue was the air con did not work properly. We reported this every day, being told it would be fixed - but it was not. We were given a fan to go in our room as well, but aircon not working was not impressive. It would turn itself off completely after a few hours - so overnight the room became unbearable. Breakfast buffet had lots of options

Upon arrival I was offered a room with a view of the wall, although this was not specified in the booking conditions. The administrator Sylvia did not hesitate to change the room to a much more comfortable one, with a balcony. Many thanks to her!

The hotel is a lovely place for a relaxing holiday. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there was plenty of variety of food. We could easily walk to the harbour and watch the cruise ships and yachts and we had a walking tour of the old town which I highly recommend.

The hotel is in a fabulous location and the staff are all so friendly and helpful. The bathroom had a bath as well as shower and the balcony overlooked the seafront. The walk into the centre was about 15 minutes.

The hotel is a lovely place for a relaxing holiday. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there was plenty of variety of food. We could easily walk to the harbour and watch the cruise ships and yachts and we had a walking tour of the old town which I highly recommend.

Lovely hotel and room was great with really good air con. Really glad we booked a room that had a balcony. Bathroom needed updating but we found out the hotel is shutting in October for a refurb. At breakfast we had a good choice - only gripe would be juices from a carton other than the orange that was in a jug but it tasted like it had been watered down and wouldn't expect this from a 4 star hotel. Didn't eat there for dinner as it was buffet service and again would expect this from a 4 star hotel. Would definitely stay at the hotel again though. Fabulous restaurants at the harbour below the hotel and a 10 minute walk takes you to the heart of Mahon. Good bus service there too to various places around the island. We got a taxi to the beach at Cala en Porter which cost about 20 Euros then the bus back. Great beach with lovely sand so not walking on stones / rocks into the sea. you can hire sunbeds with an umbrella for 18 Euros for the day. Also a couple of places to get drinks and food on the edge of the beach.

Breakfast was disappointing- orange Juice out of carton etc. Finished at 10am very sharp during the weekdays- weekends longer- but we are on holidays!

We hebben een ontzettend fijne vakantie gehad in Hotel Port Mahon. Het hotel ligt op 20 minuutjes lopen van het busstation in Mahon. Wij als twee 19 jarige vonden de service en vooral het ontbijt uitstekend. Erg uitgebreid ontbijt met een mooi terras om ervan te genieten. Het zwembad is netjes onderhouden en heeft een goede temperatuur. Er zijn ligbedjes en parasols rondom het zwembad, deze zijn gratis te gebruiken. Er is 24/7 personeel aanwezig aan de informatiebalie. Zo is er altijd service beschikbaar. De kamer is uitgerust met een een mooi en ruim balkon waar ja s’avonds kan genieten (als je hier voor kiest) en met een schone / ruime badkamer met een bad/douche. De bedden zijn erg goed. Elke ochtend wordt de kamer opgeruimd en worden er schone handdoeken neergelegd. De kamers zijn ook niet gehorig. Overal een top hotel als je het ons vraagt! Wij zijn erg tevreden :)

Poor tv reception for English channels. Noisy when staff and guests moved furniture above and below the room at various times during night and day. Hot plates at breakfast buffet didnt keep food warm. Great suite with large terrace overlooking the harbour. Good housekeeping. Friendly staff.

We were unsure whether to choose this hotel, but were pleasantly suprised and pleased we did. The staff were all fab and clearly well trained. Antonia is such a credit to the business as are Sylvia, Diego and Gemma, all whom were very professional and welcoming. We had booked a junior suite with harbour view which was spacious and very clean. The view from the balcony was great and really made us feel relaxed and in the holiday vibe (especially having just travelled down from a full on festival in Cuitadella). The pool area was also very pleasant and a great place to relax after a busy day. As with other areas of the hotel, the pool was also spotlessly clean and there were plenty of loungers and parasols. Breakfast was ample, with everything you needed, be it fruit and cereal, continental or a cooked breakfast. We had evening dinner a couple of nights, which we enjoyed and felt was good value for money. In addition, there was a gentlemen playing Elton John music one evening, who had a great voice and was a very good pianist, so that was also a nice addition. The walk into Mahon was around 10-15 minutes which was perfect for us, but there were also plenty of great options for eating in the harbour below the hotel. All in all a great stay and if we visit lovely Mahon again, we will likely stay again.
