Well appointed hotel with friendly staff. Included breakfast buffet had good choice of menu options, although some 'hot plate' dishes disappointed (not kept properly hot). Cooked to order eggs / omelettes was a good option however. Swimming pools were clean but quite small for any serious swimming.

Second stay at this property and once again it didnt disappoint. The sky bar was open this time which was great. Plunge pools and.plenty of sunbeds mademit a really relaxing stay. Reception staff are all so friendly and helpful. Great breakfast options. Loved our stay and will definitely return.

Excellent views from superior sea view room, always something to watch on the channel to Mahon. Disappointing that there was no access to sea bathing but pools were pleasant. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was standard and the evening buffet we tried one night only as rather basic. Staff all very positive and helpful

O hotel e café da manhã são muito bons. Nos decepcionamos por encontrar o rooftop com as hidromassagens e bar fechados bem antes do pôr do sol. Definitivamente, eles deveriam rever esse horário de fechamento. Os outros hotéis fechavam essa área mais tarde. Tivemos apenas a noite pra curtir nele, e não pudemos.

Hôtel beau d’extérieur et intérieur. Gros soucis d’insonorisation des chambres : on entend tout nos voisins autour dehors également, dés 7h réveiller par le bruit de chaises tirées par les femmes de ménages horrible!! Pour un 4 étoiles ce n’est pas transcendant, les jaccuzis sont payants et même pas accessibles ( soit disant fermés ) Pour se faire comprendre ( en français) très compliqué puisque presque personne ne le parle c’est dommage. Hôtel que je ne recommande pas !! Nous sommes déçu, pour une si belle île.

My wife and I had a wonderful week at Barcelo Hamilton. The hotel is in a perfect location above where the promenade of the picturesque harbour of El Castell begins. From there it’s easy to tale a leisurely stroll with plenty of places to stop for drinks, meals, and shopping. We had a superior room with a spectacular sea view which was ideal for watching the never ending procession of boats of all shapes and sizes entering and leaving the port at Mahon. The staff are helpful and friendly. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and the breakfast was excellent with choices for all tastes. The pool and the rooftop jacuzzis are great, as is the rooftop bar with panoramic views. All in all it’s a great hotel in a perfect location.

El hotel está muy bien, te prestan sombrilla y silla para la playa y el personal muy amable. El circuito spa solo tiene sauna, baño turco y un par de duchas de sensaciones, así que no merece mucho la pena. El buffet no sorprende en cuanto a variedad ni en el desayuno ni en la cena y se ve que está bastante adaptado a cliente extranjero/ británico, pero lo que hay está bueno.

On a passé un week-end de 4 jours super, l'hôtel et la chambre très bien. Le personnel etait très sympathique et souriant (tout particulièrement Joan) le petit-déjeuner varié et de bonne qualité, les jacuzzis sur le toit geniaux avec la vue sur la baie :) Sans parler des bonnes pina colada... :) On reviendra !

Personale gentile, attento alle esigenze. Letto molto comodo materasso da almeno 35cm + topper Parcheggio della struttura un po' caro 20/dì considerando che i parcheggi pubblici davanti all'Hotel e nei dintorni, di sera dalle 19 alle 01.00 è ammesso solo ai residenti..

Great location, and mostly accessible (my wife is temporarily physically challenged and uses a cane to slowly get around). Receptionist Nicole (with the Scottish accent) was superb and made our stay even better! She is a treasure! As a retired architect, I noticed items that are in need of maintenance. The baseboards in the hallways need to be replaced with correct materials that will withstand wear and tear (entirely the wrong material, currently), and corner guards should be installed. The lobby bar could be better, with a greater range of drinks and a bit more "atmosphere". Apart from these minor issues, we would recommend this hotel to everyone!

The breakfast is very simple and staff does not replace quickly. The shower Glassdoor was broken and only got repaired after a reminder and 2 days.

We wanted a convenient base for exploring Menorca and the hotel provided it. Our room was very comfortable and the sea view well worthwhile: it was surprisingly enjoyable watching the harbour traffic come and go. Breakfast was fairly good, though very busy at peak times which led to shortages of cups and cutlery. Also, some food items (e.g. bananas and nuts) only appeared occasionally. Almost all our other meals were taken elsewhere. In the evenings we ate at the very good local restaurants in the town of Es Castell and round the harbour at Cales Fonts (special mention for the excellent Sa Punta, 5 minutes’ walk away). Disadvantages mainly related to the nature of the hotel. It is much larger than the usual ones we use, and provided services like loud evening entertainment in the bar that we don’t have any use for. Although the staff were friendly and helpful, the servicing of the rooms was a little unpredictable. In summary, it wasn’t our favoured type of hotel but it did deliver what we wanted and we had a lovely holiday.

We enjoyed the hotel very much. We were upgraded to VIP with complimentary room mini bar for the day. The hotel was modern, clean, good selection of food on the buffet, great music, loved the roof top sun deck and the staff was wonderful.

très bon séjour dans cet hôtel tres calme. Personnel fantastique au petits soins pour nous. Chambre propre et agréable. Etions en pension complète et tout inclus , le buffet était très bien le matin comme le soir.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely location. Although our room was over where work men were working, would have preferred a sea view.staff were helpful and friendly , they plenty of choice for breakfast.

We have stayed here previously and would always recommend that you specifically request a balcony room, if that’s what you want. Do not assume that as “most” rooms have balconies, that’s what you will get. Our issue was sorted with good grace (and a change of room) and we immensely enjoyed our stay.

Lovely room with extra big bed, good shower. Sea view and balcony a bonus. Huge choice for breakfast. Nice bread and pastries - even cava! Coffee machine with nice coffee.

L'hôtel en lui même est propre, le Petit déjeuner et le dîner sont bien aussi,cependant concernant les chambres,elles sont avec du carrelage au sol ( moquette dans les couloirs dès la sortie des ascenseurs)et du fait qu'il y du mobilier notamment les chaises avec les pieds en bois et sans patins,ben là c'est le dérangement est assuré ! En effet avec les autres chambres de côté au de dessus les clients qui tirent les chaises à bpas d'heure ben vous dérange ainsi que les femmes d'entretien, même le client que nous avions au dessus qui marchait pieds nus ,nous dérangez, c'est pour vous dire. Je trouve vraiment dommage que cette chaîne d'hôtel n'a pas remédier à ce problème car étant un hôtel pour adultes uniquement,nous ne sommes pas dérangé par les jeux d'enfants mais par ce que je viens de citer ! Du coup le séjour reposant n'était pas au rdv.

Le personnel est vraiment adorable. Merci à eux. Super séjour. Le seul point négatif est l’isolation des chambres c’est bruyant !!

everything was very good. However the rooms are too small. Bathrooms are barely adequate. Modern but tight on space. Products are only marginal and very limited. The images on network do not show an honest image of the room. Towels for three pools should be available on all floors. NOT at reception desk. Cold food excellent. Hot food could be improved. The hotel lacks the luxury anticipated. However we will return.

This was our 3rd stay at Barcelo Hamilton and wouldn’t consider anywhere else in the neighbourhood. East stroll round to Cales Fonts in 5 minutes, equally up to bus stop to Mahón and beyond. Be sure to get a sea facing room with balcony, possibly more expensive but worth every penny.

Well appointed hotel with friendly staff. Included breakfast buffet had good choice of menu options, although some 'hot plate' dishes disappointed (not kept properly hot). Cooked to order eggs / omelettes was a good option however. Swimming pools were clean but quite small for any serious swimming.

Second stay at this property and once again it didnt disappoint. The sky bar was open this time which was great. Plunge pools and.plenty of sunbeds mademit a really relaxing stay. Reception staff are all so friendly and helpful. Great breakfast options. Loved our stay and will definitely return.

We wanted a convenient base for exploring Menorca and the hotel provided it. Our room was very comfortable and the sea view well worthwhile: it was surprisingly enjoyable watching the harbour traffic come and go. Breakfast was fairly good, though very busy at peak times which led to shortages of cups and cutlery. Also, some food items (e.g. bananas and nuts) only appeared occasionally. Almost all our other meals were taken elsewhere. In the evenings we ate at the very good local restaurants in the town of Es Castell and round the harbour at Cales Fonts (special mention for the excellent Sa Punta, 5 minutes’ walk away). Disadvantages mainly related to the nature of the hotel. It is much larger than the usual ones we use, and provided services like loud evening entertainment in the bar that we don’t have any use for. Although the staff were friendly and helpful, the servicing of the rooms was a little unpredictable. Gros soucis d’insonorisation des chambres : on entend tout nos voisins autour dehors également, dés 7h réveiller par le bruit de chaises tirées par les femmes de ménages horrible!! Pour un 4 étoiles ce n’est pas transcendant, les jaccuzis sont payants et même pas accessibles ( soit disant fermés ) Pour se faire comprendre ( en français) très compliqué puisque presque personne ne le parle c’est dommage. We enjoyed the hotel very much. We were upgraded to VIP with complimentary room mini bar for the day. The hotel was modern, clean, good selection of food on the buffet, great music, loved the roof top sun deck and the staff was wonderful.

We stayed for a week here & found it a nice Adults Only oasis away from little people. It is nicely located with great sea views and very tranquil. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance and the restaurant does an excellent breakfast menu with plenty of choice. Staff are friendly and welcoming too.

Great location, and mostly accessible (my wife is temporarily physically challenged and uses a cane to slowly get around). Receptionist Nicole (with the Scottish accent) was superb and made our stay even better! She is a treasure! As a retired architect, I noticed items that are in need of maintenance. The baseboards in the hallways need to be replaced with correct materials that will withstand wear and tear (entirely the wrong material, currently), and corner guards should be installed. The lobby bar could be better, with a greater range of drinks and a bit more "atmosphere". Apart from these minor issues, we would recommend this hotel to everyone!

Excellent views from superior sea view room, always something to watch on the channel to Mahon. Disappointing that there was no access to sea bathing but pools were pleasant. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was standard and the evening buffet we tried one night only as rather basic. Staff all very positive and helpful

My wife and I had a wonderful week at Barcelo Hamilton. The hotel is in a perfect location above where the promenade of the picturesque harbour of El Castell begins. From there it’s easy to tale a leisurely stroll with plenty of places to stop for drinks, meals, and shopping. We had a superior room with a spectacular sea view which was ideal for watching the never ending procession of boats of all shapes and sizes entering and leaving the port at Mahon. The staff are helpful and friendly. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and the breakfast was excellent with choices for all tastes. The pool and the rooftop jacuzzis are great, as is the rooftop bar with panoramic views. All in all it’s a great hotel in a perfect location.

El hotel está muy bien, te prestan sombrilla y silla para la playa y el personal muy amable. El circuito spa solo tiene sauna, baño turco y un par de duchas de sensaciones, así que no merece mucho la pena. El buffet no sorprende en cuanto a variedad ni en el desayuno ni en la cena y se ve que está bastante adaptado a cliente extranjero/ británico, pero lo que hay está bueno.

Great hotel and location. We loved El Castell. Hotel could do with more sun loungers by the pool. There are two massive double sunbeds topped off which nobody could use. Also reception could be quicker to check in, a lot of forms to get a towel, most places give towel cards. Reception also needs to have better knowledge we asked about tapas places and somewhere to watch the England match and they couldn’t really help us

The pool was too small but ok for cooling down. We used this hotel as a base so didn't really stay in the hotel much. Breakfast was amazing, the pool area music can do with modernising.

The only issue I had was during check-in. I would have appreciated a warmer and more welcoming attitude from the reception Victor. A smile and a simple “welcome” would have made a big difference. Instead, I was put in an awkward situation in front of my wife when I was told that my reservation was for only one person. After I showed my booking confirmation, they acknowledged the mistake and corrected it. Apart from that, everything else was fine, other staff very nice principal in the bar and break fast.
