Van was broken into in the car park and there is damage that we now have to get repaired, wasn’t happy to hear this a regular occurrence at this hotel if we knew beforehand we could have parked closer to reception or not even bothered to stay at all very disappointed

Not a good experience after my van broke into and tool stolen the management ciuldn t be more unhelpful completely in different to my situation Also finding out that this happen s there regularly , there are no warning in the hotel car park , i will never stay again I paid for three rooms and there are not cheap so betwr resoonse and security needed

I stayed one night because I was attending a family event locally. The hotel is in the countryside and very quiet. Good pool and gym facilities. Staff were lovely and really helpful. The whole place had a lovely feel.

The rooms very very clean and tidy and the overall hotel had a modern look about it. The car park wasn't very well lit up at night and their was a security guard on a evening which gave me reassurance but it did give me food for thought. The pool could do with a good clean.

Room large, good ensuite, excellent shower. Twin beds rather squishy. Bedding not very comfortable. Breakfast buffet style, similar to Premier Inn but less choice of pastries etc. No personal choice options. Swimming pool left a lot to be desired. Is in use 6 out of 7 days for children swimming lessons, very restrictive. Went to use pool Saturday morning and told closed between 9am and 1pm, just when we wanted to use it. When did access pool it was extremely dirty around edge, needed good scrub. Not pleasant.

Worst of all, there were hairs left in the bathroom, which made the space feel unclean and unhygienic. This is unacceptable in any room, let alone one that’s supposedly a premium suite. After raising these issues with the staff, we were moved to another room. However, the second room was also below standard — tissues and rubbish were left outside, giving the impression that cleanliness and attention to detail are not priorities at this hotel. The only resolution offered was a 30% refund, which frankly does not come close to compensating for the experience. When you book a suite — especially for a special occasion — you expect far better service, cleanliness, and professionalism. Would not recommend, and will not be returning.

I have stayed at this property before this trip. Similar issues with cleanliness and run down building. Difficult to pass off as a 4 star hotel when it needs a lot of refurbishment. This stay was unpleasant due to a very unclean room on arrival and was woken up at 5:30am due to a fire alarm going off. It made it extremely difficult to go back to sleep. Upon arrival to our room we found hair on the bed and on the toilet leading us to think that the room had not been cleaned prior to us checking in.

This was our 4th stay and very disappointing . Rooms had damp and peeling paintwork. Breakfast was awful, cold, dirty cracked glasses. Staff were ok but somewhat indifferent. Never again!!!

Lovely hotel and warm pool. Bar food very expensive but good quality and tasty. We stayed in a room across the courtyard and the WiFi didn’t work at all. We were given the corporate login and this didn’t work either.

We booked the Executive Double Room, the beds were very clearly two stiff single beds put together and quite hard, the pillows were also quite tough making it not as comfortable as we would have liked. The room felt very dark interior decor wise. The WiFi did not work at all in the room where we were booked in to. Breakfast was a very good spread and a friendly chef and host to greet us. Room service cost was extortionate at £5 when a lot of the side items are priced at less than that.

This is a lovely place to stay. The rooms are clean, a decent size and fairly modern. However, the noise was an issue all throughout the night. People walking back to their rooms and talking on the corridor could be heard in the room to a point that it was waking me up. Also being near the pool made it noisy during the day.

Overall the hotel is decent. The bar is lovely. We didnt eat there only drinks but its a nice place to sit. The room I had was very small. Luckily I was on my own as I was travelling for work but there wasnt much room. My biggest problem with the hotel was the noise. Every room door bangs and the walls appear to be very thin. This means that when anyone else on the floor is up so are you! In my case that started at around 5:50am and continued all morning with people going back and forth. Maybe some soft close doors are the answer here?! I stayed here 2 nights and by my return home I was super tired! It is a shame as the bed was comfy and the shower was very good in the room.

Hotel, looks amazing but on closer inspection is getting a bit tired. Walls are paper thin, got into my room to hear a couple going at it, not next door but about 4 rooms away, as I returned to my car someone clearly phoned reception to complain.Then you could hear every door open and closing, every tap running. Even someones alarm woke me up at 4.30am.

30 minutes to check in. the room I was given absolutely stunk of mold and I couldn't stay there - the room should have been closed. Another 30 minutes to get new key. No toilet paper in new room. the poor lady on reception, who was the only person anywhere to be seen, had to bring me the rolls to my room. the phone in reception rang constantly without being answered. Queuing out of the door for people trying to check-in. to be fair the breakfast was really good. Same lady was still at reception for check-out - she had worked all night.

I stayed for two nights and both mornings only had cold water for a shower. I was down for work and ended up having to rush to work the first morning feeling unclean. My job requires me to be sat in a work car for 12 hours with a colleague. I couldn’t help but think I must smell and made work unpleasant to be at. Colleagues at reception did nothing on both mornings to resolve my issue. I expect some form of compensation or I won’t be using the hotel again. I’m a regular guest at this hotel but may not happen going forward.

Message requests through the Expedia messaging weren’t answered, just an automated response telling me to download an app. Subsequently I had to cancel my reservation and that message wasn’t even acknowledged. What a shame - it looked so nice, but my experience lacked any sort of hospitality or feeling of being a welcomed guest, and not even decent customer service.

The bar staff need training. They were incredibly slow and hadn’t a clue what was going on. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The facilities for the hotel were good and easy to park check in and out etc

Check-in was chaotic, with long waits and other guests complaining about double bookings. Our room, which opened onto an outdoor courtyard, was noisy due to a connecting door — we could hear our neighbours clearly. It was also untidy, with leftover prosecco bottles and room service that hadn’t been cleared. The bar was disorganised, with staff openly arguing about rotas and struggling to manage the number of events taking place. The pool was nice, though the changing rooms were very small. Dinner was enjoyable, but the lounge was loud due to another event, and a fire alarm later in the evening was poorly handled by staff. Loud music and shouting continued into the night. When we raised concerns, reception simply apologised without offering any solution. Overall, the hotel seemed overstretched and not set up to provide a relaxing stay.

The Hotel is located about 12-15 mins drive from the Uxbridge Underground and in a remote location which is quiet and feels safe. Lots of green areas and clean air. . I booked a Junior Suite and the room was clean and very comfortable. Good facilities with the indoor pool and gym. The staff service was top of the line. Very friendly and helpful. The chef for the breakfast made the experience great!!! My son had a specific meal need and the chef willingly helped us and made my son his special meal with no issues or extra cost. I will certainly stay there again when next I am in Denham.

Van was broken into in the car park and there is damage that we now have to get repaired, wasn’t happy to hear this a regular occurrence at this hotel if we knew beforehand we could have parked closer to reception or not even bothered to stay at all very disappointed

It is difficult to get to the property owing to the misleading road closures sign boards. So for people travelling don’t fret with road closure signs just keep going. Geoorge and Vivek at Bar restaurant were fantabulous.

A nice hotel, quiet and off the beaten tracks of London. Only thing that was bad was all the kids making a racket at a pool party when i was trying to sleep before a night shift. If u are a nightshift worker request a room far away from the pool entrance. Food and drink is good and i would stay again

Great location, easily accessible from M25 but feels nicely isolated when you arrive. Hotel is clean and well presented and the family room we had was perfect. Used thr pool a lot throughout the stay, was excellent. Didn't eat in the restaurant but breakfast was very good. My only slight criticism is that they need some nice beers on in the bar, it's very larger heavy.

Very tasty taditional English Breakfast, but also fruit & croissants available. Coffee machine including hot chocolate, several choices of tea. I really liked the perks offered for not needing cleaning every day! Surroundings are peaceful and beautiful. Plenty of free parking, which is needed for this kind of location. Friday night wedding kept me awake a bit, which was expected, what I did not expect was a party (assuming only on one room near to us) on a Monday night... Otherwise very comfortable beds to sleep in. The room was very clean and staff extremely nice and helpful. I wish the sauna will be changed into a proper Finnish sauna one day.

We had a 7 night stay at Denham Grove. The negatives were it is not located close to shops. Access through country lanes. You definitely need a car to get around. We had daily breakfast buffet included in our rate. That was just average at best. However, our room was very spacious. Plenty of room for a family of 3 and big luggage that we had with us. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Hotel was clean. Daily house keeping available if required. The hotel also had a pool and gym and had very good access times for hotel guests. The food in the restaurant was tasty especially the curries. Staff were generally pleasant and helpful. We would stay at this hotel again.

Jacob the Food and Beverage Operations Manager was amazing in arranging a special diner for my wife. Our server was a wonderful young lady called Alisha. She made the evening in our private pod magical. She was full of smiles and joy, even though she was having to keep coming outside in a drizzly March evening, with food and drink. This is not a four star hotel. The room is smaller than a premier Inn room, it was dirty with spider webs and dirt marks all over the walls. The food was appalling, how you can charge £21 for a cheeseburger is beyond me, but to then burn it and serve it in a stale bun? It is daylight robbery. I tried the penne arrabiata and it was overcooked to the point that the fork couldn't hold it, and it was covered in tinned tomatoes; I sent it back and asked for wings and chips thinking that you can't go wrong with that. The wings were not cooked, they were bloody and watery inside and unsafe to eat. The staff serving in the lounge were disorganised and kept forgetting simple things (cutlery, jug of tap water). We paid extra for breakfast and wish we didn't; the coffee machine had no coffee in it and just served hot milk, the hash browns were stodgy and mushy, and everything else was cold. This was meant to be a treat but it was so disappointing. Definitely not a four star hotel, I wouldn't give it 2 stars.

This was our 4th stay and very disappointing . Rooms had damp and peeling paintwork. Breakfast was awful, cold, dirty cracked glasses. Staff were ok but somewhat indifferent. Never again!!!

Very nice hotel with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable bed and room, great shower and bath with lovely smelling toiletries. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Iron, ironing board and hairdryer supplied. Buffet breakfast of good standard and nice dining room. Spacious bar and lots of outside seating space. Had a meal from the bar one evening and the cajun salmon and herb rice was very good. The hotel does cater for weddings and big groups which didn't worry me but might some people. All in all, a lovely 2 night stay

Wonderful stay - had 4 rooms booked with friends and their children. Beds comfortable, showers great, great bar service. The dining experience in the Pod was fantastic and the food absolutely delicious! Mia the receptionist along with the other lady receptionist ( on Monday eve & Tues morning) were both so very welcoming and friendly. Great stay

The bathroom was huge, with a separate bath and shower and double vanity. It was a relief to have air con during the heatwave, so we had a great night's sleep. We also made use of the pool, which is simple but does the job. I tried the sauna, but it was only warm at best. Breakfast was very tasty, with plenty of variety. I would definitely stay at Denham Grove again.

Normally a great place to stay, my recent visit was subject to a number of problems. (1) a staff member (accidentally, apparently) tried to access my bedroom at about 2230h whist I was sleeping. The Duty Manager acknowledged that it was an error - but I didn't really feel safe and secure at the time and over that night. (2) My key card did not work on two of the three days, meaning a long walk back from my room to reception (twice) to get it revalidated. Not a deal-breaker, but after a long hot day at work, the last thing you want is hassle at the hotel. (3) There were rarely staff available at the reception. I gave up waiting on on two occasions. There's no bell or buzzer to ring to grab their attention, and they didn't seem to be hiding in their back-office either. Disappointing, as this is normally a good place to stay, but I'll try a few others in the same area over the next month.
