Came to town for a weekend wedding in the city, and absolutely loved the quiet getaway this place provided us away from the chaos of weddings. Hot tub took a while to heat up but when it did, the teens absolutely loved it!!

After some winding roads, we arrived to find a pretty secluded cabin, and it was wonderful! The fire pit area was cozy and the hot tub was so relaxing. The cabin was clean and had everything you needed! The beds were comfy and I slept so well after days full of activities. I would definitely stay here again!

The cabin is perfect! Clean, secluded, comfortable beds, plenty of towels, fire pit, gas grill and an amazing hot tub! The kitchen is well stocked! We spent 4 nights at Grandma’s cabin and didn’t want our time to end. The path to the friends on the hill was an adventure we enjoyed every day with our puppy. 10 out of 10 highly recommend!

Pictures do it no justice. Very nice decor, Love all the antiques besides the modern amenities. Was nice and quiet yet only a short drive to town. Just the right size ! Have already looked into visiting again. Would recommend hands down to anyone looking for peace and quiet without giving up creature comforts. Ahhh the front porch swing !!!! :)

We love the cabin! Outside is very nice with space for kids to play, a fire pit, hot tub & trails to explore. Inside gives you that cabin vacation feeling. The decor, the style of the rooms. There was tons of movies & some games. Our family had a great time!

It was like home away from home! We were amazed by the attention to detail in every aspect of the cabin, from the comfy beds to the fully stocked kitchen. We even had firewood at the ready for the firepit, which was a nice bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Grandma's cabin and would definitely like to return again one day, but for a longer stay!

Wonderful place! This is the 4th time we've stayed here and it just gets better every time. Loved using the hot tub and the fire pit. Definitely recommend Grandma's Cabin.

Grandma's cabin is so cozy and adorable! It is comfortable, clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. We loved our weekend Easter stay. The cabin is surrounded by woods but you are not far from town and things to do. I loved sitting on the front porch listening to the birds in the morning and drinking hot tea and soaking in the hot tub at night after a day hiking at Chimney Rock (SO many stairs! :-)) . One night while we were sitting around the fire pit we even heard a wolf howling in the distance! There are lots of cute shops in the town of Black Mountain and the pizza and salad at My Father's Pizza restaurant was delicious! We'd stay again!

We loved staying here. Everything was exactly as described and very clean. Although we were well prepared for our stay, we could have come unprepared and unpacked and enjoyed it just as much. The house was generously stocked with everything you could need to stay comfortably. Also, the property is beautiful and quiet. It is quite a trip to the closest grocery store though. We will be staying again.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay, the cabin was very nice and quiet. My husband enjoyed the graveyard. The hot tub was very nice after long days. The only thing is I feel like the place needs a deep cleaning and the shower pressure could’ve been better, but we really enjoyed our Getaway!

Always love visiting Grandma's cabin. House keeper could do a little better with the cleaning, especially when you're paying a cleaning fee. Shower head is covered in mold and mildew. Other than that it's the perfect place for a getaway.

We loved our stay at the cabin. Very cute place, was spotless and had a lot of small items there that helped our stay, since we forgot some things. Just look around and chances are what you need is there. They even had tennis balls and food bowls if you had a dog with you. We didnt, but it was a nice touch. Water pressure was great!! Wish mine was as good. Loved the hot tub. We will be back for sure

This cabin looks nothing like the advertisement. There was no toilet paper, we had to go buy some. The cabin needs a deep cleaning, and new mattresses. We attempted to sleep on them, but they sank in so bad that you could not rest at all. The living room furniture is no better. I can assure you I will not stay again, nor recommend to others.

This cabin was such a great place to spend our vacation in the mountains. Between the beautiful outdoor areas and the games and movies that were there, my kids really enjoyed themselves and barely watched TV or touched their electronics. The fire pit was fun each evening and the trails were fun to seek out. The family cemetery was a fun surprise and we even had a black bear visit us one night! The location was removed but still close enough to many things to do in Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. Even the Linville Caverns weren't too far of a drive up the road. The beds were a bit bouncy but we all slept comfortably for the most part. I do wish there was a bathtub for our toddler as he won't take a shower, but other than that we had everything we needed.

The cabin was very nice! Hot tub was clean, everything was well stocked and comfortable. Wi-fi quality was iffy, which was not surprising due to the location and being satellite. The rainy weather kept us at the cabin more than expected, but when we had a chance to walk the property a bit it was really lovely.

Had a fantastic time for our week at Grandma's Cabin. We hiked to over 30 waterfalls in the area. The hot tub was wonderful after our long days of hiking. The Cabin was great. Clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The wifi went out due to a problem with dish network but the cell service was good enough in the area that it didn't pose much of a problem. We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

We had a wonderful stay in Grandma's cabin, it was cozy and warm despite the frigid temperatures! Near Chimney Rock and Lake Lure.. and an easy drive into Asheville. Owner was responsive and very friendly! I would stay here again for sure!

We have gone several times to the area and decided to take our first ski trip. We were more than pleased with the accommodations. The property manager responds very promptly, allowed us to extend and upon our request gave suggestions of things we may do in the area. We would stay again.
We have gone several times to the area and decided to take our first ski trip. We were more than pleased with the accommodations. The property manager responds very promptly, allowed us to extend and upon our request gave suggestions of things we may do in the area. We would stay again.

We loved staying here. Everything was exactly as described and very clean. Although we were well prepared for our stay, we could have come unprepared and unpacked and enjoyed it just as much. The house was generously stocked with everything you could need to stay comfortably. Also, the property is beautiful and quiet. It is quite a trip to the closest grocery store though. We will be staying again.

We enjoyed a four night getaway over the July 4th holiday to get away from fireworks for our doggo. That worked out perfectly. In addition we were close to Chimney Rock and Lake Lure and even Hendersonville with everything the little towns have to offer. We're hikers and there were several great hiking spots nearby. All in all a very good stay.

Amazing, quiet and off the beaten path. Allows you to stay home and spend time with family or just a few minute trip to multiple activities. We visited Pisgah, Hendersonville, DuPont, Chimney Rock and had plenty of time to be back and enjoy the local chimney rock brewery on the river. It’s a must stay!!!!

We had a wonderful stay in Grandma's cabin, it was cozy and warm despite the frigid temperatures! Near Chimney Rock and Lake Lure.. and an easy drive into Asheville. Owner was responsive and very friendly! I would stay here again for sure!

The cabin is located near a lot of places you'll want to see in North Carolina. Plus you'll get to see some wildlife in the mornings and evenings, deer turkeys and the occasional bear.

My neighborhood is WWIII during the first week of July and my dog gets very angry at the sound so I was looking for somewhere to get away from it all. This was that place. We had a wonderful time hiking Chimney Rock and walking around Asheville. Great location. Close to everything and quiet. Definitely will make it a yearly trip.

Nice and cozy atmosphere/decor, very clean, perfect for a stay-in weekend getaway. Sizeable bathroom and shower. Only hiccup was that, although listing does specify "basic soaps," it would have been nice to have something other than hand soap (like body wash) available for the recommended pre-and-post hot tub shower. VERY quiet peaceful location. Hot tub was very clean and well maintained, albeit a teensy cramped to try and fit more than 2 adults. Very comfortable beds and furniture, plenty of towels, linens, and blankets. Excellent wifi signal. Lots of lighting. Plenty of cookware. Driveway was easy to drive into/park/manouver in. Would absolutely recommend.
