Days Inn by Wyndham San Antonio Airport

I would recommend this Days Inn location to others. The parking is a little tight, but plenty of lights in the parking lot and everything was nice and clean and comfortable. right off freeway close to airport

Provided prompt and efficient shuttle pickup from airport to hotel. Shuttle van exceptionally clean with no smells or odors. Lobby clean. Open. Welcoming. The hotel bed was so comfortable. No charging station for phones but very clean and smelled nice. Was only there for a few hours because of flying out the next morning and they do have an airport shuttle but they charge $15 if you use it before 6 am.

Hotel is a mile from the airport, however they stop their shuttle at 11p. Desk staff was very nice & helped us find another hotel near our next destination. Note that breakfast is just coffee & granola bars

I had to wait for the clerk to show up so I could check in. Also, there was no free shuttle to the airport even though that was advertised on the Expedia site as such!

Noisy fan in my room, also strange odor that eventually went away w/ the AC on. Excellent bed, excellent shower (plenty of hot water!), staff were very helpful, friendly. Hotel is older, but fairly clean. Note - airport shuttle service is by reservation only and stops at 11pm. My flight arrived at 11:30 pm and so I had to use Lyft to drive me there.

Small room, no use of pool (closed). No breakfast, all other hotels now have at least grab and go food. Loud noises from people and airport/hwy. Glass broken in parking lot where we parked rental.

Disappointing Stay – Did Not Match Expectations I don’t typically leave reviews, but I felt it was important to share our recent experience. Unfortunately, the condition of the hotel did not meet the expectations set by the photos and description when booking. The ironing board cover was in very disgusting—stained and quite frankly, unhygienic. The chair at the desk was also heavily stained. When I booked the room, it was advertised that breakfast was included and the images suggested a full breakfast bar. However, upon arrival, I was informed that breakfast consisted of just coffee and a granola bar. This was misleading and disappointing. The pool area was another letdown. It was padlocked and fenced off in a way that gave the impression it was not meant to be accessed, and it resembled more of a secured area than a recreational space. Our room had a very unpleasant odor, and several of the amenities shown in the listing were missing. The overall condition of the room made it difficult to feel comfortable. The final straw came when my daughter and I left briefly to grab a meal and noticed a man loitering in the parking area. He watched us as we got into our vehicle and was still there when we returned, which made us feel extremely uneasy and unsafe. That night, we chose to sleep elsewhere and officially checked out the next morning, cutting our three-day reservation short. This was not the experience we expected. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously.

Smelly filthy room, forks on the floor, strong smell of mold

The hotel looks renovated and clean. The receptionist was super nice and allowed us to check in about 2pm. The area looked safe and it was closed to the airport, Walmart, and restaurants. It was a great stay for the price.

The room was dirty, paint was scratched off the walls and baseboards, bathroom was dirty and there were roaches inside, the bed was gross, chairs were broken and lights were broken

The room was extremely clean, the bed and pillows were great. Can't say a lot about the surroundings, but, I got the place because it was so close to the airport.😉Can't blame the hotel for that. I was actually really surprised by how nice the place was because it wasn't expensive. I will definitely book again if I am in the area again.

The hotel was so filthy that I couldn't stay there. I went in, looked around and left within 10 minutes. I had to walk out and stay somewhere else. 1. The carpeting was so filthy that I couldn't imagine stepping on it with my bare feet. What kind of fungus and bacteria is living in that filth? For goodness sake, spend a few dollars and shampoo the carpet once a year. 2. There were blood stains on the sheets. BLOOD STAINS. They expect someone to sleep on blood stained sheets. How much does a set of cheap sheets cost. If they're bloody throw them out. Better yet...burn them. Don't let some poor homeless person pull them out of the dumpster and catch a disease. 3. The cockroaches... If they are in one room they are in every room. They are indicative of unsanitary conditions. Days Inn is usually a reliable national hotel. I have stayed at them several times. This place was a hazardous waste dump. The people at the corporate level should inspect that disgrace of a hotel and take their franchise away. If they have already, they should be ashamed for letting it carry their name. Hotels.com has it rated an 8.0, very good. I'm certain the vast majority of those reviews came from family members and friends who never stayed there. I plan to file a complaint to Wyndham and tell them that having their name associated with such an awful property lessens the good name and the high quality associated with the Wyndham. I also expect a refund.

Excellent stay, I would definitely come back again. The room was very clean, customer service was excellent.

Very cleam and comfortable. Gated parking lot felt safe. Slept well. Good value! I'd stay there again.

Roaches in room bed had used tissues and hair in it .. Bed wasn’t changed bathroom was dirty and when we checked in cleaning staff were gone for the day . Had to buy our own cleaning products to clean a room we had already paid for . Worst place we have stayed .

The guy at the check-in counter was very professional. There was no continental breakfast or USB port(s) in the room. I'd like to see a tech upgrade.

Access to the interstate was convenient, however; noise from the traffic and planes overhead were pretty loud.

Property is near the airport. The attendant provided shuttle drop off at airport. Less than 10 minutes drive. The room is small, a little bit cramped with 2 stuffed chairs. I could have one desk chair instead. Bed was comfortable. The place is clean. Has mini-fridge and microwave, small coffee maker. No USB plugs and only one accessible plug for charger not to near night stand or desk. Has drawers to put clothes in, a small TV, hangers in closet, and ironing board/iron. Room was quiet considering how close it is to the freeway. It was advertised with breakfast, but the breakfast room was closed "for safety reasons." I did not reall miss the breakfast, but it should be taken out the the property features. I would stay here again.

The hotel clerk was very courteous, friendly, and efficient. But the hotel itself was one disappointment after another. They advertised free breakfast when I booked it didn’t find out they don’t have it till I got here. They advertised pool and hot tub when I booked it. Didn’t find out they are not usable until I got here. The Internet is OK but I had to turn it off to make my phone work faster on cellular data. Because the Internet is so slow.

At check in the front desk guy was amazing! I was in a mood and upset because my flight was cancelled and rebooked for the next morning. I didn't have any cash and needed some water, as I was in tears he gave me his own bottled water which was very much appreciated. The room was good but the A/C was so loud and did not cool the room enough for me. I like it to be cooler so kept it on but was so loud I could not sleep at all. Did not love that I had to pay for the airport transfer because it was at 5am and it was just the guy at the front desk who drove me. I wonder if it was later if it was someone else.

Their bed is always comfortable.

This is an older hotel. However, the rooms are in first class shape. The internet works well. The TV worked well. The Airport Shuttle system is good. There are a couple of things you should know about. First, the location requires a car or at least liberal use of uber to get ANYTHING. There are no gas stations, restaurants, or bars you can easily walk to. There is no breakfast - nothing! If you need the shuttle before 6 AM it costs 15 dollars. All that but the place is cheap, friendly, and clean. I can buy my own breakfast based on the cost.

The guy who worked the counter was the least professional hotel staff member I’ve come across so far. He didn’t want to do his job, and it was quite evident! I booked and payed for the night beforehand, but wasn’t able to get to the hotel until early in the morning. The guy cancelled my reservation without calling me, but I still payed the price for the night, wasting over $110 . He refused to undo what he did, and played it off as though it was cool. I’d say what his name is, but didn’t see a name tag on him.

The gentlemen at the front desk had to have been one of the rudest hotel encounters I’ve ever experienced. And not only on one occasion. On numerous interactions over a week. It’s was almost as if checking me in were an inconvenience. I’ll not stay here again. Based solely off how rude that young man was.

the staff at the hotel are fantastic! very kind, friendly and professional!! they were the only bright spot in my stressful trip. shuttle to/from airport is so convenient. hotel is quiet in room and halls. only thing is it surrounded by highways so didnt feel comfortable walking around and far to walk to resteraunts. a big shout out to manny and other staff front desk and housekeeping who made me feel so comfortable-they deserve raises (i stayed may 2 & 3)!

Arrived about midnight. The night clerk buzzed me in and I gave him my name for my reservation. I stepped out the door to grab my last bag and a lady walked in and the clerk proceeded to check her in and made me wait. I come here every week and sometimes twice. If you don't value your regular customers, then I will no longer be one of them. Good bye

Clean hotel, close to the airport. The breakfast is just a granola bar and coffee so don’t plan on eating there. The carpets need a deep clean but the rooms are in good condition. Great if you need a place for the night near the airport or don’t plan on being in your room much. Coming off the loop you have to cut over 4 lanes of traffic quickly or you will miss the turn in. Use Airport road for easier access.

Great stay. Check in was easy. Room was clean, comfortable, and affordable. Will definitely stay again. Lots of dining options nearby. Definitely recommend Chester's Burgers. It was not an issue for us, but guests do need to know in advance that it is not really walkable since it is on the frontage road.

Our stay was more one of convenience than anything. It was close to the airport for our very early morning flight.

For a budget hotel, this place was excellent. It was clean and quiet (after the airport settled down for the night). Down-side to its location is there are no food establishments within walking distance of this motel.

Fine for economical stay. The “breakfast” was only a coffee machine, contrary to what the listing said.

After booking the hotel that offers free breakfast, I then receive an email stating the "free Breakfast" is only the following items: 1. Coffee 2. Tea 3. Juice 4. Prepacked items (Granola bars, etc.) Just be prepared that if you are booking that this is not the continental breakfast offered by MOST hotels that offer free breakfast. During my stay the only offered granola bars. Had i know that based on the listing, I probably would have booked somewhere else.

It\'s conveniently located by the airport and a parking garage. The place was extremenly noisy at nightime and durng the wee hours of the day as some one kept slamming a door on and off. The website stated "breakfast included" when it was coffee and tea only one morning plus granola bars the next one.

Ok. But a bite pricey for what you get. I wouldn’t call the breakfast even a cheap continental.

They did not have breakfast as advertised

The bathtub was very slippery, very dangerous, didn’t have a anti slip pad, The ironing board was very dirty. The worst thing was the absence of drinking water, not even on the vending machine, not available. When I asked the attendant he simply replied that there was drinking water available

Was no breakfast but says they got it. Other than that everything was ok.

This hotel advertises free breakfast and shows a picture of a full breakfast bar. When we showed up for breakfast all they had was 5 granola bars and coffee! When I asked the person at the desk about the lack of breakfast he said that was breakfast! We chose this hotel based on what was false advertising!
