Lovely Hotel, definitely a 4*. Large property, so does require walking and use of lifts. Quiet location once in the hotel, but also on the main Road. Ample parking, but small spaces. Breakfast buffet excellent, even Prosecco!

Nice 2 night stay I liked the location, out of the busy city center, quiet. Great walk along promenade or on the beach. Taxis easy to get to town. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Fun to play padel on property, nice pool area. Spectacular view from our beachfront room, get up to watch the sunrise! Only thing I found frustrating was no iron or ironing boards. They said we had to send it out for pressing, when we called reception to request one.

Staff extremely courteous and helpful. Hotel clean, although rooms are slightly dated. Pool area lovely, with plenty of sun beds. Breakfast is outstanding. Possible to purchase evening meal - buffet varied and good, only shame is that non-alcoholic drinks, including tea and cofee are not provided gratis, given the price of the meal. The hotel was spotless, in the rooms and all customer areas. The pool was brilliant, a good size so it never felt cramped. Plenty of sun loungers (there will always be some weirdos hogging the loungers with towels but there were always plenty available) the staff were all lovely, they had people bringing drinks to the pool area every day and and the service in the paid restaurant was quick. We did half board, the breakfast buffet had a great variety, the dinner buffet was a bit hit and miss occasionally but that’s just down to personal taste. One thing to be aware of is that there were no water drinking fountain anywhere (not that I could find anyway? and water was not freely provided in the rooms so we had to go to the local supermarket and buy bottled water, if we did not want to pay over the odds for water. The alcoholic drinks were fairly priced, a pint of lager starting from 5 euros and a large spirit with mixer 8 euros. The beach front is beautiful, you can hire sun beds there for around 7 euros but we just bought a sun parasol for 12 euros at a local shop and used that for the week, it took 15 minutes to walk to a large shopping centre and 25 or so minutes to walk in to fuengirola town. Or 6 euros in a local taxi. (Uber was quoting 12 euros for the same journey so be wary of that) unfortunately we didn’t use the Spa in hotel because the weather was so fantastic, but the pricing was similar to that of a UK spa. We had a brilliant week and would go back again!

We went to try it and ended up turning back ,just not worth it. Service was great throughout, and the staff were warm and friendly. The spa was good as well; you do need to book ahead for massage treatments, but the pool, jacuzzi, and sauna are usually easy to access this time of year. The outdoor pool has a gorgeous view and is kept very clean. There’s no private beach, but there is direct access to the beach from the hotel grounds, which is a big plus. And for the shopping enthusiasts, the Miramar mall is only about a 15 min walk or a 5 min drive, very handy. Overall, a charming stay with a few quirks, but plenty of highlights.

Having lived in the area previously. I decided to stay here with the family for ease of pool and beach access. I found the property spotless, credit to the cleaners, not a smudge or water mark in sight. Breakfast was sufficient with a good variety. Rooms were comfortable albeit, decor could be modernised in the future but that’s not a criticism. Whilst it’s at the end of Fuengirola beach/paseo, it’s literally walkable to Miramar shopping mall and Fuengirola city centre (15 -mins) Castillo Sohail is literally next door

The grounds and buildings were all well maintained and clean. The room was adequate, had a nice terrace with a view. Breakfast was good. Staff were all friendly. The bar near the pool was reasonably priced and had good service. Plenty of seating available around the pool. Not a bad walk to downtown and the boardwalk. Parking spaces were tight. Not used to that. I would stay there again if I were going to that area again.

I had a wonderful stay at the HIP Palace Hotel in Málaga. Everything was spotless, from the rooms to the dining areas, and the organization was excellent. The reception team was very welcoming, and the customer service overall was outstanding. The breakfast and dining experience were truly amazing – delicious food, a wide variety of options, and a great price considering it’s all-you-can-eat. Everything was well prepared and presented. The hotel also offers many activities during the day and evening, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The location is fantastic, just about 20 minutes from Marbella, which made it very convenient for exploring the area. The only small suggestion I would make is to provide irons for guests. In most hotels, there’s either one in the room or available upon request, but here it wasn’t an option unless using their ironing service. Having a few irons available for guests would make the experience even more perfect. Overall, my experience was excellent, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Málaga. Well recommended

It was a good stay the reception team were excellent and the rooms were clean. Didnt try the breakfast so cant comment. I would say the rooms are dark and the lighting is poor. If you like walking this is the place. Would i stay here again yes as its free parking and the pool area is very good.

Great location right on the beach with amazing sunrise. Parking located right outside the property, about 30 min drive to center of Malaga. We did buffet dinner and breakfast and both were delicious with great variety. The only thing is that rooms need to be upgraded.

Meget larm fra andre gæster, meget lydt, høje brag fra døre der smækker, andre der tramper i gulvet. Kedelig, tør og kold mad , morgen og aften. Ved ankomst til midnat, intet mad og drikke at få. The hotel advertises air conditioning, but in winter there was no cooling available. The system only produced warm air. The room felt very humid and stuffy, and there was no proper air circulation. Reception acknowledged the issues and suggested to keep the balcony door open, and a fan was also offered. However, keeping the door open made the room noisy, and I had to use earplugs to sleep. My refund request was ultimately declined, although they first suggested that refund would be accepted. Overall, the sleeping conditions were not comfortable. IPV Hotel and Spa excellently located hotel on the outskirts of Fuengirola. All staff friendly and courteous, waiting staff worked long hours throughout day and evening, it did feel at times there needed to be more staff on duty especially at the Lobby bar in the evenings. Breakfasts very good with plenty of choice, we chose to eat mainly in the tapas bar of an evening as we enjoyed smaller plate style food. Juliana was always about and stood out for us as friendly and efficient. Only things that need updating/replacing are the sun loungers not great at all in such lovely surroundings. Rooms clean and tidy with comfortable beds and great views.

Stayed many times here as we love it and never had any issues and always been perfect, but certain things seem to have changed but unfortunately not for the better! Checking in was a nightmare and the girl must have been new but made something that’s always been easy difficult until Jorge can and sorted it out. Didn’t see many of the usual amazing staff that’s there and certain food items have been changed for a cheaper version, looks like they are trying to cut costs in many areas but charging more for your stay. €30 for the lunch buffet drinks not included pp is expensive! Especially now the quality isn’t the same

What a fabulous hotel. The location is a bit out of the way, but that suits us. Staff are fabulous, really welcoming and friendly. The lobby is super impressive and has a great breakfast/dining room lovely. This was our second stay and won’t be our last. Would recommend to friends.

Nice hotel. Downside was the restaurant (not breakfast that was the best I have come across anywhere in Europe). We had dinner in the poolside restaurant and it was not great. Undercooked burger, everything was cold. Restaurant needs some work. Otherwise everything was really good.

Possible to purchase evening meal - buffet varied and good, only shame is that non-alcoholic drinks, including tea and cofee are not provided gratis, given the price of the meal. Really nice hotel just 10 minutes walk away from main strip and shopping. The hotel itself is nice but the negatives for us were: - Very little choice of vegetarian food. Even the salads had fish/meat - Lots of food cross contamination with utensils, etc. - Pool was freezing cold as not heated - be great if they had a heated pool - No entertainment - No arcades/pool table Positives: - Close the nearby restaurants - Ample free parking outside hotel - Only hotel on the beach in the area so you can leave door open and listen to waves - Huge Miramar shopping centre 10 mins walk away with outdoor go karting on roof Overall, a good hotel and would come back as long as they can address the food situation. More and more people are going vegetarian/vegan and hotels should get ahead and cater properly.

We had a sea view room, very nice views. Rooms are dated and the cleaning staff never cleaned our cups. No kettles in room, you need to request. The hotel has no irons, bring your own as they charge per item. Vegetarian food is very limited and was pointed to the salad bar every evening as we were half board. We ended eating outdoors every evening as there are some fabulous resturants nearby the hotel that offer great vegetarian food and only had yogurt and fruit for dessert every evening.
