Informazioni su questa struttura

27 Pinewood Hill is a detached cottage resting in the port town of Warrenpoint on Carlingford Lough in Northern Ireland. This single-storey cottage sleeps up to six guests and has amazing views of the countryside and mountains, making it an ideal base for your next adventure to County Down, within easy reach of Newry and Rostrevor. You are greeted to the property with a private driveway and a front lawn with furniture so you can enjoy a morning coffee as you watch the world go by, whilst moving into the property there is a porch to leave any coats and shoes. There is a kitchen/diner, which has everything you need to prepare a picnic or cook up a storm for all your guests to enjoy, including a dishwasher to take care of the washing up. Enjoy group dinners together around the dining table in the spacious dining room as you toast to a wonderful holiday; there is also an adjoining utility with extra freezer space and a tumble dryer to compliment the handy washing machine in the kitchen. Moving through the property, there is a welcoming living room with an electric fire, so you can warm up your toes as you settle down in front of the television for a night indoors, and a shower room for guests to freshen up after a long day. To finish the charming property, there are three bedrooms; a king-size with gorgeous views of the countryside, it's own wash basin and built-in wardrobes allowing guests to unpack all their personal belongings, another king-size room with built-in wardrobes and a twin room which allows for flexible sleeping arrangements and has its own basin to freshen up. To the rear there is an enclosed garden, which has a lawn area, and a patio to the side of the house with furniture, where you can enjoy a spot of alfresco dining or a glass of wine as the sun goes down around the mountains. The cottage is just a stone's throw away from all the amenities that the small port town of Warrenpoint has to offer, such as a golf club, brightly coloured houses to admire, and a number of pubs and eateries with views of Carlingford Lough. Warrenpoint rests by the River Newry and Carlingford Lough, surrounded by views of the Mourne Mountain Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is home to Slieve Donard, Northern Ireland's highest mountain. Just a short drive away is the shopping haven of Newry, which has many high street shops and shopping centres, as well as bars, a gorgeous Catholic cathedral, a museum set inside the 16th century Bagenal's Castle, and some lovely parks and gardens to explore. A few minutes in the opposite direction is the pretty village of Rostrevor, with the Kilbroney river running through; from here you can park at Kilbroney Forest Park and take a zig-zag path up to Slieve Martin, where you can find Cloughmore Stone and embrace views of Warrenpoint and the surrounding lough and countryside. For an even more scenic option, the Mourne Coastal Route is home to the most breathtaking views in the country, leading from Belfast, through the County Down coastline and Mourne Mountains, to the city of Newry, or visit the nearby Tollymore Forest Park which offers great walking and cycling routes, and if you're a Game of Thrones fan, you'll remember it as the Haunted Forest where the White Walkers once marched through. Also within driving distance is the seaside resort of Newcastle which offers both mountain trails and beach days, on either sandy or rocky beaches, as well as a number of ice cream shops, amusements and bars. Further afar, you could venture into the capital city of Belfast, where you can explore the history of the Titanic with the famous museum built on the grounds where the ship was made, the gorgeous hilltop castle, popular Botanic Gardens and another link to Games of Thrones with its stained glass window trail throughout the city.
