The Bold Hotel; BW Signature Collection

The breakfast was really good, the first morning it was fresh but the second morning it was a fresh buffet, I think it depends on how many people are staying at the time. The wait staff who was on both mornings was outstanding! He remembered us and our preferences?

The Bold is a lovely Hotel, very popular with non residents to, day and night, inside and out It’s on an excellent location, near to all amenities Some car parking spaces round the back but you can pay for a space, with a discount at their sister hotel The Grand across the road if it’s full All the Bar, Restaurant and reception staff were very warm and welcoming. The room was cosy, the bed comfy, the bathroom spacious, all with good facilities Breakfast was a very nice hot buffet, drinks machine and a cold selection with a toast machine The only draw back we found was that there was some road and revellers noise into the night that a bit of internal double glazing would have fixed and a lift to the bedrooms would be good It was good value for money We would definitely recommend staying there

Stayed at the bold hotel many times in the past After this stay it does need some work and renovation. The old place is looking tired and old. Stain on the ceiling in our room carpeting one furniture, outdated, and exterior needs repair and painting.

Food was excellent , rooms spotless, shower did not have a very good flow of water.

Lovely staff. Room comfortable and spacious. Was a little too hot but there was a fan if needed. Allowed us to check in early and store the cases after check out
