The Swan is a lovely property. It has more of a bed & breakfast feel than a hotel, which I like. The rooms and bathrooms are small, but very clean and incredible attention was made to the layout and design of each room to ensure maximum functionality and use of every single square footage of space. There's space for all of your belongings if you're traveling like I was. The food at the restaurant is exceptional. The views of the Thames River from each room, restaurant and pub are spectacular. I only stayed one night before heading back to my home country from a long visit to attend Wimbledon. I look forward to lodging at this property again next year.

The Swan Hotel is amazing. Beautiful riverside pub a creaky old building full of character. The staff were amazing. We had an evening race at nearby Dorney Lake, it was my birthday and our anniversary the next day. We pitched up at 1pm when the check in wasn’t till 3pm. They were charming, found us a lovely room with a balcony. Lunch was fabulous. We were worried we wouldn’t get back in time for dinner as the kitchen normally closes 9-9:30pm but they held the restaurant open and we had another lovely meal before heading in to the bar to watch football on tv. Cannot fault any aspect of our stay. I was amazed the place isn’t full every night

Had a great stay at The Swan on an overnight stop between flights from Heathrow. It’s got lots of character on the river and a brilliant change from your standard airport hotel. Good food and drinks options at the pub and quite a few good restaurants within 5 mins walk. Rooms are very stylish and modern. Only issue is there was no aircon - fans were provided and the windows can open, but was still fairly warm. Only likely to be an issue in the middle of summer. Overall a great stay in a traditional old English pub. Heathrow T5 was only 10 mins away and Ubers were plentiful even in the very early hours of the morning so no issue getting to/from the airport.

Stayed due to close location to Heathrow airport. Lovely, historic hotel next to the Thames. The room was very clean and well presented , with a lovely en suite and balcony. Good facilities and thoughtfully designed to make best use of space. The bed was comfortable, though a little small (Queen). If I return I would choose a larger room. Not a criticism, just simply a personal reality for a taller couple 😂. The restaurant is excellent and bar homely. All in all a great stay.

The staff was superb. They went out of their way to make sure that I had the best of everything . We talked about everything. Also the bar hotel has been kept in great condition. Now I want to say something almost no hotel can brag about no matter the room price. They cleaned my room everyday , replenished whatever was needed, made the bed, etc. Nothing was to good for me. Thank you Paul and all your staff. I love you all.

Every single member of staff we met made us feel special on our visit. They were so kind and helpful. The service was swift and efficient. The hotel was very clean and comfortable throughout. Great value for money. The choice of breakfast was very good and delicious. The parking outside, although limited was very well priced (council owned, but you pay in the hotel). We will recommend to others and hope to return.

I had a lovely stay! Great location right on the riverside, good food, tasty breakfast. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was cool with nice toiletries and coffee/tea facilities, the only thing was the shower got the floor really wet and the bathroom door handle was coming unscrewed (I was in room 10.) I’d stay again and totally recommend this hotel.

We had a quick one night stay at The Swan Hotel and wish we had more time! We were very impressed with the friendly service, exceptional amenities, amazing breakfast and beautiful scenery and location along the River Thames. The rooms are small (as advertised) but super cozy and welcoming! I wish we had more time here and would highly recommend!

Lovely stay fantastic staff and breakfast….. Quirky room loved that the floor was on a slant.. Room had everything you needed in it, even had a bug zapper and Bluetooth speaker so you can play your own music. Lovely to sit by the Thames have a drink and watch the boats go by if ever in the area again would definitely stay here again…

As an American, being able to stay in a building constructed in 1598 was a treat! The building has been maintained and updated but retains the spirit of the original era. My room was right above the pub so it was loud for a bit but the pub closes at 11 and it got quiet at that point. My balcony also looked out over the Themes and I saw rowers shooting along it all morning. The restaurant also offers yummy vegan options. I will definitely be back.

Great overnight getaway in their largest river view room. Great staff and food. Lovely top-end Teapigs teas and coffees in the room. This is a very old building so expect squeaky and sloping floors. Wamr rooms (almost too warm), although could benefit from double glazed windows in the bedrooms to cut out some of the noise from people talking on the pub terrace below.

Working in the area many times, if not actually stayed in Staines but I will do again due to the lovely Swan hotel. The hotel was ideally located, clean and full of character but it’s the staff that are the standout feature. All staff were lovely and friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, thank you all so much!

Lovely hotel in an amazing setting on the Thames. Staff were lovely and the food was great. The thing that spoilt it: It's also a pub (not a problem by itself) but they have an outdoor area with a TV (playing football matches) - right under our window. That meant drunken lads shouting at the screen (very loudly) and even with the windows closed it was very loud. This went on for several hours, eventually stopping at around 11pm. The (quite young) staff were reluctant to confront the increasing drunken group, so the noise just got worse.

I’d definitely stay there again if I have reason to be near Staines again. Beautiful spot on the river. Not short, but a nice, easy walk to the train station.

Everything went better then expected. We picked this hotel for its location and convenience to Heathrow Airport. It had that and a whole lot more. The coolness of being along the river with the awesome view from our room and a great restaurant too. Mason checked us in and was a big help.

Such a gorgeous setting on the Thames. Great buzz and lively bar Extremely professional staff all round Very comfy bed and the option of sitting out on the balcony overlooking the Thames We will definitely be back!!

Small hotel, quiet, out of the way but not isolated, has good walks swans swimming and a staff quietly comfortable with what they do. Its just a stones throw from Heathrow. You won't do better.

This historic property is on the Thames with it's own dock. It is a great location for the airport and local visits to Windsor, Runnymede and more. Great walks along the tow paths and easy access to all the amenities you need!

Charming small hotel on the river, not far from Heathrow. Very picturesque. Restaurant and pub seemed to be popular with locals. Great breakfast that was included. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to others.

Rooms are lovely now it’s been redone, nice little balcony view too. Breakfast was hit and miss to be honest wife didn’t eat hers as wasn’t great salmon and eggs.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay: friendly, attentive staff; small but pleasant room; good beer in the bar; nice food at dinner and breakfast. The weather was fabulous during our stay and it was lovely to have the river view from our bedroom and the dining room, and to sit out on the terrace for pre-dinner drinks.

Staff are friendly. Lovely location beside river. Our room was small but okay. This is a very old building. Charming but wonky floors and steep stairs. We had full English breakfast but it was only ok. No aircon. Would stay here again.

An eye-opening experience of excellence, from the staff, the room (trust me, Room 11 is the best), to the gourmet food and superb selection of Beers, wines and spirits and above all, the fantastic location riverside, you will struggle to find a better stay in the whole of the South East.

Not good if you want to sleep. Noisy pub across the street and downstairs. Since no air conditioning, the window had to be open some, so even noisier. Should disclose there is no air conditioning.
