Bien placé. En travaux. La plupart des infrastructures étaient fermées. Il y a avait une solution de replis dans un hôtel voisin. Ça rend le prix finalement un peu trop élevé…

Die einzige Bar des Hauses war im Juli wegen Renovierung geschlossen, das Angebot im Restaurant (Buffet) ist morgens ok, abends sehr durchschnittlich. Gleiches gilt für das Angebot der Strandbar. Pool nur indoor. Am Strand Plastikliegen auf Beton, gegen Aufpreis Kunststoff-Liegen auf Rasen. Insgesamt verfehlt das Hotel in Angebot und Ausstattung deutlich den beworbenen 5 Sterne Standard.

Leider entspricht das Hotel keinem 5 Sterne Standard sondern maximal 4 Sterne. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und modern und haben einen sehr schönen Ausblick. Das Essen und die Atmosphäre im Speisesaal hat aber mit 5 Sternen nichts zu tun. Es befanden sich bei meinem Besuche sehr viele Bus Reisegruppen im Hotel und dementsprechend laut war es auch. Der Wellnessbereich ist schön aber der Fitnessraum ist ein Witz. Nur veraltete und teilweise defekte Geräte. Hier sollte dringend nachgebessert werden. Im Hotel selbst Gabe es mehrere Baustellen, die sehr unansehnlich waren. Das Personal war insgesamt sehr freundlich und Serviceorientiert. Ich würde das Hotel nicht noch einmal buchen da es nicht meinem Anspruch an ein 5 Sterne Haus entspricht.

Es hat uns alles gefallen, tolles Zimmer, tolle Aussicht, tolles Essen, einfach eine wunderschöne Zeit!!! Das Einzige was nicht so toll war, das wir erst 2 Tage vor Ankunft die Mitteilung bekamen, das der Pool im Bernardin geschlossen war und wir mit vollen Taschen zum Hotel Histrion ausweichen mussten. Aber der Pool war sehr schön! Nur die Kommunikation könnte besser sein, da der Pool im Bernadin bereits seit 26.10. geschlossen ist. Aber sonst alles top👏👍

This is a beautiful location! I loved the view and how easy it was to walk to the centre of Piran (which is beautiful by the way). There are electric scooters out front if you don't want to walk that far. There was also a delicious restaurant close, before the main part of town. I believe the bar by the ocean was closed when I was there (end of September) but other than that everything was great. Buffett breakfast was great with lots of selection. As a Canadian woman traveling alone I felt totally safe, the staff spoke english (grateful). One thing - be careful if using the stairs to go for a swim in the ocean, I was using the railing and still slipped and fell - lol.

La spa una chicca (deve essere prenotata in anticipo perché gli ingressi sono limitati) e anche la piscina al nono piano panoramica molto bella. La colazione perfetta, c’è veramente di tutto! Hotel stra consigliato, si può raggiungere Pirano con una piacevole passeggiata sul mare in circa mezz’oretta.

Bra läge med promenadavstånd in till Piran centrum. Mycket bra strandservice med inkluderade solstolaroch handdukar. Trevlig poolbar och nära till restauranger. Mycket bra spaavdelning med behandlingar.

Zimmer für ein Fünfsternehaus etwas zu klein, schönes SPA mit Meerblickpool.

The view from this hotel was gorgeous. The room was clean, cute and comfortable. The hotel restaurant upstairs has a buffet option for 25€ per person (price for July 2022) which was pretty good and very convenient. Private beach area was really nice as well.

Das Hotel ist gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Die Kellner sind sehr aufmerksam, vor allem an der Bar. Frühstücksbuffet ist OK, aber nicht herausragend. Gut fand ich, daß sie regionale Speisen anbieten. Von Buffet am Abend waren wir nicht begeistert, a la carte ist wesentlich besser und zu empfehlen. Gebäcktrolleies darf man nicht selbst benutzen, Personal ist aber oft nicht verfügbar oder bei Ab- und Anreise mehrerer Gäste überfordert.

From the check in to check out everything was perfect. Hotel is well maintained, updated, clean, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast and of course lovely beach right Infront of the hotel. Geography of the place is something else as Italy (Trieste) and Croatia (Porec, Rovinj) are short drive away.

Bästa hotellet om man vill ha tillgång till medelhavet. Bra med solplatser direkt vid havet. Vänlig personal, kanske inte de mest effektiva i baren vid poolen, några prioriterar smådisk framför att ta ens beställning. Frukost- och middagsbuffen var ok men inte i klass med 5-stjärnigt. Rekommenderar i så fall ta middag ute vid Piran istället. Frukosten var bättre än middagen. Fint rum med fantastisk utsikt. Något överpris med tanke på att det inte riktigt klassades som 5 stjärnor enligt mig.

Wifi hat im Zimmer nicht funktioniert. Mitarbeiter wirken teils unmotiviert und unfreundlich. Frühstück enttäuschend, Ausnahme das Omelett von der Omelett Dame ;) .. Am ersten Tag war keine Cafe/Bar offen am Strand. Wir haben uns von einem 5* Hotel mehr erwartet. Strand mit Liegen und Sonnenschirm OK

Easy check in. Lose to city center. Very friendly staff. Nice view from room.

Wir bekamen leider ein Zimmer mit Verbindungstür. Die Gäste nebenan waren teilweise sehr laut. Auch die Balkontür konnte man in der Nacht nicht offen lassen, da laut Musik gespielt wurde. Balkon und Aussicht auf das Meer waren toll. Im Zimmer wären Wasserkocher, Kaffee und Tee nett gewesen. Trotz 5* gab es das nicht. Das Frühstücksbuffet ließ keine Wünsche offen. Hier wird man mehr als satt. Top: gratis Parkplätze. Den Indoor-Pool hatten wir sehr gerne genutzt, doch leider schafften wir es zeitlich nicht. Er ist nur bis 20 Uhr geöffnet.

This was our first visit to Piran and to the Grand Hotel Bernardin. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. We encountered several rude staff immediately upon arrival. The front desk staff did not offer a welcome and performed their duties completely detached from any level of hospitality and professionalism. There were no smiles, and no effort to make guests feel welcome. After checking in, we discovered the fellow who brought our bags to our room leaning on the bags when we arrived. He appeared upset and impatient although we were only a few minutes behind him. My husband and I felt that we were a big inconvenience to him despite the fact that helping us with our luggage was part of his job. Then we encountered more rude behaviour at the front desk when we asked for directions to the centre of Piran. The fellow who helped us asked which town we wanted to see? We explained we’d like to see the centre of the town we were in. He seemed to make a game of not giving us the simple directions. So, we relied on Google to help us navigate the way. At breakfast I asked one of the restaurant staff where I might find hot water for tea. The female server did not say good morning, did not respond in a friendly manner but yelled out ‘machine’ while pointing at a distance to the coffee machine. Overall, the service at this hotel is a mere notch above hostility. I would hope another Piran hotel would offer better service for tourists interested in discovering Slovenia.

This is by far not a 5 star experience! The staff and services is awful. We placed laundry service and they delayed the return by more then 24 hours, which completely delayed our travel plans and departure to another location. There is no manager on property and in charge. The front desk lady is rude and unprofessional. In addition we had to park our own car and bring our own luggage to the room.

Staff was very good. Kudos to Mr Angel, beach facilities manager for great people's skills and amazing service.

The staff was friendly and efficient. The pool was awesome. And very walkable to Piran with many dining options.

Die Lage ist sehr schön, zu Fuß kann man sowohl Piran als auch Portoroz schnell entdecken .

Loved that it was right on the water and Portoroz and Piran is such a beautiful part of Slovenia.

I cannot recommend this hotel more highly. I wanted to stay in Piran but choose this hotel initially for two reasons: (a) it was walking distance along a promenade to Piran and offered free parking; and (b) it would be staying in a slice of history as the form of the hotel (though not the renovated interiors) harked back to the more brutalist days of the Yugoslav Republic. Then I got there - the staff were unfailingly lovely; the room was big (after several days of tiny rooms); each room has an expansive sea view; the breakfast was out of this world; and it was a beautiful promenade in front of the hotel along the sea. It was really a singular experience and one of the reasons that Piran was a highlight of the trip. My mother (70 yo) felt very poorly on the last night of the trip and was quite ill during the night. As we didn't have to leave to go to the airport until 4pm, I requested a late-check out. Not only did they give my mother the room until 4pm, but they didn't accept extra payment for the additional time in the room. Honestly I can't recommend this hotel more highly!

uns gefällt das Hotel sehr gut. In der Nähe von Portoroz und Piran, sind zu Fuss erreichbar. wunderschöne Gegend. Kann nur jeden empfehlen.

Struttura direttamente sul mare con una vista magnifica.Camere silenziose e ben arredate.Unica pecca il cibo non eccellente, alcune cose sembravano pasti pronti.Le bevande non sono incluse ma a noi non era stato comunicato.Nel complesso un bel soggiorno.

Det var en meget mærkelig oplevelse. Deres morgenmad var decideret uspiselig. Agurkerne smagte af ammoniak, croissanterne havde en mærkelig bismag og kaffen var aldeles udrikkelig (tygflydende). Det eneste ved den overdådige morgenmad, der var værd at røre ved var frugten og danskvand på flaske. Alt andet var så ringe, at vi hver dag gik sultne fra morgenmaden.

Die Struktur ist gut, das Management 2-3 Sterne, das Buffet von unterdurchschnittlicher Qualität, kein a-la-carte Angebot (5 Sterne!), ausserhalb der Essenszeiten (7-11 und 19-21 Uhr!) keinerlei Möglichkeit, etwas zu trinken oder zu essen zu bekommen, kein Roomservice, ...
