The bungalow was quaint, clean, cozy and perfect for our needs! We appreciated having a grill to use and our own little patio area to relax on. The host was kind, easy to communicate with, and responsive. A very enjoyable stay in a great location!

Melanie was the best host and the stay was the best. Kitchen was fully furnished, nice towels in the bath room, washer & dryer was a perfect must have and the neighborhood was adorable. We enjoyed our walks with coffee in the mornings and the proximity of the beach. The outdoor sitting area was an added bonus and we were close to everything we needed in town. Great vacation and will definitely recommend this VRBO.

Property was perfect. Perfect for getaway, perfect distance to beach, perfectly furnished (the most comfortable, soft, float in the clouds matress), all kitchen appliances (coffee maker, Krieger, toaster, blender), immaculately clean and thoughtful finish touches (like little packets of condiments, jellies, sugar and cream), Laundry detergent and dryer sheets, and EXTRA toliet paper, paper towels and trash bags. The managers of this property covered all the bases to make sure we felt personally welcomed and I think they did a wonderful job. Oh, they even asked when they sent the welcome papers if I wanted a late check out to request it and they would see what they could do, so I did and they were able to extend it an hour. They were veery accommodating. We ❤️ our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is very clean and pretty and has everything you need including beach chairs, umbrella and cart. Easy walk to great restaurants. We hope to make it back again.

We enjoyed staying at Beach Walk Bungalow again! It is in a quiet neighborhood and very convenient to the beach and several popular restaurants. We love the private courtyard with chairs and a table and a grill! Owner responds quickly to any questions.

The Beach Bungalow is our favorite place to stay at SSI.Melissa is the best host and works with any request you may have.Nice kitchen with full size refrigerator, coffee maker, a Keurig and supplies to go with each.Beautiful place with great decor. Sitting room, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom with large shower and towels. Beach towels and chairs are provided. There is even a washer and dryer. Reasonable costs as well.We will be back.

This cute apartment is perfect for 2 people and is walking distance to The Crab Trap and Barrier Island Brewery as well as the public beach access near The King and Prince. This was our second time here and the hosts are great. The apartment has a private patio and parking separate from the owners. It is very nicely decorated and updated . The bathroom is a good size with a large shower. This is a very comfortable place to stay.

This location was in the perfect location to walk to several restaurants and walk or drive to the beach. It was so well decorated with comfortable bed, nice bathroom with a closet, and a laundry room. It was on the ground level with a dedicated parking space next to the room so that was perfect for unloading. There was a very nice private little patio with a shade covering and little water feature. The kitchen and living room were a good size for what we needed. It is located on a quiet street off the main roads on the island but convenient to everything. It was the perfect place to stay for 2 people. We will definitely come back to this adorable bungalow.

It was our first visit to SSI and hopefully it won’t be our last! This property was one of our favorite VRBO stays. So adorable! Perfectly appointed and spotless. The beach is just a few minutes away! We enjoyed the use of the beach wagon and loaded it up with the two chairs and umbrella. Melanie was a great host and was quick to respond to any questions I had. We would return to this property next visit .

This was a perfect get away spot for me and my husband. The location is ideal- we were able to walk just about everywhere. The space was exactly as described. We felt like we were the first ones to stay, it was so clean and beautifully decorated! Highly recommend

I am a long time (30+ years) and frequent (4-5x per year) visitor to the island. I have stayed at many different places. Melanie's home ranks in my top 2! Pros: Immaculately clean - hands down the cleanest place I have stayed in. Very well-appointed (especially bath and kitchen). Comfortable furniture, bed, and linens. The space and furnishings appear to be new - zero wear. Private, off-street parking and private courtyard entrance. Excellent location - walk to beach, pier/downtown, restaurants. Quiet and peaceful. Cons: None. Literally none. I came on a solo trip with the intention of recharging. I left after seven days feeling like I had accomplished my goal, despite having to work three of those days. The home is welcoming and has a peaceful, zen feeling. Melanie (and her family) are delightful and attentive, while being very respectful of their guests privacy. I felt like I could have texted or called at any time should I have needed anything. I hope I have the opportunity to stay here again in the future!

Beautiful place. Very clean and nice neighborhood. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. We rented a golf cart and went all around the community. The home was close to everything. We would highly recommend staying here.

I'm going to get straight to the point, this stay was the most amazing experience I've had in a while. I'm really impressed! Bed is super comfortable and the shower is AMAZING! Literally can walk to everything which is very convenient!

First visit to SSI… this little apartment was immaculate and very new/modern. Heater wasn’t working great but we had plenty of bedding to keep us warm. Comfy bed, great shower, very quick communication from our gracious host.

Melanie’s place is truly a home away from home. We have stayed twice and intend to actually arrange our visits to kids and grandkids around her property’s availability. It is scrupulously clean, tidy, well-arranged, convenient, secure, and eminently comfortable and quiet. We love cooking in the small and efficient kitchen and the brad is heavenly. The shower area has become a model for our upcoming bath refreshment project. A great place, indeed!

We stayed two weeks. We are older(70 plus). Any issues were immediately addressed. It is close to the ocean and restaurants. Storage is limited, one small closet and chest. There is a compact washer and drier which could ease the situation. I found the furniture on the low side but again I am older . Would be fine for most anyone else! Nice quiet location.

We had a great two week stay at Beach Walk Bungalow. It was a perfect place to stay & enjoy Saint Simons Island. Nicely furnished, well equipped and very comfortable. Bed is excellent. We both slept very well. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, beach. And of course Melanie is a great host!

This was exactly what we were hoping for! We celebrated my birthday, our wedding anniversary and just our summer vacation and this property was absolutely perfect for it all! Walked to the beach everyday so the location was convenient and easy. Melanie was super friendly and very accommodating during our whole stay! She was responsive, helpful and mentioned if we needed anything at all don’t hesitate to reach out. She was a great host! The bungalow was extremely clean and tidy and worked out great for the 2 of us. Would love to come back again in the near future!! Thanks for a great experience at St Simons Island

The property is exactly as advertised, beautifully appointed and cozy. Melanie, the host, was available and proactive in ensuring we had everything we needed. The location is also excellent, with a great selection of local restaurants, a cafe, the Pier Village and the beach all within a short walk from the front door. Highly recommend.

Had a great time on St. Simons while staying in this cute bungalow. Quiet neighborhood within walkable distance to downtown and close to beach access. Particularly liked East beach and Neptune park. Melanie was very accommodating when we had to change our plans last minute. Highly recommend!!

We very much enjoyed this experience- would highly recommend this VRBO for two people. The pictures are very accurate. We loved that we could walk to the beach, restaurants, brewery, lighthouse and more. Great host- easy and friendly communication.
We very much enjoyed this experience- would highly recommend this VRBO for two people. The pictures are very accurate. We loved that we could walk to the beach, restaurants, brewery, lighthouse and more. Great host- easy and friendly communication.

Everything was more than expected and the owner very easy to contact and gave us plenty of information! We especially enjoyed the location, accommodations and private parking right outside our door! Will definitely stay again! Thank you!

This is a convenient location for enjoying the beach or shopping. Everything we could possibly need for our stay was available. Our hosts Ed and Melanie were always available for questions and made us feel very welcome. We had a very relaxing few days. Would definitely rent again from these nice folks. ❤️

We had a great two week stay at Beach Walk Bungalow. It was a perfect place to stay & enjoy Saint Simons Island. Nicely furnished, well equipped and very comfortable. Bed is excellent. We both slept very well. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, beach. And of course Melanie is a great host!

Very clean, Kitchen was fullystocked and it had laundry. Host was friendly and easy to communicate with. Great place to stay in St. Simon. Would definitely stay here again!
