For beginners, we check in and the advertised pool isn’t available. Terribly disappointed in that due to it being one of the main reasons I chose this hotel compared to others since it’s summer in Texas. After getting our keys we went to the elevator and see a sign that says it’s “slow” and we’re welcome to take stairs to the 4th floor if we don’t want to wait. Since I’m recovering from a dislocated kneecap, I decided to wait. This felt like a mistake due to the elevator jerking and shuttering at every floor, on one occasion, the elevator stopped between floors and partially opened and shut immediately. From that point on for the next 4 days I decided to take the stairs and suffer the knee pain rather than risking getting stuck in an elevator for half the day. Oh! They have 2 elevators but one doesn’t work and they seem to be in no rush to fix it or correct the obvious broken one. But the most disgusting part of this hotel was the dead roach or silverfish that was smashed and dead inside the glass panel of the artwork over the toilet. The big screen TV with cable sometimes worked but mostly didn’t. The breakfast wasn’t half bad however they had no bar service as advertised either and their coffee/expresso machine in the bar was broken. Hyatts typically carry the same standards in my eyes as a marriot or a Hilton but this Hyatt seems to be a close cousin to a motel 8 but 5 times the cost for no apparent reason.

Stayed here a few times. Place is always clean. Remote did run out of batteries but staff replaced them. Took them a while finding them but they found some. Elevator is slow. Gym is lame.

Stayed for a business trip. Most all hotels were sold out and this was available. I would not stay here again on my next trip. One of the two elevators was not working and the one that was would take minutes to arrive, it would go very very slow. The front desk person told me that they don’t do daily cleaning but every other day or upon request. After the second day i noticed the room wasn’t clean and i asked, i was then told that its every 3 days. Miscommunication here or misinformation but still, not ideal. Pool was dirty dirty not that it was swimming season but it speaks for the cleanliness and attention to the detail. Tried using the gym which is basically just cardio equipment but that wasn’t working either.

The property is nice and clean. Safe parking and good daily breakfast. I would had given 5 stars expect that the elevators wouldn’t work. Only one elevator is functioning and very slow. Even that elevator was about to break down as it wouldn’t open the door on every floors. I saw elderly from fifth floor trying to use the stairs. with suite cases. Also the swimming pool was not working although it was advertised on the website. I did stay 4 days including 3 business days and no attempt was made to repair the elevator or operate the swimming pool.

The room I was in had mold in the shower, the commode would not flush, the TV would not work, they said due to the weather and the bed was very uncomfortable. I took pictures of everything. When I was checking out the same staff member that checked me out at the front desk, also was setting up for the continental breakfast items. I saw her leave the front counter and walked straight in the buffet area didn't wash her hands, stirring something, lick her fingers and wiped her hand on her clothes and continued the food preparations.

The staff was very nice and accommodating, helping me the best they could. I found a full size cockroach crawling in my room as I was getting ready for bed. Again, the front desk did their best to fix it, but theres little that could’ve been done on their part. Both elevators are terrible/broken and the ice machine didn’t work on my floor (5th). Went down to floor below and got ice, however when I tried calling the elevator I noticed a sign over the buttons that said “they’re broken, please use stairs or call front desk to call the elevator for you” just very very old I don’t think it stands up to other 3 star hotels in the area

We got to our first room and there was hair everywhere all over the bed, floor, bathroom, and sink. We checked the bed and saw the pillowcases were dirty! I went to the shower and it was full of hair and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned! We requested to switch rooms. Second room wasn’t as bad but still some hair, we looked past it. By the time we went to get in bed we pulled back the sheets to lay down and had tiny ants everywhere under the covers! This place is nasty! There is only one elevator that works but was sketchy. The rooms smelt musty. Overall had a terrible stay will never be staying there again!! Was also told the hair had to be from housekeeping. DONT stay here unless you like nasty filthy non cleaned rooms!

Don’t stay here unless you’re traveling by yourself and won’t be spending time on the property other than sleeping. This place is old and showing. Rooms were supposedly renovated but are already show signs of wear. We asked for blankets for the pullout bed and they didn’t have any. Housekeeping never came to clean our room during a 4 night stay. Mold in the shower. Bugs in our room (not bed bugs though). Only half the channels on the TV worked. The one elevator that works is very slow (and struggling) and the other elevator won’t be fixed for months (when they do their lobby renovations which haven’t even started yet) per the employee I spoke with. It’s a 5 story building. They are using duct tape in the elevator to hold the number panel up and to hold together the soap rack in the shower in our room. Only one of the 4 machines in the workout room works. Only positives: Beds are comfortable and Breakfast was decent.

The bathroom is so small you have to step beside the toilet to shut the door. Also, all you hear is traffic all night long from LBJ. The mattress needs to be replaced. Long night and very little sleep.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for three nights, and unfortunately, it didn’t meet our expectations. For a family of four, the room (2 queen beds and a sofa bed) had almost no storage—just two small drawers, which made it hard to stay organized. There were also very few outlets or charging stations, which was frustrating with all our devices. Housekeeping was another major issue. We were told the rooms would be cleaned every two days, but the explanation was unclear. It wasn’t made clear that we had to request the cleaning ourselves, so we assumed it would happen automatically which it didn’t. Even after asking the front desk, no one came during our stay. The room also didn’t have a microwave, and we later found out that only rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors have them. This was a big disappointment, especially since we were staying on the 4th floor. The pool was closed for our entire stay. We were told the city was supposed to come inspect it, but that never happened which was frustrating, especially for our kids who were looking forward to swimming. Lastly, the breakfast was a disappointment. No pancakes or waffles were offered, which are usually hotel breakfast staples and a favorite for our family. On a positive note, the location was good, and the maintenance team and staff were pretty good. We also did lose an item and they found it for us and saved it in the front. Overall it was a decent stay.

Door to adjacent room was thin and we were able to hear the neighboring room conversation past midnight. Additionally, for the size of the room, 2 queen beds, a separate sitting area with a couch, the bathroom was extremely small. You could barely open and close the door without maneuvering around the toilet. Seems like a poor use of space.

This hotel is good for just a quick trip. We were in dallas for some wedding business and simply needed somewhere to shower and sleep. The shower had what looked to be rust or maybe dirt. Only one elevator worked and it was extremely slow. The complimentary breakfast is nice, not the best, but food for some grab and go fruit. Parking is free which is also nice. The loudest ever A/C unit. You can’t sleep when it’s on but when it’s off, the room gets hot. Overall the room was very spacious.
This hotel is good for just a quick trip. We were in dallas for some wedding business and simply needed somewhere to shower and sleep. The shower had what looked to be rust or maybe dirt. Only one elevator worked and it was extremely slow. The complimentary breakfast is nice, not the best, but food for some grab and go fruit. Parking is free which is also nice. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this property. The manager, Moses, was exceptionally accommodating and welcoming. Upon my arrival, he checked me in promptly and provided clear, helpful information about the hotel and my stay. What was initially a short visit turned into a five-day stay, and throughout that time, I found the room to be impeccably clean, quiet, and secure. Every member of the staff I encountered was warm, professional, and eager to assist, which made my experience all the more enjoyable. As my family lives nearby, I fully intend to return in the future. I also appreciated the pleasant conversations I had with Moses and the other front desk staff during my stay, they truly made me feel at home. Oh and I loved seeing the property pet rabbits 😍

Check in was made difficult. Upon booking I called in advanced to make sure I could get late check in. The lady I spoke with said we could check in at anytime. After driving 6 hours through the night I was turned down at check in. The front desk stated that we didn’t call and I would have to wait an additional hour to check in. Overall extremely inconvenient, if I knew this was going to happen I would of spent my money else where.

It was a late night decision to check in. I had moved from Arizona to Texas and i was sooooo tired after the long drive. Booked a room and Damien was so amazing 👏 They made me feel like I was important and I appreciated them for all their efforts in getting me in the parking gate and in the room. People always tell when you are not doing good. This time Damien I want you to know you are appreciated and I thank you.

Our adult son was in a nearby hospital for cancer treatment and this hotel was very close and convenient. After we booked, I read several bad reviews and was worried that we had made a mistake but this was a spur of the moment trip and we decided to hope for the best. We couldn’t be more pleased. Staff was so nice and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. It was a nice place to stay during our son’s treatments. Parking was free and convenient. Breakfast was okay, not the best, but included in price of room which was reasonable for location and convenience. Will stay there again on next trip. We did a review on the hotels site as well and the manager reached out to see how our son is doing. That speaks volumes to us.

Staff was not friendly when we checked in, very little information given. Seemed like they were doing us a favor letting us stay here. Stayed here before and had remodel going but in the rooms they still look the same, just older and little dirtier in the hallways, rooms and outside. Overall considered I will not stay here again.

Booked 1 Room, 2 Queen Beds (High Floor, With Sofa Bed) Was given a king room on the 3rd floor. Went to the front desk and the front desk representative kept stating you have a pull out bed. Excuse me I paid for 2 queen beds to ensure that everyone would be comfortable. Asked to be moved was told they were booked but I could possibly be moved the next morning. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. Had to get an air mattress. Had to call the front desk several times to get fresh towels. Placed dirty towels outside the door the towels were not replaced. Very disappointed I have never had any issues

The property was located right off the freeway and easy to drive into. It has a gated parking area for guests. We enjoyed the beds, they were so comfortable! The room was nice and clean upon arrival. The ac was on and worked great during our entire stay. The room was a decent size for us and we enjoyed the couch area to relax. I would definitely return and also would recommend.

The beds were pillow top and that's what we have at home, so very nice. The hotel was close to quite a bit of fast food places, Costco and other stores and gas stations. It is also located right by the high five.

The fire alarm went off 3 different times throughout the day for unknown reason. No fire noted by staff. Pro: Costco is across the street. Buffet dining options near by both sit down and fast food. There were 2 elevators and only 1 worked. This caused long waiting time to get up and down to the room and back to the lobby. I didn’t feel our cars were safe outside the gated parking. Apparently there was a computer upgrade and customers waited 20-30 minutes to check in. I waited 40 min just to get a new towel and coffee for the room. Breakfast was less than desirable on Friday. The sausage was well done and the eggs and French toast sticks wouldn’t feed to my dog. The yogurt was warm. Another variety of bagel would be nice too.

I would not recommend this property. It was the worst experience we’ve had at a Hyatt Place. Public area: The lobby was hot, the elevators didn't work properly. The breakfast was absolutely terrible. The food options were awful. The eggs and sausage were tasteless. I had to request yogurt and they put it in front of me in a huge serving bowl. When I asked for cream cheese for a bagel the front lady was annoyed that I didnt know where it was. Hotel room: it was clean when we arrived, a little humid. However even after requesting it to have the garbage taken out and clean towels it was never done. NOT ONCE did they come to clean it; thought I saw the front desk lady write our number. She told us they didn't clean rooms only upon request. I tried to use the Iron for my clothes but the iron literally fell apart. I asked a cleaning lady for another and she said oh we dont have anymore… but well look for one. She brought one… also didnt look in good shape. Front reception: Was absolutely awful. One night a receptionist was smoking outside while I waited for towels, two other people were also waiting for her. In the morning a receptionist was annoyed when I asked for my room to be serviced. The prices on water bottles were insane! $4.50 for a bottle of water! Save yourself dont stay here it was an awful experience.

People at registration desk were fine. Our shower stall was plugged and would have overflowed if we had not turned off the shower. Breakfast was fair at best. Sausages made me sick and there are too many people crowded into the entire lobby at breakfast time.

Great place, I think we were there the wrong week. It was too hot. Walked in the Lobby, had to wait for 10min, till someone showed up to check us in, no one at the front desk. It was hot inside, I guess AC was not working in the lobby area. Our AC unit was not cooling our room, stayed around 70 degree in our room, had the temperature down 60 degree, but didn’t cool down while we were in there, didn’t want to complain since we were only going to be there one night. Just too closed to freeway, our room is not sound proof, hear everything all night. Ok, place.
