The hotel was in a good clean condition. We had a bed and breakfast booking. Deciding what you could have for breakfast that was included in your booking was not easy. The breakfast menu didn’t really cater for vegetarians. When I tried to mix and match I was charged extra. We like to travel around by bus the reception couldn’t tell us where the bus stop was and suggested we got a taxi. Overall I would suggest the manager trains his staff to be more consistent as we had to ask for our room to be cleaned. Hopefully these issues when addressed would make this a hotel worth staying in as the location was good being outside Charlston

Our overnight stay at the Hotel Indigo was fantastic. A family member had an early morning procedure at MUSC and it was super close to the hospital. The hotel was clean & beautiful, comfortable, and the front desk ladies were exceptional!! I gave the review 3 stars for the amenities solely because of our disappointing experience at the restaurant. The service was nonexistent. We arrived to the hotel around 6PM after driving for almost 2 hours. It was pouring rain, there were flooding advisories & we were not familiar with the area. We had to leave at 5:30AM to be at the hospital. Going to grab dinner was not ideal. After trying to find the restaurant phone number, I went down to the bar to place an order and wait on it. The bar staff never once acknowledged me and I never saw another waiter. I stood by the register at the bar, where 3 bartenders were back and forth. After a few minutes of standing there, another patron came up and asked if I was in line...I said yes. Again, the bartenders were right on the other side of the bar, using the register and serving other people. The bartenders came to her & helped her with what she needed, I assumed she was a regular and they knew what she needed. I was not addressed. I grabbed a menu from the bar near the register to look at it, and still I was never addressed. I tried to make eye contact indicating that I wanted to order. I ended up leaving without ever being spoken to. I'm hoping this is not always the experience.

The hotel was great. Perfect location if you don’t want to be downtown. Close to king street, Mount pleasant and easy to get to. Pool area was clean and nice vibe. I only had breakfast at Eliza’s but it was good. Nice bar area too. Nothing bad to say!
