Excellent stay, my room was nice and clean room. My tub spa experience in my room was amazing. Even though it was a cold stay, I was provided with extra heating and blankets as disabled couple. Sauna and stem was perfect, nice swimming pool but could have been warmer/ only criticism. Breakfast was good. I will definitely book here again.

Very old and tired. If room is facing the main road, be prepared to hear the traffic till early morning. There is no air conditioning just a fan given in the room. Bet old worn out carpets and cracked toilet and bath tub. Swimming pool is very small and shallow. The steam room is not hot enough and both sauna and steam room are small. From the pool, you need to walk through the gym to get to the sauna area. No robe is provided.

Lovely stay here. Pool entry is complimentary on your stay. The room was a good size, bedding was comfy. We were upgraded on the house also and got a lovely sea view.

Hotel is in a good location but the parking is expensive, rhe room had a good view of the pier and sea, which makes up for it, good breakfast and good food in general. Would stay again, but for the parking, a parking subsidy would be nice

A comfortable hotel with a fantastic central location on the seafront with superb sea views. The hotel does not have its own car park. Nearby parking was extremely expensive (£40.50 per day)!

We arrived on friday, the facilities in my sea biew room had coffee. The made a coffee and drunk it, it came to my attention that the make was off. I checked the sell by date and it was 2019. I confronted the manage and they kindly gave us a drinks voucher. The on the Saturday I had a bath and was resting in my room. The head board was so dirty it stuck to my head. I personally cleaned off part with one of my hand towels. I call the manager and he/she cleaned it off and said they will refund me for my room. Which to date I have not received refund. Also found dead flies on window frames.

This hotel had wonderful views and the staff were very friendly. However the condition of the hotel was pretty worn. The beds were not very comfortable and the sofa bed mattresses were super uncomfortable. Our room generally needs some TLC. The bathroom door didn’t close all the way, the carpets were really stained, and all the furniture was pretty dated.

Sadly we did not get any sleep due to the noise outside till 5am!!! It was terrible You need double glazing windows!! The carpet in our room 200 was very badly stained and the bathroom had paint all in the bath and mould on the tiles!!

We had an amazing few days in Brighton. The hotel was wonderful , our room was huge, spotless & the beds were very comfortable! The hotel is in a perfect location and we could walk to all tourist attractions. I would definitely recommend staying here

The room was very clean, bed comfy. It looked like it had recently been decorated. Some of the furniture could do with a little TLC but functional. Bathroom immaculate. The hotel itself was tidy and clean but again in need of some TLC. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, very nice. Staff were all helpful and very polite. All in all it was a very pleasant stay.

I really like this hotel - bathroom could do with an upgrade though and more attention to detail in room cleanliness. Lovely clean bed. Mould on curtain linings. Deep clean needed in bathroom. Overall I love the Queen's and would happily stay again. Good staff.☺️

The hotel was in a good location, right in the seafront and close to the pier. It was fairly clean, but a little run down and old fashioned. The windows are single glazed and wooden framed and run with condensation when it’s cold outside. Due to the thin windows and our room (215) being directly opposite a club, there was noise, especially at 4am on Sunday morning when I presume the club kicked out! Overall good hotel but expected a little better for the price.

Close to everything which was why I chose it. Building is obviously old and the bathroom has seen better days as has some of the furniture, but the room was clean and breakfast was good. Views of the ocean are great!

I was in 217 backing on to Platinum lace nightclub. The noise from the club kept me awake from 0130 to 0400. Very loud music and lots of people shouting in the street - smoking. It was continuous. Really awful and would not stay again unless guaranteed a sea view well away from the nightclub. Apart from that my room was nice, very spacious. Rather cold though as only one tiny radiator.

My first night was a bit grim. My room overlooked a couple of clubs and was incredibly noisy all night. The wonderful reception staff (Liz in particular) managed to move me for the rest of my stay and they did me proud. The hotel itself is clean, and my room was quiet, spacious, with loads fo wardrobe space, a comfy be and hot shower. The hotel is well situated - right on the seafront and backing onto the Lanes. Perfect.

Shower worked well and tv had YouTube but the furniture was worn there was deterioration due to age throughout the room with curtains off books, windows falling apart and a general stale smell. Not cheap at £160 p/n without breakfast.

Considering our room overlooked a very busy club and pub, the noise was blocked out and we’d have never had known ( got up for a wee and the bathroom window wasn’t sound proofed to showed how good the room windows were at 3am!). Great location. Bathroom looked tired and in need of redecoration but the bedroom was clean, large and well decorated. Will come again.

If you book the family room, be aware that there is a step right after you walk in. My elderly mother fell twice, hitting the bed as she landed on the floor. Aside from this, the breakfast is excellent and the location is great.

The hotel staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Our room had a sea view, which was a lovely way to start our day. The only complaint we have is that the WiFi in Room 209 was very weak and we frequently lost signal.

Good location, Fast WiFi. Rooms are spacious and clean, they actually smelled nice. I was disappointed that there was no AC or fridge in the room considering that it was a family room and we had a baby and an autistic child whose food needed to be stored; and also for the price we paid . We spoke to staff about it and they told us that we could t have access to the kitchen. They gave us a medical fridge that couldn't even store a water bottle 😩 we checked in our second room around 4:30pm because it wasn't ready. however our room attendant was nice and very helpful and we enjoyed the leisure activities. We were also able to store our luggage in a safe room after check out until we left the hotel around 6pm.

We had a brilliant time staying at this property. When we checked in our initial room wasn’t quite what we expected, we called reception and they promptly sorted this out giving us an amazing room. Absolutely fantastic staff and service. Will come back here again : )

Receiving an upgrade on arrival was such a surprise and was delightful! The suite was spacious, spotless and comfortable. The staff including the night porter at 3AM were super friendly and helpful. Facilities were outstanding.

We go to Brighton yearly for the Racing Festival and this was the first time we stopped at Queens Hotel. It was lovely. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. The room when we went in was bigger than I expected, with everything in it. Very clean and a beautiful uninterrupted view of the sea. (We've lived for 70 years in the heart of England, only seeing the sea when we go away). Kettle, Iron & Board, lovely thick fluffy towels, nice pillows and a firm bed, finishing with blackout curtains. A big fan in the wardrobe along with a safe and hairdryer. The shower wasn't the most powerful, but was adequate. I did have problems getting out of the bath (after having a shower the first day,) as I'm not tall, but managed the other days, Breakfast was plentiful, choosing from a full English to Continental, although you did have to hunt around the shelves for different items. Also Oat Milk, which was brilliant. Two lifts going up to the rooms, one or two people with walking sticks and a couple of rollators who didn't seem to have problems. Slightly noisy, but as we have always stopped on the sea front, we take our ear plugs with us. Very close to the pier and within walking distance of the Lanes and Churchill Shopping Centre. We go to Brighton yearly for the Racing Festival and this was the first time we stopped at Queens Hotel. It was lovely. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. The room when we went in was bigger than I expected, with everything in it. Very clean and a beautiful uninterrupted view of the sea. (We've lived for 70 years in the heart of England, only seeing the sea when we go away). Kettle, Iron & Board, lovely thick fluffy towels, nice pillows and a firm bed, finishing with blackout curtains. A big fan in the wardrobe along with a safe and hairdryer. The shower wasn't the most powerful, but was adequate. I did have problems getting out of the bath (after having a shower the first day,) as I'm not tall, but managed the other days, Breakfast was plentiful, choosing from a full English to Continental, although you did have to hunt around the shelves for different items. Also Oat Milk, which was brilliant. Two lifts going up to the rooms, one or two people with walking sticks and a couple of rollators who didn't seem to have problems. Slightly noisy, but as we have always stopped on the sea front, we take our ear plugs with us. Very close to the pier and within walking distance of the Lanes and Churchill Shopping Centre. Plenty of places to eat near, and a few 'interesting pubs'!! Next time we stop (as we will go back for the racing next year, we are going to have a Tower Room. Thanks to Dom for taking me around ❤️.

Even though the shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom wasn’t great the overall standard of the hotel and the exceptional service from the staff was second to none, The maids ensured our room was immaculate on a daily basis and the receptionist (Dom) was very friendly and also extremely helpful. We planned to go to Scotland after our holiday in Brighton. However thanks to him we extended to stay for another 4 nights. We were impressed by all of the staff within the hotel. We had a very beautiful room with sea view. We will certainly be staying here again.

Arrived to check in at 3.30 and was told room wasn’t ready despite it clearly saying on website check in is from 3 and there being a queue of people checking in. We were told check in was between 3-4 and to go out for half hour. No apology or offer of a drink while we wait. When we went back at 4 the receptionist had to phone to check room was ready and practically threw the key at us stating room number. We had to ask him where we were going. Room itself was ok but the windows are so dated and the wind was so bad it was like we were in a tent in Scotland. Bathroom was really dated. Great location but that’s it. Wouldn’t go back.

The hotel was in a good location, right in the seafront and close to the pier. It was fairly clean, but a little run down and old fashioned. The windows are single glazed and wooden framed and run with condensation when it’s cold outside. Due to the thin windows and our room (215) being directly opposite a club, there was noise, especially at 4am on Sunday morning when I presume the club kicked out! Overall good hotel but expected a little better for the price.

My first night was a bit grim. My room overlooked a couple of clubs and was incredibly noisy all night. The wonderful reception staff (Liz in particular) managed to move me for the rest of my stay and they did me proud. The hotel itself is clean, and my room was quiet, spacious, with loads fo wardrobe space, a comfy be and hot shower. The hotel is well situated - right on the seafront and backing onto the Lanes. Perfect.

Perfect location, walking distance to main attractions. Family room is very spacious and view from the room is fantastic . The hotel is somewhat old and weary, but it is spotless clean and staff are friendly. Parking in the city is quite pricy, but you can’t blame it for such a nice harbour city. As the hotel is at a main road along the beach, it can be a little noisy when traffic passing by during night.

Booked for one night visit in Brighton. Greeted very warmly by Dom who let us checkin earlier than stated and kindly assigned a room with sea views. Road is quite busy so noise could be an issue for some but as it was a week night it did not bother us. Pool is a huge bonus and again staff very friendly. Room was a little dated as other reviews have mentioned but hotel has character and is right on the seafront so we were very happy overall. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in a great position. We had a promenade/sea view room. All the staff were very helpful and breakfast was good, the only thing missing was black pudding! We had evening meal on first night which was very nice, just realised afterwards we were overcharged. The room is on a corner of side street with pub and late night takeaway, so some noise from those.Good location for the attractive Lanes area and shopping, bus station and railway station. Near to pier and Sealife.

The Queens is beautifully located. The Team is welcoming and friendly. Our room was wonderful and we used the pool, steam and sauna all imaculately clean. We had a great time over two nights. Lack of room service is a bit of a pity and the tapas we had on night two left much to be desired. Summary: wallow in the hotel's friendly ambiance and superb location and eat elsewhere!

Lovely stay, staff friendly and very helpful, we had an issue with our room quickly and smoothly room changed, New room clean and lovely only thing is room very hot fan supplied however cable so sort it wouldn’t reach anywhere near the beds and with the limited plugs. But this would not us staying in the future. Good choice of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, water in the room. Breakfast was amazing, one of the best, the sausages appeared proper butchers nice ones, mushrooms lovely, even fried bread, fruit yogurt, pastry’s all lovely. Pool was lovely and wonderful addition to our stay, the only issue I have is I wished we stayed longer Thank you

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Enrique took time to solve our room issue and find alternate accommodation for us. All quickly and efficiently done. We used their dining facilities while there. The food was never served hot but did taste fine, however the Nachos as a main course was dry and there was hardly any cheese. We were disappointed to find the croissants at breakfast were mini size and a bit tough when trying to prise open !! The location of the hotel was ideal to get around by foot and we had a lovely sea view from our bedroom window. Overall, we will still use this place and next time we will bring our swimsuits to use their fitness facilities!!

Friendly staff, good sized room. Slight issue with old bathroom door, and was a bit upset that the bar area really made a thing of cleaning up and closing from 9.20 pm onwards, a bit off putting. Otherwise a good stay, large, friendly hotel.

Was a lovely old building in its day. Rooms are very dated but clean. Breakfast staff seemed more concerned about time than making sure their guests were happy. I asked for a couple of veggie sausages. These came out cremated. You wouldn't give them to a dog.

The hotel is dated, but overall ok. The reception staff are nice and helpful. The restaurant staff really nice too. The location is brilliant and in general I would stay again. The only big downside is the breakfast though - it just really, really wasn’t nice!

The excellent staff, breakfast, and hospitality is overshadowed by the fact that there is a loud open club directly across from the hotel that goes on to 2 or 3am. If you want a sea view, you have to put up with that other factor. I only had about 3 hours of sleep a night.

The room was pleasant and it good to have a desk to work on. Staff were friendly. Unfortunately there was a lot of noise outside the hotel. I’m not sure if I would go back to due to this, I was on a business trip and had an early start. If I was there for a visit with friends it would have been fine
