My family and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and supportive. We enjoyed using the sauna and the indoor pool. It was cleaned and smelt wonderful. For breakfast, there was a wide range of options to choose from. The location is ideal close to restaurants the Sea life aquarium and Brighton Pier. As a guest it was great that we got a discount for parking.

We stay here every time we visit Brighton. Location is perfect as you’re in walking distance from the pier, shops, IKEA, Brighton Centre. Full use of the gym down stairs including pool, sauna and steam room. All beds are king size and comfortable. rooms have shower over baths or walk in showers. Superior rooms have fridges. The breakfast has a vast selection from cooked, omelettes, fruit, pastries, cereals and yogurts. There is a restaurant.

I was upgraded to a lovely large room on the side of the hotel such that I had a side view of the beach. The window was dirty that first evening but the following day the window cleaners were out and I got to experience the glorious view. Perfect location of hotel backing on to the Lanes and in front with the promenade. Rooms clean and very comfortable beds.. Reception staff very helpful. Breakfast was decent - good veggie sausages, nice freshly cooked omelette and pancakes. Fresh fruit options could have been better and greek yoghurt tasted a bit off. Service was a bit sluggish in the restaurant albeit friendly. Leisure area was small given such a large busy hotel - swimming pool, sauna and steam room were small but reasonably clean (the odd plaster and unfortunately beds all wet). Tiny gym where equipment was a bit rusty and dated. Slippers to use poolside would have been helpful (none in room either). Hotel gives you a slight discount on car park fares (underground from hotel but private car park) which are extortionate. Overall a fair experience.

Absolutely loved my stay! The room was spotless and stocked with loads of amenities, and reception was happy to provide anything extra. I used the gym and pool a lot — the gym is small but has everything you need, and everyone there was so friendly. The pool was busy (it was a Saturday!), but still great. Gorgeous hotel. Couldn’t fault a thing.

Nice hotel in a great position on the waterfront. Quiet at night. Gym and pool is open to locals so is really overcrowded at the weekend. I also need to mention a staff member call Jasmin who was maybe a cleaner, long pink hair. She is an absolute superstar and was so friendly and helpful every time we saw her. Hope management appreciate her efforts

Great location just opposite the beach, with The Lanes behind. Two entrances which was very useful. Car parking underneath the hotel was a bonus. Wonderful views in restaurant. Very helpful staff. Negatives - bathrooms small. Would be better with just a shower not a bath. Running machines in gym looked very old and space was very tight. Lift didnt go through to the gym/pool so you had to walk through the lobby which needed to move one of the sofas to make access easier to get across to the lifts.

Fantastic location. Lovely comfortable room. The pool and health club facilities make this hotel a better offer than others in the neighbourhood. Would definitely stay again.

Very friendly staff. Room was average. Swimming pool and spa were very overcrowded. Breakfast was tasty with great choices

Seaview given for extra £31 per night was poor as windows were dirty and probably not cleaned for a while.breakfast was average as certain items either over cooked or not enough fresh.needs sound proofing on walls as noisy and items promised but not given.also wi for issues.tilrs in shower area were mouldy and room walls stained.😡😡

The lock on the bathroom door was broken which meant we couldn’t lock the door. There was mould in the bathroom. The breakfast bar was under staffed & when asked for something the staff never wanted to help as they were busy doing something else. The lifts were out of order & they turned off the internet in the morning of check out.

I loved this hotel. It was spotlessly clean and the room was amazing. The staff was so friendly and helpfull and the breakfast was so good with so much to choose from would highly recommend this hotel I will definitely be coming backa again

blood stained sheet on bed. We demanded they changed it. After stains on second set we were moved to upgradedroom

The room was very little compared to the advertisement. The bathroom has mould around bath taps and bathroom sealant. Dirty carpet. Not enough water in room. Check in and check out is too early, for what we paid we didn't even stay 24 hours.

The room we stayed in had stains on the carpets and dusty carpet. The carpet was off putting. The room number is 139, apart from that the rest of the room was reasonable

Excellent location. Reception and atrium area when entering had the wow factor and was very light, airy and spacious. Helpful and professional reception staff. We booked a superior king room. The room was very clean and had a Nespresso machine with complimentary capsules which was a nice touch. Bottled water was also provided.The bed was comfortable. However, it was also very dark, with limited daylight as it overlooked the atrium. We consider that it should be pointed out on booking engines when a booked room is internal. The wifi was stable and reliable. A hardback book on Brighton was provided in the room which was useful. That said, a complimentary local map which you could take out and about with you would have been helpful. There were no USB charger ports; Premier Inn and other budget hotels provide these and you would expect these in a hotel of this standard. The bathroom was poor. Unlike most hotels of a similar standard, hair conditioner was not provided, there was no hand shower with flexible hose and it came with a 1970s style shower curtain. Again, for a hotel like this you would expect a glass screen. The wash basin had several cracks (room 259) and had we fully closed the bathroom door we would have woken up the whole corridor. The swimming pool with steam room and sauna were excellent, with towels and lockers provided and friendly helpful staff.

The only pro to this hotel is the location (seafront hotel) and swimming pool. Mould on the bathtub, sink was filthy, mattress topper/bedsheet were yellow, stains all over the carpet, and window in the room did not open. Overall, the condition (considering it is a 4* hotel) was awful and moved rooms twice. We’ve never put a bad review online before but please be cautious if you do not want to stay somewhere with cleanliness issues. To believe this Saturday, it would cost £600 for a night

We enjoyed our stay, the suite was a little dirty but when we pointed out windows etc the cleaners attended to it straight away. Location was great

It's a nice hotel, right on the seafront. The reception staff were lovely . The family room was pretty small but still perfect for us to have two double beds next to each other. The beds were super comfy and we had a great sleep. Nice that there is a pool & sauna to use during your stay.

Just one night. Beds were comfortable. No armchairs. TV very hard to get to channels from Guide which in itself took an age to achieve. Very convenient location. Overall not a bad choice of hotel but there was nothing that would drive us to stay there again.

The staff were excellent but don't stay in a seafront room at the weekend as the bar on the beach opposite plays very, very loud music until 3 am, so you will not get any sleep.

Great location across the beach. Room was spacious and clean aside from a carton of opened juice in the mini fridge. The only window in the room faced the indoor courtyard, we would have preferred a window with an outdoor view. At night until around 10:30/11:00pm we could hear music but could not tell if that was from within the premises or from a nearby establishment. Staff were friendly and professional. Overall a good stay but will look for a hotel in a quieter area in the future.

Good large size room with large bed!

Not good. Heating/air con system in room not working. Stains in radiator and curtains. Lots of wear and tear. Waiting for refund from you via hotel manager

We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions. The hotel is nice enough and we always found the staff to be helpful and polite. If you stay here you are really paying for the location. I can't comment on the food because we never eat in the hotel as there are so many other options nearby. My only criticisms are that they insist on pumping an overpowering perfume smell into the corridors which made me feel a bit sick. Also you will hear noise from the road or the town which ever room your in, so probably best to bring some ear plugs.

We were really impressed with this hotel. We stayed for one night when attending an event in Brighton. I received a phone call on arrival day from Jerome who was incredibly helpful, and even organised gifts for my friend who was celebrating her birthday during our trip. He also followed up afterwards to make sure we had a good time. The service from everyone at the hotel was exceptional, the room was clean and extremely well appointed, it was just a little warm during the night (even with air con - and this was February!) We didn’t try the restaurant. The lift directly from the Lanes car park was very handy too!

I loved this hotel. It was spotlessly clean and the room was amazing. The staff was so friendly and helpfull and the breakfast was so good with so much to choose from would highly recommend this hotel I will definitely be coming backa again

I ended up booking this property on short notice late night when the lifts stopped working at my original property next door (disabled guest) and the agents at Leonardo were kind, helpful, sympathetic and even gave me an amazing room upgrade after all the distress of dealing with the previous property for hours. They went above and beyond to assist me and ensure my family and I were comfortable for the 2 days we were there and I am beyond grateful for the way they treated me and my situation. Beyond that amazing initial introduction to the hotel, the rooms were gorgeous and clean, the property was impeccable and their signature scent radiated throughout the property, their lifts worked and the location could not be any better. 10/10 Leonardo has won me over because of their people-centred approach.

The whole experience was fabulous from checkin to checkout. The staff were all helpful and engaged the room was immaculate and the bed was so comfortable.

All the staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly, both the front desk staff and those behind the scenes. Jake, thank you for taking the time to reply to our pre-arrival messages and for looking after our two family bookings. We really enjoyed the vibe at the hotel, and the location is perfect for families. The pool was great for the kids at the end of the day, as well as before heading out for dinner. We will definitely be back.

Lovely upgrade, great view, helpful staff

Really lovely hotel, only stayed one night but the room was very clean and up to date. Bed was very comfortable and there was no noise from outside. Very well placed for the car park and an easy walk to The Laines etc. Staff welcoming and helpful, especially with the car park.

Lovely stay. The location is perfect with shopping, restaurants, the beach and pier all within a short walking distance.

Really nice, modern hotel right next to everything. Go out the front door and you are at the beach and next to Brighton Pier - go out the back door and you are in "The Lanes" where there are a lot of specialty shops and restaurants. Convenient parking below the hotel. Highly recommend for a stay in Brighton.

The staff were all very helpful and pleasant, the room was spotless, the position of the hotel is excellent having the sea on one side and the lanes on the other. Breakfast was also very good indeed: lots of variety.

Fantastic room with plenty of glasses and cups. TV had built in Chromecast so streaming Netflix was a breeze. Amazing choice of food and drink at breakfast.

One of the waiter in the breakfast dining. Is rude. Telling my husband off of not allowing him to change table to eat his breakfast . The dining service should be trained to be friendly

The room was spacious and clean with all the amenities expected. Hotel is quiet and staff are friendly. Breakfast is poor. There wasn’t enough staff on the cover the floor. Customers were clearing their own tables whilst the two girls stood around. The other lady who I assumed to be a manager wasn’t being very helpful with clearing tables. She was very good at delegating but not actually doing the job herself. The breakfast area was untidy when we arrived just after 9.30. For what you expect at a Leonardo the service at breakfast was poor. Even though it’s a buffet you need to know how many tables you have before saying to people just help yourself. We managed to find one, however we had to share it with another couple. Not what you want at breakfast. It left me feeling disappointed with the stay and ruined the good work of the check in team the day before.

Lovely hotel, foyer really impressive. Lovely swimming pool and the hotel smelt lovely and it was clean. The only let down was the cooked breakfast wasn’t great at all.

The breakfast was the worst l've ever had anywhere. Not worth 50 pence... Absolutely cold and disgusting !...

On the seafront - very reasonably priced for position. Staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast delicious and so much choice, room was a good size and clean.
