Fresh, clean with attentive staff, mini shop & areas to take nice pictures in the hotel lobby adding to a memorable hotel stay. Convenient location with train station & town centre within walking distances. Minor faults noticed such as loose shampoo bottle lid but comfortable beds & warm rooms. Hot showers for a spa like experience with changeable shower head settings. Bathtub is too small/ shallow for a proper soaking. Othersise, cozy & comfortable stay.

Nice bar and resturant area- good food and drink options. The bar staff were great. The foyer and bar are really nicely decorated and gay friendly. Car park opposite with discount is helpful. All good points. Really, this should be a 3 star hotel. Hair on the toilet seat, stain on carpet, decor quite tired/budget in the room. Card key didn't work (repeatedly) for the elevator. Staff not that friendly at check in etc. Bar staff said you could charge drink to your room, but no-one at reception (including managment) knew how to organise this. Over all quite underwhelming and travel lodge or IBS (cheaper options) are just as good if not better. So okay, but not worthy of 4 stars in our experience.

Generally a good stay, the extra mood lighting in the bar area was nice and it was good to see the lobby doors weren’t constantly open.

Nice modern hotel with comfy room, great location for exploring, really good breakfast. Food and drink choices were good. Lobby/bar area could get a little cool with the doors keep opening, probably could do with an air curtain.

Lovely welcome on arrival, explained the parking etc. Room could have done with a hoover, the tv didn’t work. The bar area is vast and worked well but there was a horrible noise every so often allegedly from the HVAC. Slightly disappointed on returning from the event we went to we were greeted with a member of the bar staff who was very happy to tell us we couldn’t get a drink while she put the shutters down on the bar. Rubbish end to the night. Think this hotel is expensive for the location and having to pay for parking. Won’t be staying here again.

If driving to the hotel then when you arrive at the side of the hotel go straight into the car park. THE ROAD AT THE FRONT OF HOTEL IS NO ACCESS AND A CAMERA COLLECTING NUMBER PLATE FOR POTENTIAL FINE OF £100. The hotel is clean and friendly. When you are departing you will get 2 or 3 knocks at the door from 10am reminding you that departure time is 11am.

Be careful if you arrive by car. The front entrance is in a strict no access zone which is only for taxis so you will likely get a ticket. My room had not been vacuumed or the furniture wiped down. The bed was made and the bathroom was clean so I said nothing plus I arrived at 9pm.

- The air conditioning appeared to be faulty and made an unusual noise throughout the night as did the bathroom sink taps following use of them - There was hair in the bath and on the bathroom floor - The curtains did not close properly - The TV signal kept failing intermittently - There were unsightly stains on the carpet, possibly blood? - The decor was in poor condition - After parking, we were informed at the reception desk that we were entitled to a parking discount, but had not received prior notification of this. We have stayed at other branches of this hotel and have always been very happy with our hotel experience. Sadly it was not the case on this occasion.

Upon arrival, I found the bathroom to be in an unacceptable condition. It had clearly not been cleaned properly—there were bodily hairs all over the floor and covering the non-slip mat, which was extremely off-putting, especially as I was preparing to bathe my child. Additionally, the room itself was very dated. The bed sheets were torn, and the curtains were visibly dirty, which added to an overall sense of neglect and discomfort during our stay.

Good location right next to Brighton station however not at all worth the price. The rooms not only need a serious upgrade, but there was rust and mold in the bathroom, stains on the headboard, carpet & furniture. Better off paying a little more for a nicer hotel.

Location was excellent, just at the back of train station. We could leave the luggage earlier on check in day and leave for storage at check out day. Receptionists very helpful. Breakfast was ok. Scrambled eggs were watery and bacon didn’t taste nice. Otherwise sausage, baked beans, fried eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes good. Nice bread and couple of pastries, couple of juices apple and orange. Good coffee which was nice! Bedroom- beds comfortable, and crispy clean bedding. Couple of sticky stains on bedside table. Air conditioning unit had error sign showing, we have informed the receptionist, but she wasn’t really interested… bathroom needs a good clean! Not only mirror and toilet. Corners and silicon dirty. When people next room shut their doors the noise was very very loud! Iron, hairdryer, selection of tea, coffee which was nice. Overall mixed feeling.

The property was okay and some of the staff are fine. I booked a superior room and on the first night I was given a standard room, ac didn’t work and uncomfortable bed, bathroom was a bit dated and walls could do with a bit of paint. I complained next morning and was asked why I didn’t say anything when I checked in, I explained we checked in online with the linked sent to us by the hotel as we were arriving late, we were told it’s because we checked in late this is the reason for not getting the room we booked. I felt that was an irrelevant comment as we did checked in online as requested, the staff did change the room but we got no apologies just blame. Breakfast was good they had a good selection and staff were attentive and helpful. I wouldn’t stay again due to uncomfortable bed as i didn’t have a good night sleep for the 2 nights I stayed.

Room was ok not bad not amazing. Hairdryer sounded on its last legs & power socket too wobbly to use with confidence- strange sound from the rain onto the hollow window sills kept disturbing us at night - but goos shower pressure, comfy beds kettle etc all the expected usuals

Handy for Brighton train station, but overpriced for room quality. Bath a nice addition but no fridge in Standard rooms which you would expect for £200 per night. Can also be noisy if over looking station car park. Window need sound proofing.

Nice and central hotel very close to the train station. Nice sized room but a bit dated, especially the bathroom. Bed was too hard and even if there were loads of pillows they were to floppy and hard.

Large room, comfy beds and pillows. Let us check in early - bonus. Breakfast good for a chain with plenty of choice. Decor cool and all staff lovely. 5 mins from station - DO NOT go out the main entrance but the small one to the left. There is a small sign pointing out the hotel.

The server/host in the breakfast buffet was so rude. We came at least 20 min before 10 and she told us we only have a few minutes which we undercut it felt like she followed me all around d while I was getting my food and reminded me that we only have a few minutes. Once we sat down she approached our table and ask us if we were done with the buffet food so she can keep them, whereas as she just saw us sat down. I felt like we were being pushed out of the restaurant. Another scenario was in the room, we needed water. All we have was sparkling and we didn’t drink that. No one answered room service so I walked around and found the housekeeper . She questioned me why I needed 6 bottles of still water, I told her we were thirsty and there’s 3 of us in the room. I thought this was very rude as we didn’t like the sparkling water. She called the manager and he then instructed her that we needed to call the reception area which I just finished explaining that no one was answering . We were only there for a day and it was the worst service ever . I will not recommend this place. The staff are RUDE!!

We had a very nice stay in the 'Leonardo Brighton Railway Station' as it's known. It was very convenient for the town centre (20 minute walk through The Lanes) and with parking directly opposite (payment required). We were welcomed into the very clean, spacious and modern hotel by friendly reception staff and directed to our family room on the third floor. The room was fairly spacious and had two beds, one double, 1 single which had very comfortable mattresses and pillows. The bathroom was large with toiletries supplied and lots of hot water available in the shower-bath. The room had a television, tea/coffee making facilities, bottled water and lots of towels. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was very good and ate the buffet breakfast which was plentiful and had something for all tastes. All staff in the restaurant were efficient and pleasant. I recommend this hotel.

It was very convenient for the town centre (20 minute walk through The Lanes) and with parking directly opposite (payment required). We were welcomed into the very clean, spacious and modern hotel by friendly reception staff and directed to our family room on the third floor. The room was fairly spacious and had two beds, one double, 1 single which had very comfortable mattresses and pillows. The bathroom was large with toiletries supplied and lots of hot water available in the shower-bath. The room had a television, tea/coffee making facilities, bottled water and lots of towels. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was very good and ate the buffet breakfast which was plentiful and had something for all tastes. All staff in the restaurant were efficient and pleasant. I recommend this hotel.

It was our second stay at Leonardo's hotel, rooms are clean, staff friendly and breakfast is yummy!! It was my sons 13th birthday and I let them know by email (expecting maybe a card) but they left him balloons and birthday biscuits in our room, he was absolutely thrilled... Well done to them for going above and beyond.. :0) We would be happy to return again and the bonus is the hotel is so close to the train station it is only a 5min walk away! Perfect visit.....

First room we were given the toilet was leaking. Room changed quickly. Asked reception for an upgrade as it was my Birthday but they said they didn’t have any and gave us two free drinks vouchers to have at the bar; which was very nice. When we went to the bar I asked for a glass of Prosecco and my partner an apple juice, the lady said Prosecco is only sold by the bottle but as it is my bday she can give me one of the small bottle of Prosecco botella gold complimentary. She was very kind and brought us a slice of cheesecake. Unfortunately the bar manager ruined all her efforts and told her to tell us that the small Prosecco was not included for the voucher and that I would have to pay, I didn’t make a fuss as the italian waitress was very kind and her intentions were good and I didn’t want her to get into trouble, but the manager should have just allowed it and not asked her to charge me £11. Defeats the whole point of getting a free drink offered by reception. Rooms are tired and no hand shower!

Reluctance to allow me an amendment in the first place, a woeful offer of a refund for a night not used, then the booking was cancelled “automatically” even after information was sent regarding my late check in. Booking was reinstated without the original breakfast whilst I waited twenty five minutes in reception, a drinks voucher was welcomed for my hinderance but the good will was cancelled out by me not receiving the 20% discount in the restaurant for the second stay in a row. Poor personal service.

The staff make this hotel - always a warm and friendly welcome from Simona, Mihai et al, also lovely friendly service at the bar. Rooms are great - clean, quiet etc etc. Our favourite hotel in Brighton.

Efficient, friendly staff and very welcoming. Fast check in and express check out. Room was spacious and clean . Breakfast was really good . They stated that the bar closes at 12 however we went to the bar at 11.15 and they were closing so didn't get a drink.

This hotel is a great value for the price. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the hotel is right next to the train station and an easy walk to shopping and the Brighton Palace Pier. The facility is clean and well managed, and the beds were very comfortable. I am planning another trip for next spring or summer to take my daughter to Brighton with me and will likely stay there again.
This hotel is a great value for the price. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the hotel is right next to the train station and an easy walk to shopping and the Brighton Palace Pier. The facility is clean and well managed, and the beds were very comfortable. Very close to Brighton Station and 10-15 minutes walk to shops and restaurants. Various parking options close by - Sainsburys is about 10 minutes walk and the cheapest parking option for overnight, although the station car park is right opposite hotel.

Great location and a cool walk down to the sea side. Make sure the kids bring scooters as it's a 15-20 mins walk down to the sea front (and up hill on way back). Avoid the Brighton game too if you're in a family group Car park handy, however you pay extra if it's past 12pm on check put day. Hotel is great. The best breakfast we had!! Check out is 11am too which is handy

If driving to the hotel then when you arrive at the side of the hotel go straight into the car park. THE ROAD AT THE FRONT OF HOTEL IS NO ACCESS AND A CAMERA COLLECTING NUMBER PLATE FOR POTENTIAL FINE OF £100. The hotel is clean and friendly. When you are departing you will get 2 or 3 knocks at the door from 10am reminding you that departure time is 11am.

The breakfast is good but dinner options are poor. Dinner portion sizes and actual food versus the description leaves a lot to be desired. Dinner is also very expensive and not value for money.

Room was very nice. Check in and check out quick and friendly. Breakfast service was very poor. Barely any cooked food available on either station. When I asked if more would be coming was told “probably”. Not helpful. Stood and waited and what was brought out was already available. Why bring more of that when so many other dishes are empty? Many dirty tables. No clean tea spoons at one of the coffee machines. Everything too packed together so everyone was getting in each other’s way and reaching around and past each other. Several pastry racks empty. Jars of jam at the bread counter all empty. Very poor experience

Reception didn’t answer their phone, breakfast was inadequate and staff were unhelpful. Eg I ordered 3 times for poached eggs on toast and a half an hour later was given two sloppy poached eggs in a cereal bowl and told to make my own toast

The room was great, clean and all the facilities you would expect. Its near the rail station, which is handy (You cannot hear it, my room overlooked the station on the 3rd floor). Although its a bit "out of it" so be prepared for a 20 minute walk downhill to the front. The breakfast and evening meal (and service) however, is terrible. Slow service, mediocre cold tasteless food/room service. Eat ANYWHERE else.

Nice modern hotel with comfy room, great location for exploring, really good breakfast. Food and drink choices were good. Lobby/bar area could get a little cool with the doors keep opening, probably could do with an air curtain.

Great price for a well located hotel but parking is expensive. Great staff, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great! Room very nice, clean and comfortable. Not my first stay and I will be back!

Good location for walking to Brighton attractions, handy parking at the station (immediately opposite). Range of breakfast was good - although unable to get ice/iced coffee. Croissant and pain au chocolate properly warm and crispy.

The staffs at reception are nice and friendly. However, my Expedia Gold Member status was nit recognised and no gold access (room upgrade/food & beverage) were given. The room is dark, air-conditioning/ventilation system not working. The room smells funny. The parking (Brighton station) which the hotel recommended is a scam, the day parking end at 4am everyday, which means for overnight parking, I have to purchase a two days parking which costed me £31.10, be careful!
