The Azure Hotel

Great location, excellent condition, and extremely comfortable. The pool area was very nice, and the overall environment was comfortable, clean, and very homey. Will be staying there again next time we are in town!

Great comfortable stay. Many breakfast options. The only bad part was the hot tub was broken. HIGHLY recommend!

Check in was quick and friendly. Beds were very comfortable. Room was clean with the exception of the laminate flooring. It looks clean, doesn’t feel dirty, but I spilled some white wine on the floor and used a towel to clean it up, the towel was no longer white. I did let the hotel know to maybe do a better job of washing the floors. Pool was decent. Lots of shade areas but only 3 sun loungers. Breakfast was not very desirable. Bagels were not always the freshest and the usual rubber boiled eggs and cereals. The fruit was only oranges and they looked old and wrinkly. I’d stay again though. Location was great for attending an event at the Mesa Art Center.

They have a new washer that works.

Enjoyed our stay here. Great value on a last-minute booking. Didn't use the pool, but it looked nice (and clean). Room is well appointed and good size. King bed was comfortable. Continental breakfast was self-served, quick and easy albeit not a large selection.

Breakfast was okay. Not a variety of protein (can’t eat eggs). Smart danish, same yogurts. We were the Sunday-Thursday so a little different would be nice. Hot tub was clean and hot enough. Jets worked great. Pool was clean and so was the area. Clean big towels! We’d stay there again! Cleaning staff were superb!

Room was nice, and hotel was good for the most part. However, there were two significant issues with my stay. 1. The jacuzzi outside is in desperate need of resurfacing. The bottom and sides are DANGEROUSLY rough. Someone could easily get hurt if they move the wrong way against the surface. I feel like it is a lawsuit waiting to happen. The pool also is rough, but not as bad as the jacuzzi 2. I found that my room windows were left unlocked, with the window screen knocked down. It was on the 2nd floor, but in an area that was walkable, where someone/an employee could have access to. I doubt anyone would come through, but the thought that the window was left unlocked and unprotected for a whole night before I noticed was very unnerving, especially as a woman. These issues, when brought up to staff, were met with apathy, showing no real concern. I think that they will have a lot to be concerned about when someone inevitably hurts themselves in that jacuzzi.

This is always a relaxing hotel to stay at. We’ve stayed here many times and it is always very nice. The staff are friendly and the rooms are always clean and well kept.

The staff were friendly and courteous when checking in. My room was very clean and comfortable. Everything was in excellent working condition.

Very clean and safe

For the most part our stay was ok and the hotel was clean in appearance except for the floor in our room. As we were walking around getting ready for bed our feet became so dirty that footprints were left on the covers. We needed to wash our feet to be able to go to bed. The front desk staff also had very little knowledge of the area and had no dining recommendations.

I was very impressed with how clean my room was. I stayed for 5 days. The bed was comfortable, the AC/heater was quiet enough that I ran it at night. Front desk staff was helpful and polite. Breakfast was alright, there were both healthy and unhealthy options. A teen sports team descended on the hotel on Friday and were loud untip midnight. But that was not the hotel's fault. Very convenient location, I could walk or take ouvlic transport.

Everything was very clean and did not have that normal musty hotel smell.

Squeaky beds could hear every toss and turn. Bathtub had built up grime in corners. Front desk was not very friendly or attentive. Neighborhood was sketchy. Will not book here again. Wanted to check out early and go elsewhere but we were busy for a weddinf

The air conditioner was super noisy and woke us up every time it came on. The walls super thin and could hear everything all the way to the front desk. The hotel was nice, clean and well kept, the area was super sketchy though. Couldn’t wait to leave, felt super unsafe

The place is nice. Right in the middle of Mesa across from the metro line. Literally steps away from the station. I booked the family suite which has two queens in one room and the other room serves as the family room. It has another TV, a long couch with a pull out bed, two love seats, two cushioned chairs and then a small round dining table with two small chairs tucked into a corner. Underneath the tv is a long table where the phone and coffee machine are. Underneath, as you open one of the cabinets, that’s where the mini fridge is. I didn’t notice it until our second day there. One thing that I thought was very odd was there was not one dresser in there. Not even a microwave. We had nowhere to put our clothes. We just pulled from our suitcases. And we had to take the elevator down to the bottom floor to use the microwave in the dining room area. Down on the first floor is also where the only ice machine is. Very inconvenient. The breakfast is advertised as being “hot” which was one of the main reasons I booked here. I enjoy a nice cooked breakfast, maybe some scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon. Some toast or hotcakes. We got none of that. Their “hot” breakfast is just a continental breakfast with an available toaster. They had a bunch of hard boiled eggs. Some bagels and wheat bread. Cream cheese packets and butter. Also some peanut butter packets. Some yogurt, cereal with milk, granola bars and some fruit. And a sweet danish which was good warmed up. That was it. I’d rebook

Bed was not comfortable, desk attendant was asleep at the desk and I couldn’t get him to wake up to open the doors.

Nice hotel very quiet. Could use some updates to the room decor and chipped wood areas. Otherwise it was good. Enjoyed the whirlpool tub in the room :-)

The room was clean, bed creaked loudly with any movement, so that was annoying. Sounded like elephants were above us until the early morning hours but sound tends to carry in hotels. We didn’t spend much time there but it was clean and comfortable for us.

Spacious room and bathroom, clean, functional, safe, quiet surroundings, short walk to lightrail station, free parking, breakfast included. No microwave, but there’s a fridge and coffee machine. Very comfy bed, lots of pillows; hairdryer.

Everything was great. You can hear everything through the rooms. Rooms don’t have a microwave.

Very large, clean room that was quiet and comfortable. The A/C was a little loud. The blinds did not block enough light for my taste. Everything else about the room was excellent. The breakfast was very limited from what I saw. I am sure it is adequate, but don’t come expecting a full meal. It was definitely adequately named as a continental breakfast.

I really want to tell everyone what an amazing staff this hotel has. We had a family emergency and after explaining a little bit, Adrian and Mila were so kind and helpful with my son and my situation and I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart.

Annette and Becky are Rockstars and the the property is awesome and very, reasonablely priced. This is not my first time staying at Azure and will not be the last.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating. We were there for a convention and had to check out at 11, even though our flight wasn’t until 6. They let us leave our bags at the desk while we finished classes at our convention. 10/10 above and beyond service.

Poor air conditioning in our room. Staff refused to move us. Having to stay in 80 degree room. Uncomfortable.

Air conditioning barely worked. We were uncomfortable. We called the front desk several times, they refused to move us to a different room, even after admitting that they had one they could move us to. Never got below 80.

I've been here for about a week and a half and a much as I like the price, what really impresses me here is the staff. Specifically, Becky and Annette. They have been a going above and beyond in helping me out during my stay. I'm greatful for the effort they've put in to helping out. You can tell they put a lot of pride in the property. **Great property and great staff.

The morning manager was rude she sounded like she was eating the whole time she was talking! Rude! I didn’t get a immediate check in like I was advised over the phone so they lied when I got there they were rude and advised no rooms until three after I traveled 16hrs non stop she should be reprimanded

Very bad customer service from Brandon, I stayed back in 2023 and he was so rude then today he was just so disrespectful and rude again that I told him I would report him and he refused to get the deposit or give me the keys just because I told him the truth that he wasn’t doing his job correctly this happened on October 18 at 11:40pm aproxímately if you’d like to watch your recordings if you even have any…

The hotel charged an extra $100 deposit fee the day I checked out. They said it would be refunded in 10 - 14 days. I have since made 4 calls to the hotel, each time I was told they processed the refund. Which my credit card company says they have not, nor has it shown up on my account. It is over 30 days later and I still have not received the refund of the extra deposit fee.

The Azure Hotel is a good value. It’s on the edge of downtown Mesa in an area slowly being developed. It’s mostly comfortable (blackout curtains would be a nice upgrade) and the staff is great. It’s a basic hotel that does that job well.

The Azure Hotel is affordable, comfortable and great location!! The rail line is out front, about 1/3 mile from the hotel. We went to a concert downtown and the rail line was amazing!! Great location close to many restaurants. The pool looked inviting (no time), and the continental breakfast hit the spot. Highly recommend

Our stay was fine. The area around the hotel isn't very good. Nothing walkable, very run down. Strong "cleaning product" oder in the halls. I wouldn't stay here again if I had any choice. Just ok.

Check-in was easy and they let us check-in early with no fees or other hassles. Located in a beautiful part of Mesa. Easy walking distance to our event at The Nile theater. Lots of nice vintage shops along the street as well. Fantastic value! I would definitely stay here again.

This is basically a refurbished motel. The rooms are nice, the common area is fine, Wi-Fi seemed a bit spotty, and the front desk had no real answer for it. In fact, the girl at the front desk was kind of clueless and so was the maintenance guy. The area is fine I guess, but there were literally three pawn shops and several dollar stores within a few blocks, so, if that gives you any idea...

The Azure met my basic requirements of safety for me and my vehicle, quietness day and night and my basic needs of a working shower and air conditioner. Also, it's conveniently located on Mesa's Main St. where all the happening places are. I would definitely stay here again!

I like that the property only has 2 floors which helped keep the noise level down. The room was quiet too. At most hotels I can hear through the walls other guest's televisions, talking, or walking down the hall but that's not the case at the Azure. The housekeeping staff is also quiet when they go about their business. If you're staying for several days there are a washer and dryer for guest use. The location is close to a tram stop and in a renovated area that has lots of restaurants and museums close by.

Keurig type coffee maker leaked, but coffee also available in the lobby each morning- not the best coffee. Bed and pillows comfortable. Shower with good water pressure, towels mostly decent. Didn't have a chance to utilize the pool area. Overall, good value for the money when traveling on a budget. Would stay again.
