First time at hotel, used as a stop over sith food and drinks. Hotel was great and staff were excellent. Hotel facilities were good although rooms a little dated but ticked all the boxes for us.

A great looking building and a great reception from Stef.My room was well ventilated disnt need the heating on a nice 2 seater sofa was great for readi g and watching the tv.The shower could be a bit more powerful and that was the only fault. The restaurant and bar do not open on Monday and Tuesday.it was very quiet.

Be warned that this property is "closed" from Sunday night when the bar closes (about 10pm) to Wednesday morning at about 8am. Not mentioned in their Expedia listing and they take hotel bookings regardless so if your thing is staying in an out of the way, fairly down at heel establishment redolent of scenes from "The Shining", then have at it. The bed was clean, fresh and very comfortable though - for the one night I stayed out of the 5 nights I booked and pre-paid for. I checked out as fast as I could but even that is a misnomer - with zero, and I mean nobody, staff on the premises, I just left my keys (to the whole hotel) at Reception and scarpered. I was genuinely just given the keys and told to go to the Spar over the road if I wanted food and drink. As a solo female traveller, I did not feel welcome or safe. Nor did I feel it was incumbent on a paying guest to be ditched. Also - alarmingly - the whole place smells of stale fried fish - thats the special supper on a Wednesday - but it lingers. It's a real pity that guests are not a priority at this hotel because the village is pretty and the hotel could be lovely. Apparently the restaurant is highly rated but alas, closed, and the two teabags I was left with didn't touch sides.

Our stay was fine. Disappointed that the restaurant was closed. We had to find somewhere to eat nearby, recommendation though from the hotel. After a long journey, with long delay and 7pm arrival, we would have preferred to just settle in for the evening. We then had to find somewhere for breakfast in the morning. Toilet flush was very poor.

Staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay great. The entrance area, bar and restaurant were fantastic. The rooms are dated but still acceptable. Our room needed a good clean would be my only major criticism.

The staff were very warm and welcoming. We arrived just before the kitchen closed and they made sure we were able to get dinner, which was just what we needed after a 6 hour drive. The food is typical pub food. The room was dated but quiet and had all the amenities we needed. Would stay again.

Just spent the weekend in the Inchture Hotel. My room was a little tired, but exceptionally large, clean and comfortable. The staff were attentive, accommodating and friendly, and the food was delicious. The atmosphere in the hotel was lovely, I would definitely stay here again

Room clean but floor is at an angle. Alarm system at front desk was beeping for over an hour between 1 and 2am making it impossible to sleep. No staff on site to reset this.

First time at hotel, used as a stop over sith food and drinks. Hotel was great and staff were excellent. Hotel facilities were good although rooms a little dated but ticked all the boxes for us.

A great looking building and a great reception from Stef.My room was well ventilated disnt need the heating on a nice 2 seater sofa was great for readi g and watching the tv.The shower could be a bit more powerful and that was the only fault. The restaurant and bar do not open on Monday and Tuesday.it was very quiet.

Just spent the weekend in the Inchture Hotel. My room was a little tired, but exceptionally large, clean and comfortable. The staff were attentive, accommodating and friendly, and the food was delicious. The atmosphere in the hotel was lovely, I would definitely stay here again

while an older hotel it is very clean, quiet, safe and easy to park. the food is very good. Friendly staff. I would return to this location again if in the area.

Our stay was fine. Disappointed that the restaurant was closed. We had to find somewhere to eat nearby, recommendation though from the hotel. After a long journey, with long delay and 7pm arrival, we would have preferred to just settle in for the evening. We then had to find somewhere for breakfast in the morning. Toilet flush was very poor.

The staff were very warm and welcoming. We arrived just before the kitchen closed and they made sure we were able to get dinner, which was just what we needed after a 6 hour drive. The food is typical pub food. The room was dated but quiet and had all the amenities we needed. Would stay again.

Tired decor and room furniture. Carpet needs changed or cleaned. Mattress past its use. Hot tap ran all night(slowly) but ran hot water therefore a cost to the hotel. Decorative tops missing on both taps. Door noise outside the room. Could hear each person use the doors as they creaked continuously ( simple maintenance to oil them!) Otherwise staff polite and helpful and food in the bar area was very good.

booked to arrive at 8 pm but got delayed. Phoned to inform hotel id be late. Told I had to be there by 11 pm or no check-in. Time was tight for me but no leeway was offered. Felt like i was going to arrive at Castle Doom but .. arrived on time to a small country hotel glowing with warmth and conviviality. Welcomed by name by manager (not person on phone) who introduced me to lacals at the bar and an incredibily pleasant hour was passed drinking a couple of pints of well-priced Guinness. Room basic but adequate for my needs. Triton shower! Loved it. Nobreakfast. Would use again.
