walkable to the airport. Should try and keep families and children to one floor, difficult to sleep even in a requested quiet area. More menu options would also be nice. Bar staff very friendly, check in was ok, person pleasant but couldn't find my reservation. Having only one lift functional was very inconvenient, had to wait more than 5 minutes to even get on as small and with cases couldn't get on due to multiple people checking in and out at the same time. over all its convenience and closeness to the airport was the reason for booking

So convenient for glasgow airport. Being a member gets you check out at 11. Breakfast included in price too. I see they are charging for parking now which is a downside but all hotels are doing it.

The hotel is used almost exclusively by travellers going on or returning from holiday. Despite this, there was 1 very slow barman running the bar. It took ages to get served but when you ordered food, the food was back at the table before you were! Its a functional hotel that serves a purpose.

Hotel was very good as in quality of room and easy parking for airport Only bad points are they charge £10 for car park which should not happen as you are staying in hotel. Food was bad as looks like everything has been in a micro wave and would not order food again

To be charged as a disabled driver is totally disgusting I have never paid for parking and to charge me £10 I find it deplorable and won’t stay with this particular total again.

This hotel is an excellent option for travellers arriving and departing from Glasgow airport. The main terminal is an easy, safe 2 minute walk, with the 500 airport express bus (which goes right to Queen Street station) stance right outside the terminal. Staff at the hotel are friendly, helpful, and informative. There is a bar and dining for the evening hours and, for early departures, a well-stocked continental breakfast bar starting at 4am. The rooms are very clean and quiet. Overall, an excellent option, and I will continue to choose this hotel when traveling to and from Glasgow.

Hotel was clean, convenient and service was good. Only complaint I would have is reception, bar and restaurant are all together. Also you had to order food at the bar and prepay. Not a welcoming environment. However, the room was warm, clean and comfortable. The hotel was good value for money.

Have stayed in this hotel many times over the years, very helpful and polite staff, always very happy to assist. Room was comfortable and suitable size for a quick 1 night stay. Quiet enough considering proximity to the airport. Good amenities and the free breakfast is a great addition.

Super clean, comfortable, great access to the airport. The room was very well equipped & some nice additional touches such as coffee/tea making options. Really nice bathroom. The early breakfast (starting at 4:30) was great & included everything we needed. we chose to eat dinner at the hotel for the convenience of it, but thought it was rather pricey & just 'ok' quality.

The hotel is within a seven or eight minute walk of the airport. It was easy to find of course, and we chose it after having booked the other Holiday Inn and comparing the ratings. We chose to move this one. Breakfast was OK similar and quality what you might find on an airplane. But not bad. Just acceptable. The staff were excellent. Our check-in was quick and efficient. We arrived quite early and we were able to leave our bags at reception while we explored Glasgow. Amusingly one of the finest parts of our room where the blackout curtains. It is very light in Scotland this time of year and it was an especially sunny day. When we woke up this morning, the room was pitch black the minute we opened the curtains. It was like the second coming of Christ! I wish I had curtains that worked that well at home. We highly recommend the Holiday Inn express. It couldn’t be more convenient. And if you’re dropping off a rental car, the hotel is a slow five minute walk from the rental counter, so you really can’t go wrong.

We stayed at this hotel for one night. The room was quite small and felt cramped. The TV was an older model, which made the room feel a bit outdated. The reception service was okay—nothing exceptional but not bad either. Overall, it was fine for a short stay, but there’s definitely room for improvement, especially in terms of room comfort and amenities.

Good enough for the price. Close to the airport, so convenient for an early flight. Noisy showers and very thin walls. Luckily everyone seemed to settle down by around 9-ish which helped. As we had an early flight didn't take advantage of the free breakfast, so can't comment on that. Would stay again for the price we paid.

Location was excellent, but very limited when it came to dining opportunities (not surprising, considering the location). Room was very small and clean, but bathroom sink would not drain which was a bit unpleasant with five people using it.

Check in good - bar service ok - had to take a drink back as it was not right. I did not expect to get into a debate with a member of staff about it - eventually I got it changed. I do think the bar staff are under pressure as they now take food orders too. Room was ok - but the noise from the M8 lead to an uncomfortable night with not a lot of sleep !

I must commend Manager John and Night Manager Emma for their help in resolving our problem with a double booking. They both went out of their way, John in particular, in helping us to get a refund on one of our bookings. The double booking was my mistake.

Got stranded at the airport so had to make a last minute booking. The reception sorted me out an early check in which was greatly appreciated. Standards are what you expect from Holiday Inn Express. Rooms are clean and comfy, staff are friendly and professional, breakfast is OK.

And if you’re dropping off a rental car, the hotel is a slow five minute walk from the rental counter, so you really can’t go wrong.
The hotel is within a seven or eight minute walk of the airport. It was easy to find of course, and we chose it after having booked the other Holiday Inn and comparing the ratings. We chose to move this one. Breakfast was OK similar and quality what you might find on an airplane. But not bad. Just acceptable. The staff were excellent. Our check-in was quick and efficient. We arrived quite early and we were able to leave our bags at reception while we explored Glasgow. Amusingly one of the finest parts of our room where the blackout curtains. It is very light in Scotland this time of year and it was an especially sunny day. When we woke up this morning, the room was pitch black the minute we opened the curtains. This hotel is brilliant for a stay close to GLA. It is clean and comfortable, and the breakast is excellent. The biggest problem for us was finding it, quite the accomplishment for a large building that’s a three minutes walk away from the arrivals exit. When I spoke to the manager about this, he was completely unsympathetic, and he might just as well have come right out and said that he thought I was a very stupid old woman. He’s right about “old” but this old girl was travelling independently around Europe in 1970, armed only with paper maps. The next day, i was at the exit from arrivals, and there was a obviously frazzled gentleman with google maps open on his phone, looking totally lost. “Holiday Inn Express?” I asked. Yes indeed. He had looked, but same as me, he had seen no signage. So I gave him the directions: 1. Cross the traffic lanes at the purple bus. 2. Head into the parking garage, and follow the path of zebra stripes,which go off to your left. No way will you see the unlit sign in the garage which is mounted high and parallel to your direction of travel. 3. Go behind the glass fence-like structure. That’s a covered walkway, and you’ll be there in about two minutes. Maybe HIEx could share these instructions with expected guests. It took me almost an hour of walking back and forth looking for signs,and in circles (with my crutch and mobility issues) to get there the first time. I think HIEx owes me a drink.

This hotel is an excellent option for travellers arriving and departing from Glasgow airport. The main terminal is an easy, safe 2 minute walk, with the 500 airport express bus (which goes right to Queen Street station) stance right outside the terminal. Staff at the hotel are friendly, helpful, and informative. There is a bar and dining for the evening hours and, for early departures, a well-stocked continental breakfast bar starting at 4am. The rooms are very clean and quiet. Overall, an excellent option, and I will continue to choose this hotel when traveling to and from Glasgow.

Room and amenities were great and the reception staff were very helpful. Downside was the lady setting up for breakfast who wouldn’t allow us to access a grab &go breakfast roll as it was only 6.25 - and although the hot food was out it wasn’t to be touched till 6.30am! We were heading for the airport for an early flight and were disappointed as we chose this hotel as breakfast was included in the cost.

When it was finally our turn there was a 40 minute delivery time and most of the menu items were no longer available. We went elsewhere. In the morning the restaurant closed for 15 minutes while the hot food was being set up y the only employee on duty. We only wanted a continental breakfast but were denied access. Very poor service.

Stayed the night before an early flight departure. Clean comfortable rooms are well equipped. Bar and restaurant are available for dinner. Continental breakfast is available from 4am and full breakfast from 6.30am. Airport terminal is a few minutes away.

I had to be at the airport at 5 am. Therefore I was unable to take advantage of the full breakfast selection. There were no take-away cups or containers for me to take a coffee or snack with me.

Stayed at the HI express Glasgow for one night before flying back to Canada on an early flight. Perfect location and able to walk to the terminal in just a few minutes. Friendly staff. Room was perfect. Clean and even though next to the motorway it was very quiet. Dining was not that great though. Fish and chips was not good with raw batter. Still we didn’t expect fine dining but still…..

Staff were very professional and friendly. This is our go-to hotel for Glasgow airport. The only real quibble I have is the food available for an evening meal, it is decidedly average.

Super clean, comfortable, great access to the airport. The room was very well equipped & some nice additional touches such as coffee/tea making options. Really nice bathroom. The early breakfast (starting at 4:30) was great & included everything we needed. we chose to eat dinner at the hotel for the convenience of it, but thought it was rather pricey & just 'ok' quality.

Room was clean and well taken care of. It was small for the 4 of us and not being able to get a room with two queen beds was challenging… but we made the pullout bed work. The room with the pullout bed eliminated any space you would liked to Have for your suitcases. But still a good rating based on cleanliness, proximity to airport as it was very walkable in about 3-4 mins… staff were friendly but the cost of dinner for us 4 was quite expensive for what it was…. $97 pound for two small pizzas, a burger and mac and cheese with two appies… something that would have cost us almost half elsewhere.
