Best Western Plus Olive Branch Hotel & Suites

The motel was everything we hoped for with the exception of the fact that the ice machines were not in working order. Other than that, this was a great stay. Very peaceful with no noise issues during the night. There was a guy at the front desk when we checked in on Saturday night that was obviously a peddler and was talking to the desk clerk. He smelled of marijuana and seemed to be very high at the time. I would check into this matter as these people should not be allowed in such a place of business. My wife and daughter were very uncomfortable in his presence while attempting to check in.

Basic hotel with updates happening. The room was clean. The mattresses were hanging over the platform but slept okay. Front Desk clerk was very friendly as was every employee that we came in contact with.

This hotel is in poor repair. I paid for a suite with a kitchen. Yes, it had a huge refrigerator, a stovetop and microwave, however, no utensils, dishes or even any paper towels. Beds were nice, but I needed a step stool to get in bed (I'm 5' 5", so I am not too small.) Bathroom floor was filthy at the ground level - does anyone even check this stuff? Breakfast area was ok, with ok choices - and a weird coffee machine. I do not recommend this one. Stay someplace else. The night desk clerk was very sweet and kind.

Other than the noisy elevator, the noisy neighbors, the cockroaches in the bathroom, inedible breakfast, dripping bathtub faucet and the shower temperature control backwards….our stay was……ok. 😒

The doors were cracked easy access to gained in the room

Room furnishings were not installed complete. Sink in room was not installed and faucete hoses were not connected and sawdust / trash was inside cabinet!

Property just needs maintenance and upkeep. Staff was very helpful.

My stay here was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE & I will NEVER book here again. There was a kitchen sink against the wall of the bedroom that was not finished. The door to my room did not fit the frame therefore I could see through the hallway from the inside of my room. Once voicing my concerns they were IGNORED!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

The hotel was priced poorly based on the conditions of the facility. We paid a premium price for subpar accommodations.

The room had a damp smell to it, like it recently flooded or something. Had to pull hard on the room door and bathroom door in order to close it shut.

For the price I really expected better. When I arrived and checked in and received my key. I went to the room. Once I entered the room and had a loud smoke smell which I booked a non-smoking room. I booked a non-smoking room because I’m allergic to smoke . So yes I had to take medicine because of the smoke smell. I went back up to the front to explain the situation and the employee only said they were sorry and said they had no one to clean the room but if I wanted them to come in they would dust. Later that night police and ambulance arrived because a guy gave a kid a edible gummie and he had a bad reaction I guess . So that went on for awhile. The next day I went up front to explain the situation about the room and I wasn’t satisfied and the employee which was a lady just brushed it off and didn’t say anything. I also asked if they had another kitchenettes suite and she said they only had the one I was in. Which might I had was located at the end of the hall where they do laundry and mens and ladies restrooms so during the day while trying to rest all you here is a toilet bowl flushing. They could’ve stated that about the room someone books it in the description. The staff wasn’t helpful or friendly at all. Every time I went to the front desk for something I had to wait because they were outside smoking not paying attention. Really I should’ve been refunded because the stay was not pleasant at all. It looks new but the furniture was old in the room.

The room was nice and clean, but the building and hallway smelled like weed and unclean. I enjoyed our room, but the hallway was nauseating.

Very clean, lobby smelled amazing. We were pulling a trailer and had no concerns because parking lot well lit and clean.

It was extremely smelly hotel due to moisture that one cannot even breathe properly. I had a booking online and couldn't even checkin, I'm waiting for canclatiin confirmation and refund.

The room smells like cigarettes and mold. It had stains on the wall and the carpet felt dirty

Have stayed here before but it has gone downhill. Worn down, hard loud beds with even the slightest movement. There was a cockroach in the bathroom the next morning. Absolutely disgusting. Won't stay again.

noisy the trash truck at 2:30 am must have been by stairs lots of nose from people dragging things up and down the stairs someone running, morning breakfast was great it was nice and clean good parking places to eat close by getting to what we needed was great with the roads around maybe a room next to ours you wound not have the stair nose or the trash truck just outside our window in the morning

Because the room was paid for through a 3rd party, I was unable to get a refund and stay elsewhere. The mgr on duty Michael upgraded my room which was much nicer, comfortable and in a better condition. All of the staff I encountered were nice, friendly & helpful. If this hotel is years old, they may just need to work on upgrading some of the rooms if anymore are like the first one I stayed in. Being at the interstate, I am sure they get a lot of guests and wear and tear. I am appreciative of the staff assisting me with resolving my concerns. I didn't have any other issues during my stay.

Some of the amenities in the room were in sad shape. The bed frame had stains and heavy wear; the mini fridge and microwave were damaged but operating well. I think overall worth the price, but it could be better.

Nice room. Donna at front desk was very nice. And even told us about a walking place to have dinner and drinks. 5 stars to Donna.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Sandra harassed my Boyfriend and I the entirety of the trip, tried to argue with us over the room phone and then said she didn’t care if we wrote a review. The entire trip, she kept trying to say we “smelled” like weed coming in when my boyfriend had a medical card and no weed was smoked on the premises. And the room didn’t smell like anything. I watched her walk in with a 24 pack of Beer on the clock and this is the manager?? Then proceeds to say she has premium members that stay there, so she obviously doesn’t value a regular paying customer. They had an issue with checking me out properly, and there was obviously nobody complaining because there was barely anybody staying in the hotel. You walk in to check on her employees are sleep on the job and more.

My stay at Best Western Plus in Olive Branch MS was great! The manager Sandra and her team was attentive, accommodating and very friendly. The Breakfast buffet was delicious, and freshly prepared each day. My elderly Uncle and Mother traveled with me for our 4 night stay. All staff were very respectful and graciously offered assistance to both of them. I will definitely choose to stay here in the future.

Our stay was good! The Front desk was very helpful. The breakfast attendent was very accommodating.

Staff was great from check in til checkout

My room wasn’t clean for two days and I was later told that I had to request because of the holiday for the room to be clean. Never heard of such and then after the fact you then taking my money, and tell me all the day that I was being checked out.

The hotel was nice, clean and located close to the Highway. The staff on the other hand were out of this world. They were pleasant, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast meal was one of. The best I had experienced in my travels. I could not believe how relaxed we felt when we got settled in. I would highly recommend this hotel 100%.

Stayed at the hotel for only an hour and left. Bugs were coming out of nowhere all over the bed and floor.Tried to get a refund and they refused as if I was telling a lie. The manager who’s name is Michael was rude and didn’t want to help resolve my issue. I will be sending my video of the bugs crawling to the news station and exposing this hotel.

Nice breakfast spread.Our room (115) has a distinct and enduring odor of a previous smoker combined with use of cleaners (Volatile Organic Compounds - VOCs) and scents too mask the odor. Seems ironic the hotel takes a damage deposit for smoking when you are assigned a smoking room😉 Would also be nice not to have smokers at the entrance upon arrival- perhaps a smoking area 20 feet from entrance as is standard in the industry .

We had a power outage due to the storm so finding some close, nice, neat and comfortable was this place.

Friendly staff, easy to get to. Grounds are well maintained. Room is clean. Not far from some places to eat. Looks like some maintenance is happening on the 1st floor but that's not inconveniencing me!

Had no hot water in hotel,breakfast was awful.. Staff was very unknowingly of policies.not properly trained.

The food in the morning for breakfast was horrible. The bagels were rock hard and the eggs were very watery. The staff sat down and just stayed preoccupied on there phine and didnt do anything.

Pool was disgusting and dirty, breakfast was subpar for a best western, tv was small, room was ok at best.. very disappointing after spending 4 nights at the best western in desoto. Really needs a lot of improvement!
