Two lifts but one is out of order until well into October - simply ludicrous God knows what the delays will be on grand final weekend

Great location in heart of CBD. Close to Chinatown and easy access to trams. Handy IGA next to hotel. Sone delays with lift renovations, which once completed by end of October, will make access to rooms fast.

Good service and location, parking dicey to get in and out of, and accessibility to lobby a little tricky to navigate with prams (stairs and a heavy door on entrance).

Good location apartment ok but could do with a paint/refresh. Only 1 lift working which was inconvenient

Excellent location for theatre district. Only one lift working meant longer waiting times. Bathroom in need of refurbishment- looks very tired.

Everything was great.. Except parking was a hefty $45 per night and almost impossible to get out of the carpark, very tight spaces and single lane making it quite dangerous.

Easy commute to theatres, good onsite parking. Rooms clean and easily accessible.

Great location and spacious apartment. One lift was out of service for maintenance which made it very time consuming to get in and out of the building, especially at peak times. Lifts are getting old so it’s good that they are being upgraded, which will make a big difference.

Very basic but very clean and maintained. Will come again. Carpark difficult for large vehicle (single laneway with very tight corners).

Good location, room a bit tired. Shower over bath, with only one handrail, led to my fall and possible broken toe and bruises. Suggest 2 hand rails, not slip mats in the bath. Extra cleaning around doors, lights, etc.

Most things were good. There was mildew at the bottom of the window. Needed a chair to sit on.

The room was not clean. The fridge was not cleaned and had hairs...disgusting. The dishwasher was not functioning and had to have a repair undertaken during our stay. The rubbish in the kitchen was not collected during one day.

Toilet paper screwed up in bathroom cupboards, and toiletries of the previous occupant.

Our stay was comfortable in a large 1 bedroom apartment. We needed parking however there is nowhere directly outside to park while trying to check in - only a bus stop. The rooms are a little dated but like I said comfortable with a large kitchen, bathroom and living area. We had a balcony which needed a clean but it was raining during our stay and didn’t spend any time out there. Only real criticism that would need addressing are the floors - they needed a good clean. In the kitchen the floor was actually sticky and could see footprints of previous people that had stayed. Staff were polite and had a call from reception a few hours after check in to see if everything was fine. Overall I would stay again as it was an extremely quiet room and had a good nights sleep.

Room wasn't clean and the facility is very dated.

We have stayed many times at Oaks on Lonsdale. When we checked into our non smoking room there was a bottle of water with dirty smoke butts in it on the balcony table. Advised front desk. They apologised but it wasn’t removed. Cleaning of the bathroom wasn’t good either as hair on the walls and sides of the bath. Remote wouldn’t work at all for tv but front desk staff found an old remote that worked. Very good location and extremely comfortable bed and pillows.

Location was great, a bit dated and the room was not serviced for our 5 night stay. We left the please make up sign out daily. We ended up going to woolies for our tea and coffee supplies. It was expected we empty our own bins and put down the shute. I expected more for the price.

Parking outside on the street, someone broke into my car. Room was dirty. curtains had stains on them. It's an old used apartment they put nice furniture in. I checked in at 7pm online as they requested and wouldn't let me into my room until 10PM after driving all day. They didn't have spare pillows. there was no air conditioning in the bedroom so you had to chill out the whole apartment on a 45 degree day.

The room wasn’t very clean. There were hairs in the shower and toilet. Mould on the walls in the bathroom. There was barely any hot water. It would work for 20 seconds then turn cold for 60 seconds. Pretty disappointing.

Great location, close to railway station and free tram stop. IGA Express next door was a bonus. The 1-bedroom apartment was spacious and had a nice balcony, but it was lacking in conveniently located power outlets for charging phone etc. And what's with a clothes washer but no dryer or even a drying rack? I've stayed here before and will definitely stay again.

The location of Oaks on Lonsdale was wonderful for attending the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the room was larger than we expected with all the conveniences that you would expect from an apartment - full kitchen and a laundry with washer and dryer. The bed was comfortable and the room and the rear of the building was very quite. My only issue is that the wifi is the slowest that I have ever had with speeds of 1-4 mb/s download and less than 1mb/s upload, even slower than you get aboard a cruise ship If the wifi was better I would give them a rating of 4.5 to 5

Rooms great size. Little dated in the furniture but overall great value . Comfortable king bed. Bath . Balcony. Enjoyable stay 🙏

Comfortable bed, had everything you need. Very clean. Slightly dated but good. The couch unfortunately was uncomfortable but was a good apartment.

Hotel was clean and very open plan, like something big was missing in the room. Sadly the two "king" beds were singles pushed together causing a massive hard lump in the middle and were not comfortable. Shower was in really high bath, making it hard and dangerous to get in and out from. I would stay again if cost was the deciding factor, however it definitely isn't my first choice.

This property is in prime location close to city center. Few issues with apartment: - No Room heater or air conditioner. With freezing temperatures it was difficult on first night. Later property provided room heater. Since this property was listed as having AC, but only in living room not in bedrooms - washer/dryer - doesn’t dry out cloths. You need to dry out on stand

Got all the necessity such as dryer, washer, dish washer, oven, microwave and etc. However, only ONE FAN COIL UNIT in the living room. That is so odd that we cannot close bedroom doors for both our bedrooms. We cannot have good sleep for our 1st night because that day, the rooms were so humble and stuffy! Both toilet doors dont have locks which can't be locked too! We will consider to stay again when it is not summer and pricing is reasonable.

Both TVs not watchable due to Issues with the remotes. Shower head sprsying water on to the ceiling which then dripped back cold onto your body. Very uncomfortable.

Spacious suite but not good wifi. I was there for business and that didn’t work out . Reception very hot and miss

The staff at reception were friendly and kind. The view from the room was picturesque. The bed comfortable.

The rooms were very spacious. Very clean. Only thing i can rate against this room was , there was no lock on the bathroom door, and dishwasher didnt work. Thats the only bad things about it. It was the pefect location. In the city, but out of the hustle of it all. China town in a 5 minute walk. Victoria markets around 15min walk. Right next door is IGA supermarket and bottle shop. The staff at Nolo are fantastic, Very warm and welcoming right from when we got there untill the minute we left. Always friendly. We had room 701. Mostly everything is new in there. Great view of the street from the balcony. Perfect spot really for a weekend getaway. Great for singles, couples and familes.

Front desk Staff were amazing but property owner/managemt team need to do something about the noise pollution and the fact that it’s very hard to renter the hotel room/apartment when the door mechanism is not working, it’s not acceptable to have to try multiple room cards to try and enter a room only to be advised the room lock is not working, We were room moved but this should not be happening. Your staff should not be placed in this position because of fixable maintenance issues that have not been addressed. Your maintenance guy attended but gave us new keys but as soon as he had clocked off for yhe day the issue happened again where we could not get into our room. Maintenance worker should have changed the lock battery as soon as there was as there was an issue

Initially the room I had booked was basic with an ajoining room which did not suit my husband & I. When I called to request changing to another room we were upgraded to a one bedroom apartment on a high level. It was fantastic for our stay & had a washer dryer/balcony/kitchen, comfy bed & everything we neeed. Staff very helpful & allowed us late check out too. Would stay again.

When I arrived at the reception desk the receptionist was a trainee and she was very friendly. She called her work colleague to help as she couldn’t find my booking. The other receptionist wasn’t very friendly. She didn’t greet me. They spent 20 minutes trying to find my booking while my husband had to keep doing laps around the built road in the car. They had to rebook me a room. I was very surprised when I was charged $37 to park the car in their building. On the Hotels website it says Parking Available but I didn’t realise we would have to pay extra otherwise I would have booked a different hotel. The room was clinical with no relaxed atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable. I’m very disappointed in the whole experience and will not book here again.

I have stayed at many Oaks properties and this was one of the worst experiences. Upon arrival, I was advised the room wasn’t ready so I stored my bags. I returned later in the afternoon to check in and was given a room with the wrong bedding arrangement. When I advised staff they told me “Oh we’ll push the beds together, give us 1-2hrs to get it ready”. I said no as it was already 2hrs after check in time and the room we booked should have been ready. We were tired from the flight and did not want to wait another 1-2hrs. We were given a different room, however the wifi access did not work as the room had not been changed to our names. The room itself was outdated, there were holes in the couch and very dirty furniture. The most alarming part was the hairdryer which had a sticker over the switch showing “Danger, do not use!” Which was dated early September 2024. There should not be appliances that are a danger kept in rooms for 6 months. This also meant that the appliances advertised for the room were not actually available. Simple maintenance activities should be kept up to scratch. Upon check out, the staff member was rude and dismissive. I had my luggage stored for approx 1hr and when I returned to retrieve it as I was heading to the airport, she asked me to wait at the door of the storage room and then proceeded to initiate a phone call so I had to wait until she was done. Other than being a convenient location, I would not recommend staying here.

Oaks on Lonsdale is our hotel of choice in Melbourne. Stayed here multiple times. Spacious, comfortable apartments close to Chinatown and many other restaurants. Easy to walk or get the trams around town. Welcoming atmosphere and helpful staff.

The staff went out of their way to help me with any queries I had and made me feel very welcome. Have been recommending Oaks on Lonsdale to my friends and family for the times we need accommodation in Melbourne.

Excellent large room in great location

Close to Parliament station for trains and teams; within free tram city circle; IGA supermarket next door; lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Located in Melbourne CBD withany nearby places to eat.

Great location for easy access to the theatre district. Room was spacious and clean with a nice view toward Parliament House and the Treasury Gardens

Great location, walkable to almost all of the sites in Melbourne. The one bedroom apartment was very spacious with lovely balcony on the 26 th floor.

Property is in a quieter location of CBD but close to everything you will need.

The Oaks Melbourne on Lonsdale is not the latest/greatest building, but is an excellent place to stay in a great location for transport, dining, bars, and cultural sites. Cooking and washing/ironing facilities were handy and used daily. The views from our 24th floor apartment were amazing.
