In The Woods - Pet Friendly Waterfront

Excellent private lot in the woods. Went to ludington and Manistee nearby and enjoyed the private pond and woods!

We enjoyed the cabin. Great location between Ludington and Manistee near to the Michigan Recreational Forest which has a great pet friendly beach.

Finding a pet-friendly place that welcomed both our dogs and cat was quite challenging, especially since I couldn't find a trustworthy cat sitter. When I stumbled upon this listing, I booked it right away. We wanted a secluded spot with a fire pit, surrounded by nature, and this house exceeded our expectations. The directions, rules, check-in, and check-out procedures were straightforward and easy to follow. Upon arrival, the house was spotless and even had some leftover firewood! Though the pond level was low, we enjoyed searching for fish and watching deer drink in the mornings. We walked the small trail behind the house 4-5 times daily; it was the perfect length for dog walks and a great workout. While I wished we could have explored more of the trail, we respected the no trespassing signs. During one of our drives, we discovered a backroad leading to a spooky trail with no cell service—it was a blast! We are already planning to return next year!

From the moment I opened the curtains and saw the fall colored trees and the lovely pond out front I knew this was going to be the quiet retreat we were looking for. Wether walking the trails or driving we saw many deer squirrels and birds. This home is a gem it was clean and had everything we needed. Would love to stay there again
