We had a wonderful stay for my wife’s 60th birthday. Great room, service and attention to detail. All the staff are very helpful. Had an excellent meal in the restaurant and enjoyed the fabulous spa facilities. Highly recommended and will definitely visit again

From start to finish the level of service was absolutely amazing. The spa was clean and welcoming, with even a last minute treatment booking slot for both of us which was a lovely treat. The seasonal menu option looked amazing but we opted for more casual dining in the bar/lounge area where all the staff were super attentive and went the extra mile for my girlfriends birthday surprise. Feature room was amazing! Everything so clean and comfortable with the extra added view of the garden. Definitely recommend to anyone considering but maybe book some treatments in advance if you don’t have the same luck as we did.

The service was impeccable from Rebecca on reception to Tom service and spa team it was effortless to check in both at reception and spa area and nothing was too much trouble My massage with Kelly was also superb The room was fab and the food was spot on highly recommend a stay!

The staff could not have been better. My daughter left a gold necklace in her robe pocket at the spa and they found it and returned it. We had an early start and they provided a lovely packed breakfast. Reception staff were so kind and the check in process fluent. Parking was simple and the room beautiful. We hope to return.

The staff are this hotel’s biggest asset. From the moment we arrived to our departure they were so helpful and friendly. The restaurant is excellent and the chef’s choice menu superb. Brilliant spa next door too.

Me my wife and 7 month old son have just spent 2 nights at Rookery Hall Hotel and it was amazing. The staff were all so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Even getting a cot, bottle steriliser and blankets for my son. The spa treatments are also amazing and well worth the money. Highly recommend the hotel and look forward to staying again in the future.

Sorry found the pool area too hot and very noisy from the water jets on and the acoustics. It would have been nice to have an outdoor area by the pool with sun loungers. All the staff are so polite and well-trained, and this seems to be across the group. You should all be very proud of this, and we will be back.

The lovely Magdalena (Mags) on reception was very welcoming offering a glass of champagne whilst checking in. She upgraded our room, helped with our bags and showed us round the room. The room was beautiful with tea/coffee facilities and fresh milk in the fridge. Toiletries were very nice. The bed was huge and super comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The room in the hotel was awful - no better than a travel hotel - we laid £360 for the night and was very disappointed indeed - had we booked direct through the hotel we could have had a beautiful room for less or the same price - I have lost faith in booking through hotels.com

We always have a lovely stay here and this is mostly down to the excellent staff who make it there mission to cater for your needs. When tou have any issues they deal with them instantly. recommendations are taken serious and of the two things i mentioned on my last visit was delighted they had been implimented. Well done again to all another fabulous stay

Lovely dog friendly hotel in a beautiful setting. All staff were welcoming and friendly. Dinner and breakfast very good (eat in dog friendly area at the bar). Did not have time to use the spa and pool.

Lovely dog friendly hotel in a beautiful setting. All staff were welcoming and friendly. Dinner and breakfast very good (eat in dog friendly area at the bar). Did not have time to use the spa and pool.

We had a wonderful stay for my wife’s 60th birthday. Great room, service and attention to detail. All the staff are very helpful. Had an excellent meal in the restaurant and enjoyed the fabulous spa facilities. Highly recommended and will definitely visit again

The service was impeccable from Rebecca on reception to Tom service and spa team it was effortless to check in both at reception and spa area and nothing was too much trouble My massage with Kelly was also superb The room was fab and the food was spot on highly recommend a stay!

The staff are this hotel’s biggest asset. From the moment we arrived to our departure they were so helpful and friendly. The restaurant is excellent and the chef’s choice menu superb. Brilliant spa next door too.

Idyllic spot, close to town, excellent food, and professional service. I have stayed before and will do so again. (Tip: a traditionally popular wedding venue, so it is worth checking for party bookings in advance.)

Amazing break! Staff all friendly. Food in main restaurant was amazing and had a great massage at spa by Hannah. Spa was all lovely and clean and not overcrowded. The only thing was the relaxation room was not open after our massage as we chose the last session. The pastries at breakfast were not worth the calories as a bit stodgy. Other dishes were absolutely amazing. Thanks

I was greeted by Josh who was not as friendly as I would have liked. He came across a little abrupt. Josh looked like he didn't want to be there and it was an effort on his part, not I feel a good representation.l of Hand-picked Hotels standard.Peter on the other hand who kindly took my luggage showed me around gave me various useful pieces of information was excellent.I checked into my room 212 which overall adequate.Fair sized room.Bottled water, good.Separate bath & shower jets didn't work,flew out, little water. Room smelt odd, windows were open but it didn't smell pleasant at all.No coffee pod machine especially for a higher end priced room. Cows milk, non-dairy options? Sink & shower screen had black build and limescale, see photos, requires cleaning, unhygienic & under bath tap, dirty toilet brush holder base.Jo in the Spa was excellent, very well presented very welcoming, very friendly & helpful, professional & a credit.Rebecca front of house, excellent, very smartly dressed, professional, extremely polite & courteous. Great service, another gem.Hannah at breakfast was lovely, super coffee, very polite, friendly, efficient & professional.Very well presented & friendly.Luis on the bar, lovely guy, a very gifted barman, extremely polite & attentive, a credit.Helen & Collettee @ breakfast, very loudly spoken, very noisy clearing tables.
