Lakes Hotel & Spa

This is the best hotel I have stayed in for a very long time. Every single detail was perfect. Staff were attentive, room and property beautifully maintained and clean. Food was amazing. Spa was so relaxing and enjoyable. We will certainly be back. Only tiny thing I would change if I could - free parking for guests. That’s all. £12 a night was a bit expensive when we had two nights. Still amazing and all the positivities out weighed that.

Staff were all really friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, free room upgrade to a junior suite with a hot tub absolutely made our day. Spa is included and you can go in it at any time without having to book or pay extra and it’s open late at night. 11am check out which is great as a lot of places do 10am which we find really early. Really good food in the pub. Really relaxing stay. This is our second time here and we will return.

We stayed in a room with hot tub, it was gorgeous. The view was nice. They provided towels, robes and slippers. There were also shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the room. We had food in the onsite pub which was lovely we really enjoyed it. The spa is also very nice and relaxing and you are able to order drinks in there. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel. The concierge was very welcoming and gave us a tour and showed us to our room.

We had a beautiful room which was very spacious overlooking the lake. There was a lack of storage, but we managed. The hotel is stunning and I love the younger vibe. The staff are trained to an extremely high standard which was very evident. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We loved the cocktail bar and Mizumi, their Asian fusion Restaurant on site. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice, including delicious coffee. It would’ve been nice to have bottled water in the room rather than have to ask for it at reception, but this was just a minor inconvenience. It was a truly lovely stay and I would recommend this hotel.

Great hotel and location, welcoming staff that couldnt do enough for you. Will definately revisit
