Aphrodites Group - Luxury Hot Tub Suites in Central Lake District!

Lovely room but had a musky smell to it. We booked a room with a garden to sit outside but there was a strong smell outside on the first night so we could not sit out or get in the hot tub. Breakfasts was lovely..Would be nice to have more towels available as we stayed for two nights.

We stayed in the Love Haven which was lovely and we had a lovely stay but have to give a bad review on the basis we went to shower in the morning before check out and noticed water was dripping through one of the lights downstairs. We immediately turned it off due to health and safety. When we reported to reception we were told oh yeah maintenance know about it but it’s a big job. When I queried this being a health and safety issue, I did not get a response. They also did not seem bothered that we had not been able to shower before check out. This just ruined the whole stay that our safety had not been considered but it did not seem to be a problem for them

Room was nice and clean, towels which were made into swans was a nice touch, more towels could have been supplied especially with having a hot tub, no bathroom amenities I asked reception and they said due to the Christmas/new year they had no supply. Not what to expect when this Aphrodite’s was one of the pricier accommodations we were looking at. Not to the standard we had expected. Breakfast was delivered to our room each morning, food was good. The hallway had a musky smell.
