Fantastic experience. It was a dreamy room with a dreamy view. The interior of the hotel has got a modern touch while still upholding the traditional, English structures. Every staff member is dedicated to help you with anything you need. They will always greet you and make you feel welcome. The manager/owner checked in personally with us about our stay and we had this optimistic conversation about having Halal options in the near future. Hotel is well equipped with all the necessary features. We were given an iron, ironing board and a fan upon request. Everything was neat and clean. Made our anniversary trip very very special. Thank you Borrowdale Gates!

A great stay, staff extremely helpful and freindly. We arrived with a 6 week old baby and hotel did everything possible to accomodate us. Breakfast was great, in general very enjoyable. Evening meal was very enjoyable though a little on the expensive side tbh. Overall would highly reccommend.

Lovely hotel but not having air conditioning during the hot summer months is not great. Also for a high end hotel you would think they would have decent fans. Not a £30 thing from Argos.
