Nethway Hotel

Owners Julie & Gary are friendly and ever present. It feels more like a B&B than a hotel in that respect. We used it as a quiet base for day trips in and around the area and it is in a good location for that. We had a family room and it was split into two creating a seperate space for the children rather than just having all the beds next to each other like a lot of places do. Its an old building with all the character that comes with it like high ceilings and creaky floorboards underfoot but we didn't hear the other guests when we were in our room and it was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good with a selection of cereals, juices and a cooked breakfast made to order. The only downside was that the cooked breakfast didn't come with black pudding. Despite the black pudding scandal we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely make Nethway Hotel our base again the next time we visit Torquay,

Very welcoming owners on arrival, we booked a family room which was spacious and suited our needs as we spent most of the time out exploring the area. Breakfast is great with good quality items. We found it to be a nice relaxing environment. Would definitely stay here again if we returned to Torquay

We had a long weekend in Torquay and stayed at the Nethway Hotel. The hotel is great value, especially with the included breakfast and free parking. There is also a very personal service, with the owners Julie and Gary super helpful with ideas for dinner or places to see. The hotel is also in a great location for walking to the town, beach or marina so it was nice to leave the car parked up and take a break from driving whilst we were there. Looking forward to our next visit!
