Received a friendly welcome from the host. We had a lovely high ceiling double room with all the essential amenities. Breakfast was nice but maybe better quality sausages and orange juice. Overall good location and nice walking distance to town centre.

The superior room was the best accommodation we have stayed in when staying in a bed and breakfast and also better than a lot of hotels we have stayed in. Debs is a very good host going the extra mile for our needs. Breakfast was delicious. Second morning I had fresh fruit salad, small English breakfast, pancakes and yoghurt which was all outstanding. We will definitely going back.

Acorn Lodge was very clean, neat and tidy. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. There was parking at the rear or plenty street at the front. I can recommend a stay here.

Room spotless, everything was thought of, including fluffy bath sheets, flannel, etc, the shower was perfect too. The decor was of a high standard, cannot think of anything negative at all. The staff ensured all my needs were met (gluten free options) Breakfast was superb, cooked beautifully. The location was great too as besides a carpark there was ample free parking in the road. This B&B far outweighs any of the other many places I have stayed in at Torbay, I have used many as I have family there. THANK YOU, will see you again. Pauline

We had a charming, characterful room, comfy bed spotlessly clean, and modern stylish en suite. Everything we need for a mini break in the area. Our hosts were friendly, helpful, and so welcoming. Lovely breakfast room, and delicious cooked to order breakfast.
