My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. We reserved a Deluxe Double Sea View Room with Balcony (room 5) and were not disappointed. The bed was very comfortable, the balcony a great size (large enough for two loungers and two chairs0 and the view was stunning. It was a bit overcast when we arrived so we made use of the excellent indoor pool and jacuzzi (we had it all to ourselves). You can get to the beach directly from the hotel garden and it's a very quiet beach with lovely sand and decent surf. The hotel staff were very attentive and welcoming and the food (dinner and breakfast) was very good. All in all, a really enjoyable stay and we would have no hesitation in recommending it based on our experience.

Fabulous location! Room had amazing sea view with floor to ceiling bay window so you could sit in bed looking out over to Woolacoombe. Food was fantastic, breakfast and Bistro. Did not try the fine dining as just not our thing. Weather was lovely so we had all our meals on the terrace. Sun beds on the lawn were very comfortable, perhaps could do with a couple more as it’s such a great spot. Spent an afternoon at Coombesgate beach which is next to hotel and much quieter than Woolacoombe or barricane. Definitely take the walk out to morte point… stunning!! A real treat for us, our second break here and we cannot wait to go back. Oh… did I mention the sunsets!?!

Lovely location , lovely food . Poor service in restaurant , possibly not enough staff. Indoor pool freezing 26/27 outdoor pool only warm if sun remains out with no wind . Slight warm jets go into it on a timer . Apparently both pools are better heated in 6 weeks summer hols.

Lovely. Peaceful. Nice view. Enjoyed using pool, steam room & jacuzzi. Staff lovely. Bed comfortable and bedlinen smelt nice. Lovely Occitane toiletries.

Excellent service by Sarah on reception who provided us with an upgrade. Lovely room. Nice swimming pool (to ourselves) & steam room. Evening meal in the bistro was first class - the meal was excellent. The overall hotel facilities couldn’t have been better. This review sounds a bit ‘gushy’ but all I can say is that we both had a wonderful stay!

Meal was disappointing and overpriced for what was presented. Good breakfast but so it should be at the price. Our room 14 suffered from the air conditioning in the pool below our room being on until after mid night and this was an upgrade. We will not be returning

Fabulous hotel with the most amazing sea views. The staff are super friendly, helpful & respectful. We have stayed in the supine room previous & this time at the back of the hotel as they are the cheaper rooms. Very comfortable nevertheless. We made the most of the sun terrace as it was beautiful weather. The breakfast is lovely as are the views from the restaurant. We highly recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay very much and the Staff were kind and obliging. As I am a little disabled found it very difficult in the Shower as nothing to hold on to and also outside the lift on the 1st floor the two steps to the right would be much easier with a hand rail. Views superb, and very warm and comfortable. Lovely Break.

The view, quiet and being away from midtown noise. Easy walk to everything. Property needs a little upgrading. Loved the in room personal touches which made a big difference to the stay. The second room of our stay was very small and not conducive to long stays. Very courteous staff.

Very pleasant stay. Very comfortable bed. As the name suggests, there’s no window in the Sun Pipe rooms but otherwise it was large with a good bathroom, air con and internet.

My partner and I stayed here for two nights in mid October and had a lovely stay - the location of the hotel is beautiful. The room was comfortable with a sea view (as we requested) and the breakfast was really good - cooked options as well as pastries, cereal, fruits etc! We also ate at the Rocks Restaurant which I'd highly recommend, the food and service were both brilliant.

My partner and I stayed here for two nights in mid October and had a lovely stay - the location of the hotel is beautiful. The room was comfortable with a sea view (as we requested) and the breakfast was really good - cooked options as well as pastries, cereal, fruits etc! We also ate at the Rocks Restaurant which I'd highly recommend, the food and service were both brilliant.

We had a wonderful weekend enjoying the scenery and local area. I would give this 5 stars if it wasn't for price vs level of service and attention to detail which left a bit to be desired despite good intentions.

We enjoyed meeting all Staff and found everyone really helpful and friendly. Lovely room, very comfortable. Nice lounge areas too and no dogs. The only thing we found challenging was that the menu for the evening meals didn't change. After two nights, we were lucky that a BBQ had been organised so we could order that for a change. Unfortunately, the BBQ finished at 5pm which was rather early for an evening meal.

amazing hotel, room ready early for check in, room was lovely great sea view. The food at the restaurant was amazing as good as any Michelin starred establishment. Service was excellent. The walk down to the beach the next morning was awesome. Really first class all the way would definitely stay there again.

Our stay at the Watersmeet hotel in Woolacombe could not have better, the views from the hotel were to die for, the hotel staff were both friendly and helpful and nothing was to much trouble. The standard of the food was very good. All in all an excellent hotel that I would definitely recommend to my friends.

Fabulous location! Room had amazing sea view with floor to ceiling bay window so you could sit in bed looking out over to Woolacoombe. Food was fantastic, breakfast and Bistro. Did not try the fine dining as just not our thing. Weather was lovely so we had all our meals on the terrace. Sun beds on the lawn were very comfortable, perhaps could do with a couple more as it’s such a great spot. Spent an afternoon at Coombesgate beach which is next to hotel and much quieter than Woolacoombe or barricane. Definitely take the walk out to morte point… stunning!! A real treat for us, our second break here and we cannot wait to go back. Oh… did I mention the sunsets!?!

My partner and I stayed here for two nights in mid October and had a lovely stay - the location of the hotel is beautiful. The room was comfortable with a sea view (as we requested) and the breakfast was really good - cooked options as well as pastries, cereal, fruits etc! We also ate at the Rocks Restaurant which I'd highly recommend, the food and service were both brilliant.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. We reserved a Deluxe Double Sea View Room with Balcony (room 5) and were not disappointed. The bed was very comfortable, the balcony a great size (large enough for two loungers and two chairs0 and the view was stunning. It was a bit overcast when we arrived so we made use of the excellent indoor pool and jacuzzi (we had it all to ourselves). You can get to the beach directly from the hotel garden and it's a very quiet beach with lovely sand and decent surf. The hotel staff were very attentive and welcoming and the food (dinner and breakfast) was very good. All in all, a really enjoyable stay and we would have no hesitation in recommending it based on our experience.

The hotel is beautiful, sat overlooking the water. The dining room offers glorious views, and the dinner and breakfast were very good. The service was amazing, effective and friendly, from the receptionist to the restaurant staff. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The indoor swimming pool was very nice for a morning dip- good water temperature. I wholeheartedly recommend this stunning hotel.

We enjoyed meeting all Staff and found everyone really helpful and friendly. Lovely room, very comfortable. Nice lounge areas too and no dogs. The only thing we found challenging was that the menu for the evening meals didn't change. After two nights, we were lucky that a BBQ had been organised so we could order that for a change. Unfortunately, the BBQ finished at 5pm which was rather early for an evening meal.

Meal was disappointing and overpriced for what was presented. Good breakfast but so it should be at the price. Our room 14 suffered from the air conditioning in the pool below our room being on until after mid night and this was an upgrade. We will not be returning

amazing hotel, room ready early for check in, room was lovely great sea view. The food at the restaurant was amazing as good as any Michelin starred establishment. Service was excellent. The walk down to the beach the next morning was awesome. Really first class all the way would definitely stay there again.

Booked this hotel for the spa facilities. Positives. Location is beautiful. Staff polite, friendly and helpful. Lounge area, restaurant and bar were very nice. Outdoor pool and terraces's were lovely with stunning views. Room was clean. Food was very good. We arrived earlier than check in and were pleased to be able to use the spa facilities before check in time. Negatives. Spa is disappointing , the changing area is communual and tiny with barely enough room for 2 people to change. One steam room which did not appear to be on. The indoor pool was very very small so we didnt bother. Fortunately the weather was hot so we used the outdoor pool. Had it been the winter I would not have been happy at all. Cant comment on the treatment room as they were fully booked. My own fault as tried to book a treatment with only a week to go before our arrival. It seems there is only one therapist a day working so would recommend booking way in advance to avoid disappointment. Room had no window except a small skylight which felt quite oppresive. Bed was not very comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities were located on the top shelf of the wardrobe which was odd. For the price of a night here I would expect more in the room, flannels in the bathroom a room safe and better coffee not just instant coffee satchets. There wasn't any information in the room re wifi, room service if it was available etc. If you're looking for a spa hotel you will be sorely disappointed.

Overall a very good experience, location perfect with nothing but the sound of the sea and fantastic views. Slight criticism over the quality of the 'English Breakfast' which did not appear to be cooked individually but 'assembled' from pre-cooked. The other restaurant food was truly excellent and imaginative, well done to the evening chef. Will come again.

My wife and I had a truly excellent stay! The room was wonderful, and that bed was so comfortable. Waking up to the great view of the sea in the morning was just amazing. Plus, the location couldn't have been more perfect for walking on the beach. And the staff were all so nice and helpful throughout our visit. Scrumptuous breakfast as well.
