Lovely bedrooms, spacious & beautifully decorated with an original fireplace, in a gorgeous Georgian house in the town centre with a cosy ensuite All shops & restaurants on the doorstep. Easy parking in a private car park at the rear. The owner is a very hospitable and helpful lady. Tewkesbury looked very festive and attractive . Would definitely stay here again even though Im fairly local & could have driven home after meeting up with friends .

Super B&B loved our stay, perfect location, room big and comfy, no complaints. Lovely host Joan. Food was very fresh. A few parking spaces but if you cant get on there is one a few yards away which is very reasonably priced.

This property is outstanding in its location, in its cleanliness and comfortable room. Run by Joan, who is extremely helpful with any queries you might have, going out of her way to assist, she is a real professional, and likewise the waitress we had was exceptional. The accommodation was possibly the best we've ever had for peace and quiet, and again the breakfast was superb, one of our best ever we've had. We are looking forward to returning whenever we get the chance as it's so good.

Jessop House is located in the heart of the town opposite the amazing Abbey. We stayed in the four poster suite which was very spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful, the whole place was very clean and a great breakfast choice.

My fault - I assumed this was a full service hotel but it’s a basic B&B The room was ok and overall everything was clean. Probably best if they remove the word Hotel from the title as this is what misled me. Position wise the accommodation is close to everything Tewkesbury has to offer. If you are looking for a B&B it’s fine - but it’s not a hotel.

This is a lovely place, immaculately clean. I would have given 5 stars but sadly it was very noisy due to being next to road, the bed and pillows were also rock hard (that’s just a personal preference liking a softer one!) But location was great, rooms are huge! I would return another time (with my own pillow)

I was very disappointed with the size of the bathroom and the wash hand basin in the bedroom not in the bathroom !! Very different room to the pictures on the website, dark and a bit gloomy Very clean, comfortable bed The breakfast was made to order, which was good, but very small portions eg 1 slice of toast and about 1 tbs baked beans!! Was looking forward to the fantastic breakfast from the review, but although freshly cooked definitely not enough

Second time at this lovely quirky hotel. Room was gorgeous- beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Shower and toilet hidden in cupboards but worked fine ! Breakfast very good in an opulently decorated dining room. Location fantastic. Will definitely be returning

We had a very comfortable stay in the family room. Breakfast was delicious. Tewkesbury is charming. Note: the church bell rings all quarter hours and full hour counts all night. It made it difficult for some of our party to sleep, but this had nothing to do with Jessop House.

We were met by Joan who was extremely hospitable and helpful with recommendations for restaurants, etc. Very good breakfast which was freshly prepared to order. We did contact to say our time of arrival and telephoned ahead too but there was no answer. We liked the room although the bells are continuous through the night which seems unnecessary. Can the church council not consider the noise pollution? We thought it good value for money and the breakfast is more than substantial. The coffee quality wasn't great though and we are unclear why we needed to breakfast at 8am on a Sunday, seemed too early for a Sunday we felt. Staff are very pleasant and accomodating, thank you

Weekend for a wedding - we were a party of 8 people and were really pleased with our choice of hotel. The owner was very accommodating and allowed to enter our room earlier than the check in time to get ready for the wedding.The beds were really comfortable and the facilities in the room were great. We had a great choice of breakfast and would definitely stay here again.

We had a Beautiful Stay at the Jessop Hotel Joan the Owner was very obliging helped carry our bags to the room and showed us all the amenities in the room. Breakfast was lovely ***** . Close to all the shops and Restaurants . Will stay there again definitely.

Super B&B loved our stay, perfect location, room big and comfy, no complaints. Lovely host Joan. Food was very fresh. A few parking spaces but if you cant get on there is one a few yards away which is very reasonably priced.

Jessop House is located in the heart of the town opposite the amazing Abbey. We stayed in the four poster suite which was very spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful, the whole place was very clean and a great breakfast choice.

Our stay was excellent. Our host was very helpful, and the breakfasts set us up for the day! The bedroom had all the amenities we needed. Jessop House is very conveniently located close to the Abbey, museum and river.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the four poster suite. Very comfortable bed and lovely shower. We were met by Joan who was extremely hospitable and helpful with recommendations for restaurants, etc. Very good breakfast which was freshly prepared to order. Property is conveniently located close to the town centre. Will definitely stay here again when next in the area.

We had a Beautiful Stay at the Jessop Hotel Joan the Owner was very obliging helped carry our bags to the room and showed us all the amenities in the room. Breakfast was lovely ***** . Close to all the shops and Restaurants . Will stay there again definitely.

This property is outstanding in its location, in its cleanliness and comfortable room. Run by Joan, who is extremely helpful with any queries you might have, going out of her way to assist, she is a real professional, and likewise the waitress we had was exceptional. The accommodation was possibly the best we've ever had for peace and quiet, and again the breakfast was superb, one of our best ever we've had. We are looking forward to returning whenever we get the chance as it's so good.

I was very disappointed with the size of the bathroom and the wash hand basin in the bedroom not in the bathroom !! Very different room to the pictures on the website, dark and a bit gloomy Very clean, comfortable bed The breakfast was made to order, which was good, but very small portions eg 1 slice of toast and about 1 tbs baked beans!! Was looking forward to the fantastic breakfast from the review, but although freshly cooked definitely not enough

Hotel is just so lovely. Extremely clean and beautifully presented. Breakfast was excellent. Parking a little difficult to find, as no clear markings but once located, it was good. A really lovely stay.

We did contact to say our time of arrival and telephoned ahead too but there was no answer. We liked the room although the bells are continuous through the night which seems unnecessary. Can the church council not consider the noise pollution? We thought it good value for money and the breakfast is more than substantial. The coffee quality wasn't great though and we are unclear why we needed to breakfast at 8am on a Sunday, seemed too early for a Sunday we felt. Staff are very pleasant and accomodating, thank you

Lovely stay at Jessop House, fantastic room. Plenty of little personal touches in the room. Great breakfast, several options to choice from and all freshly cooked. Staff welcoming, friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Would definitely recommend Jessop House.

Weekend for a wedding - we were a party of 8 people and were really pleased with our choice of hotel. The owner was very accommodating and allowed to enter our room earlier than the check in time to get ready for the wedding.The beds were really comfortable and the facilities in the room were great. We had a great choice of breakfast and would definitely stay here again.

A very relaxed stay in a beautiful stylish house with all comforts. The executive suite is very spacious and the bed very comfortable, it is on the roadside but we didn’t hear traffic but did use eye mask for the light after closing the blinds still allowed a little through and we had a great sleep. Breakfast offered several choices so something for everyone and it was plentiful & delicious. We highly recommend a stay here and an explore around Tewkesbury

Joan welcomed us when we arrived, showing us to our room and providing us with local information. Our room was lovely, on the top floor overlooking the abbey. Very nicely decorated with a lovely comfortable bed and a sofa. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options. Would definitely stay at Jessop House again.

Lovely place ! Really impressed ! Joan needs to chill out and get some help but she really is a great host and presents beautiful rooms, lovely house, fabulous location and convenient parking albeit a little odd with not really knowing who is going when and how to contact each other if you are out so take note and swap numbers maybe ? Can’t fault it though and as much as brekkie was a little fatty towers it was excellent and a nice atmosphere all round.

This is a bed and breakfast establishment in the lovely town of Tewkesbury. It is well placed in the town with easy parking and good restaurants nearby. The establishment was fine, a nice bedroom and good breakfast. Unfortunately the experience did not get off to a good start as when we arrived the venue was closed and nobody there. I had to contact customer services at Hotels. Com who eventually got hold of the owner and we gained access. What made me angry as the owner felt it was my fault and why didn’t I ring her direct. So not a good start.
