Fühlten uns wie Fremde im eigenen Land. Nur englisch sprechendes Personal. Sehr sehr schade. Erwarten anderes in einem Berghotel in der Deutschschweiz!Da ist definitiv noch Luft nach oben…Der Aufenthalt war bis auf einen Stromunterbruch von 2,5 Stunden sonst in Ordnung.

景色はもちろん天気次第です。ホテルとしては5つ星クラス。氷河側の部屋でも十分泊まる価値あり。夜も出入り自由なので、星空鑑賞、早朝マッターホルン鑑賞も可能です。朝食は8:00~なので空腹に注意。もちろんスーパーマーケットなんか周りにあるはずもなく(笑)

Staying the night here was a night we will never forget. We had a suite which had the most incredible views - it actually stole my breath away. Totally incredible! The meal we had was exceptional. If you are thinking of staying here don’t delay, it was a night I will never forget.

Overall fantastic - views are second to none. The hiking around the area is unreal and it’s great to be there before the first train and tourists descend. Dinner was amazing and servers were extremely attentive. Only feedback is that for the price they could have proper coffee machines in the room! Small thing but in other cheaper hotels there were real coffee machines whereas this was cheap sachets… with nothing else around it would be nice to have a proper coffee. Everything else was amazing and worth it for the location and food

It was a huge help to learn that the hotel offered a suitcase delivery service to Zermatt. Thanks to that, I was able to hike down the mountain. The service at the reception desk was extremely courteous.

The hotel location is spectacular. We enjoyed the views immensley. I was a little worries about the set dinner, but was happy with the options in the end. Views of the Matterhorn were great from the dining room. At night the stars came out. The lady at reception kindly let us view the observatory too. No scientists were present, but clearly it was rwmotely operated. At night the observatory roof openend. No hesitation to stay again, despite the price tag! In the morning the train staff took our luggage down (for a fee) and we were able to walk down. That was such a beneficial option to have.

Good meals but recommend not to stay overnight if you have high mountain pressure issue. One day trip to Conergrat is enough.
