Ramada London South Mimms

Was worried about staying here after reading the reviews. However, it was fine. The only issue I can't confirm is whether there is hot water in the morning. I didn't use the shower so no idea. And the couch in the photos was missing from the room. Didn't really need it so no big deal. The staff was courteous and the service area next door is handy if you need a bite to eat any time of night. The bed is super firm so it'll be uncomfortable if you don't like that style of mattress. The heating worked great. Parking was easy. Just park anywhere and give them your plate number at reception. Didn't try the fan. All in all, would stay again. Good value for money.

I will recommend not to include the breakfast when you book as you need to walk to next door with a voucher and you can have a better breakfast chosen by yourselves.

Very friendly and helpful staff on the front desk at all times. The room was a bit tired - but no complaints for the price.

I was met at check in by Umer, who couldn't have been more helpful. He ensured that everything was perfect. The room was quiet and very clean. The added bonus of the reserve behind the hotel for a walk after work made the stay even better. Parking was easy and Umer ensured that my car was registered for the entirety of the stay. Breakfast was served at the nearby service station, two minute walk, and was really nice.

Pity you can’t check details else you would see I did not stay there as I got a phone call to say there was a problem with the hotel and they would have to move me to another hotel 30 minutes away as it was a busy weekend with football at Wembley they did say I would get a 50% discount as a good will but as yet not hear anything about a refund
