Stayed over for a friend’s birthday party ,all was well,had a sandwich from bar lovely ,then got a call the lift was broken! They had to carry me downstairs in the emergency chair,my back is still hurting, it wasn’t their fault they were very kind an apologetic but you need a better chair as my back is bruised and sore as I felt every step as I was bumped down 6 flights of stairs

The location is convenient with free parking and a decent breakfast. The room was comfortable and exactly what I needed for a one night stay to call home whilst in Manchester. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful. They helped with my luggage and giving me directions to Blackpool and were just generally cheerful. I would definitely stay again as it presents good value for money in a nice part of Manchester...yes I know it is technically Cheshire.

Regularly stay here when attending Manchester United home games. Good value with easy parking and very near to town center. Excellent ram service into Manchester. Beer a little pricey in the hotel but there are nearby alternatives. Breakfast OK.

Arrived at hotel and checked in. Room was given and was so hot in there with no way turning the heating down as the valve on the radiator was broken. New room was offered. Bathroom was tiny and WiFi connection was really poor. I was unable to do any work because of this. Overall experience was very disappointing.

Lovely room but only two teabags. The lift wasn't working so we had to walk up two flights of stairs with luggage. Breakfast was good but no jam to have with the croissants.

Great hotel for the price paid. Only downside was that hotel only had 1 x EV charger which was broken so a little bit of an inconvenience.

1st impression, the hotel was a bit dated on the outside. Loads of spaces for parking. Just remember to validate your vehicle reg on the tablet in reception.Check in was easy, staff polite and pleasant. The place was busy.Plenty of space in the bar/reception area. Room was ok. We were put in a room overlooking the road. Double glazed windows didn't close properly. You could hear traffic outside and people talking as they walked past. Not a massive issue.Room was OK, clean and tidyish. Corridors needed a bit of TLC,which I think is actually on the way. Best part of it was the breakfast, it was lovely. Overall I'd give the place a generous 7/10. Would I stay again? Not sure tbh.

Stayed here for a night before an early flight out from Manchester. Room was a little dated but clean. Car park was big though charged £1.50 for the night. Easy route if travelling to Manchester. Would stay again for the convenience.

This was the worst hotel I have ever been to. It was so bad in fact, I did not spend one night and was sadly charged the 3 nights that I had paid in advance. The rooms are very dated and the standard of cleanliness is poor. I would not recommend this hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room very large. However the carpet was very stained and the bathroom dated from another century. For us to shower, we had only a trickle of water.

I was shocked how how run down and ill kept the property is now. We have stayed many times but not since 2018. Our room was dirty - stains on chairs and carpets. Shower curtain was extremely dirty and ripped. Bathroom walls had actual spots of dirt. Chairs in the lounge were threadbare and worn out. Will not stay here again.

Terrible hotel. The first room I checked in to, the bed hadn’t been made and I doubt the room had been cleaned either. When I complained to the front desk, they kindly upgraded me and gave me a voucher for a free drink. I was upgraded to a Superior S room. Lovely, I thought. The room itself was very large, almost “suite” like. But, it was very dated. The tv was from 1981 and had no hdmi port so unable to use a Firestick, the wallpaper was coming away from the wall, the extractor fan made a sound like a banshee when the light was turned on (seriously I’d post a video if I could) and the open window was open because it didn’t fit into its hole, and when I tried to close it, the handle came off in my hand. So I had to sleep with the window open and listen to the traffic all night. Terrible experience. Giving one star as the bed was very comfy and the staff were nice.

The hotel looked quite modern from the outside however my room was very dated and mould was all around the accessible shower, making it completly unusable and very unpleasant. I was only there for one night so made do. Plenty of parking on site. There was a gorgeous market square, just a 5minute walk from the hotel where i went for breakfast, after a recommendation from my friend - highly recommend this!

Ideal for airport stay but attention needed to cleaning. Mouldy corners in bathroom grubby light fittings. Overall very comfy and lovely staff so would use again. Great transfer service to airport.

Stayed for one night for business purposes. The hotel was clean and tidy. The food at the hotel was of a good standard, with decent portion sizes. Overall everything worked as it should, which made for a pleasant, albeit brief stay. Well worth a wander around Altrincham as it's a lovely town.

Whilst the hotel was generally clean and tidy it was definitely showing signs of age. This showed up in little items such as the carpet in the lift being spotted (maybe chewing gum or similar?), corners of rooms not being very well cleaned, some woodwork in different areas not in great condition. Staff were excellent - friendly and helpful. The room was quite basic. No drawer storage and just a small open hanging space. OK to stay for a couple of nights but I would not want to use this for a week as a base for exploring the area.

Room was nice facing the road though so not very quite as it was a main road had to have the windows open it was so hot breakfast was ok but olif you go early it's not nice bacon like cardboard couldn't change the toaster setting so toast was burnt eggs on the hot plate too long, beans were cold day two was better as I went about 8.30 Ammaarah didn't try the cooked breakfast though after day one

I have never stayed in a hotel with such an awful, uncomfortable bed. Would have been more comfortable sleeping in the bath!! Property is old and in dire need of renovation.

The beds are small very uncomfortable, the bathrooms are old and very dated, the shower I was very weak, all in all I wouldn’t never there again, give me a big comfortable bed at the premier inn any day of the week

Room was tired and very grubby. No Aircon and limited window opening meant the room was stiflingly hot even in May. Very noisy during the night too. All in made for a very poor stay.

Brocken tiles in the hotel entrance. Entrance had not been swept and cleaned for quite some time. Furniture in the bar was old worn out and shabby. We ordered a wake up call which didn’t happen. Overall disappointing

Restaurant staff on Thursday night (09/11/23) were very good and courteous. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Our room was clean, but a bit dated and in need of redecoration with crumbling ceiling plaster and tiled walls. My main negative rating was from a short black female lounge bar waitress called Rosey? (Friday night 10/11/23) who refused to make me a coffee on the grounds that she was "too busy"! After waiting my turn in the queue, the dismissive manner in which she spoke to me was not only rude but professionally unacceptable! And this was before the cut-off time when the coffee machine is switched off for the night. Her white male bar colleague overheard our conversation and made me a cup of coffee as requested. He was great - the previous evening, he even brought up our bottle of Prosecco and other drinks on a tray to our room! We were part of a 100-strong funeral group booking. The reception staff were great and courteous.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel on the evening of 26/9/2024 and left for an early morning flight on 27/9. We had also booked to stay on 30/9 but when we arrived just before midnight we were informed that our room with a kingsize bed had been given to someone else and all that was available was a small room with a double bed. We were immediately told that to compensate for this we would could have a complimentary breakfast in the morning As we had already paid for breakfast the receptionist was unsure what compensation we could be given. She stated that she was unable to upgrade our room. Because of the lateness we accepted the double room (Room 321). This room is small and dingy. Curtains are soiled and creased. The bedding was clean The bathroom is very small. There were no towels, however the receptionist brought these to the room shortly after we informed her of this. The breakfast was enjoyable with a varied choice of cereals, juices and hot food. The cost of a taxi to get to Manchester airport was £23.

On going to our room we were stopped at the lift by one of the workers (the concierge) questioned on what was in our bags. The lady was very rude. Despite us telling her that the Alchohol in our shopping was a present , she was very rude and humiliated my partner in front of everybody. We were taking our stuff to our room not to the wedding function room she had no right to question us what was in our bags and let alone say it in such a rude manner! Unbelievable! Fair to say her behaviour spoilt it for our stay. To be fair the other workers were very nice and pleasant but unfortunately that one rotten apple spoilt it for everybody.

Hotel was nice and clean, the bar staff were friendly and prices reasonable. Mattress reasonable. Decor could do with some work but it didn’t impact on our stay.

The Room was a little bit 'tired' but very clean. The staff were professional and courteous especially the Breakfast Team, The Manageress and Alicha deserve a creditable mention for fast and friendly service. All-in-all, a positive and enjoyable stay. Patrick S.

The hotel looked quite modern from the outside however my room was very dated and mould was all around the accessible shower, making it completly unusable and very unpleasant. I was only there for one night so made do. Plenty of parking on site. There was a gorgeous market square, just a 5minute walk from the hotel where i went for breakfast, after a recommendation from my friend - highly recommend this!

The location is convenient with free parking and a decent breakfast. The room was comfortable and exactly what I needed for a one night stay to call home whilst in Manchester. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful. They helped with my luggage and giving me directions to Blackpool and were just generally cheerful. I would definitely stay again as it presents good value for money in a nice part of Manchester...yes I know it is technically Cheshire.

Regularly stay here when attending Manchester United home games. Good value with easy parking and very near to town center. Excellent ram service into Manchester. Beer a little pricey in the hotel but there are nearby alternatives. Breakfast OK.

Stayed here for a night before an early flight out from Manchester. Room was a little dated but clean. Car park was big though charged £1.50 for the night. Easy route if travelling to Manchester. Would stay again for the convenience.

Room was nice facing the road though so not very quite as it was a main road had to have the windows open it was so hot breakfast was ok but olif you go early it's not nice bacon like cardboard couldn't change the toaster setting so toast was burnt eggs on the hot plate too long, beans were cold day two was better as I went about 8.30 Ammaarah didn't try the cooked breakfast though after day one

1st impression, the hotel was a bit dated on the outside. Loads of spaces for parking. Just remember to validate your vehicle reg on the tablet in reception.Check in was easy, staff polite and pleasant. The place was busy.Plenty of space in the bar/reception area. Room was ok. We were put in a room overlooking the road. Double glazed windows didn't close properly. You could hear traffic outside and people talking as they walked past. Not a massive issue.Room was OK, clean and tidyish. Corridors needed a bit of TLC,which I think is actually on the way. Best part of it was the breakfast, it was lovely. Overall I'd give the place a generous 7/10. Would I stay again? Not sure tbh.

Starting with the positives, every member of staff we encountered was exceptionally helpful and great to deal with. The restaurant food was very good, and although the dinner menu was unimaginative, everything was beautifully cooked and good to eat. Breakfast was also lovely. However, the hotel had a bit of a tired feel overall and the room we stayed in could do with a refurb. Having said this, the beds were comfortable and the room was a good temperature. Special mention for the shower - hot and powerful! Overall, a pleasant two night’s stay, only let down by aesthetics and decor.
