Broadfield Park Hotel by Belvilla

Very basic room. No linen or towel change the whole stay. No plug in the bathroom sink. Very noisy from other guests.

On driving up to the property it was obvious that the photos online were old. It is not as well kept on the outside as it appears and the statues were hidden among grass and bushes. When I arrived I asked if there was a lift and the answer was simply NO. Then told to use the stairs. The room was ok nothing special and definitely didn't reflect again what was online, however we only needed it as somewhere to sleep at the end of the evening so it served our purpose. At breakfast there no alternatives for dietary needs , dairy or gluten free, on their menu it said tell us about your dietary/ allergy needs which felt like that was a box ticking thing, as you may tell them but that's it. They do however do vegetarian, and halal food so will be good for some people To be honest it was more a let down because what we saw online wasn't what we got, but if that doesn't bother you and you can go without breakfast then it serves it's purpose. It does also have lots of parking spaces available which also is handy

Staff helpful, hotel felt a bit uncared for, could be beautiful, really convenient location, booked a deluxe room that says comes with robes but didn't and hotel says they don't provide them and never have, the room however was lovely, really big bathroom with a bidet, the shower was only a tiny cubicle though with no place to put your toiletries which was a bit of a waste of space in a. bathroom that big no bath, had double sinks. A nice for poster bed which was really comfy, but the wood around the bed was a bit annoying when trying to get out of bed. Breakfast was terrible, not worth getting up for. Just 1 slice bacon, 1 sausage, an overcooked egg and a tiny portion of beans, with no other choice except a halal breakfast, you could double up for £5 extras or a £1 per item.

It’s an old hotel but happy with room and good breakfast. Was at a gig in town and it was very handy. Nice staff
