Great property with a beautiful view of the mountains and has great waterfront. Very serene and has areas for taking walks or jog. Restaurant inside the Hotel is excellent with great breakfast place.

This is a beautiful hotel located along the waterfront. The lobby bar and restaurant are very nice and make for a great place to unwind after the day. The breakfast was top notch. Our room was spacious with beautiful views. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Convenient location within easy walking distance to restaurants, tour operators and shopping. Hotel interior nicely updated, staff informative and helpful. Guest voices and suitcase wheeling echo through the floor hallways due to hard floor surfaces and nothing to dampen the noise. Dining room chairs need replacing or repair to prevent wobbling like a rocking chair when sat upon. In the lounge use the couches, small chairs are uncomfortable. Bar service in lounge will only serve what is on the limited bar menu, declining requests to make a basic highball.

This is a beautiful property with lovely art hanging on the walls and standing on pedestals… Great staff at the desk, and the food was quite good in the bar! The room is clean and simple and elegant

Hotel Costaustralis is a beautiful hotel on the waterfront. It was easy to walk into town and explore. The room was clean and spacious and we loved the eco-friendly availability of filtered water on every level instead of disposable water bottles. The breakfast options were vast and tasty. Would definitely love to stay here again!

El Hotel es bello, le falta algo de pintura por afuera pero justo está en mantenimiento y eso sería lo único malo, que un día si quisimos dormir de más y como están remodelando hay mucho ruido y las camaristas también platican bastante y se escuchaba en la habitación. Sin embargo eso logra pasar de lado por qué las vistas desde el hotel son bellísimas hacia el mar a la hora del desayuno, puedes caminar desde ahí todo el muelle y al centro, la ubicación es ideal. El desayuno no tan variado, pero creo q es suficiente. El personal muy amable y pendiente de todo, el resto de instalaciónes y salones son preciosos, te mantienen en un ambiente mágico y tranquilo, lo recomiendo bastante.

Definitely get/request a water view. This is the best part of the hotel in my opinion. You can walk to town and get so much food in just 5min or less. - Has restaurant + bar and really nice lobby for lounging. Restaurant food was extremely average IMO, I'd just recommend going a few block away for fantastic food in town. - Free breakfast (I think this is hotel standard?), but overall wasn't fantastic. Did have fresh made omelettes which was the best part, but other was mostly different kinds of bread and spices (at least this is what I remember). - Your room will be cleaned every day unless you request otherwise. - Staff speaks great English, easy to communicate. (small) Cons: - Room amenities/service wise is relatively basic. No AC (gas heater if needed) - no fan in the room, we requested one as the only air flow is from the main window and we didn't want to have mosquitos come in at night, but they did not have a fan. That night was uncomfortably warm, but the next day we were able to leave the window open to cool the room down without the fear of bugs. It's *usually* *very* windy, so you can get insanely good airflow by opening the window. - We also requested kleenex/facial tissues which they did not have either. We were able to go to a supermarket and get some the next day.

Staff was excellent. The room was very clean and cozy. The breakfast in the morning was also great.

Small Room had two twin rollaway beds. One was unstable when I sat on it. The towel rack fell off the sink day one. No way to adjust room temp. Room smelled musty. Large price for overvalued room. Yes, a nice view from the lobby and good location. But my room view was a frosted window, the bottom of which opened onto the roof.

The room has a sewer smell and the management has been quite uncooperative about fixing it.

We had a wonderful view of the fjord and the mountains. The staff were great. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable.

From putting new battery in my luggage scale. To giving directions to ATMS and the main square. Also directions to the best coffee shops in town. The breakfast was better than average. Let use have a late check out without charge. It was a little warm and there was no AC but the window did open and make it tolerable.

Nice clean, cosy and comfortable hotel. The room we had was a bit small. The standard rooms have parking lot views. However, the Mountain View rooms have stunning snow capped Andes views. The hotel is overlooking the lake and Andes mountains. Location is very close to the central Plaza the Armas, restaurants and super makets. Breakfast is mainly cold, with cold cuts, cheese, bread, cookies, cornflakes etc. The hot breakfast option is to get an omelette freshly made. Staff and friendly and courteous. The hotel is very beautiful and clean.

We would have loved to award 5 stars for this hotel as almost everything, rooms, location, staff, food was great apart from the door slamming. Not all the hotels responsibility but they need to add soft close mechanisms to prevent this as the slamming starts at 6 am through to 2 am at this very busy hotel … even ear plugs don’t help I’m afraid,

Location wise it is pretty good. The lobby is nice. Breakfast is the same everyday, no variety. Front desk staff do not go even slightly out of the way to help. They say follow the times per the T. A few minutes late and they denied box lunch for me. I had to scramble outside at 10pm to go and find food for next day. Staff didn’t even make an attempt to help. Secondly, the corridors were loud at night, you hear everything clearly into the room. There is no AC only a heater in the room. There are other things that are good though. Overall I would rate average.

The furniture in this room looked a bit dated. On a different day I had a room facing the sea. The view was great but this room also faced the busy street which was a bit loud. The furniture in this room was good. The breakfast was the best one I had on my Chile trip. Although it’s a big hotel where travel group stays it would be my first choice when I come back to Puerto Natales.

The room was rather spartan: No bottled water, only filtered in the hallway No tissue paper No coffe maker in the. Room No ice machine on the floor had to get ice from the bar on first floor No mini fridge in the room. Safety box instruction were incirrect causing the box to close with unknown code.

The hotel was in a perfect location. Beautiful views of the lake and mountains from our room, the lobby, the bar & restaurant. Staff was great. We enjoyed the food and drinks. Perfect for our trip to Torres del Paine. The only disappointing thing was the inability to have a good nights sleep. The room was rather hot, which couldn’t be regulated. If you opened the window, the street noise was loud.

Property aging a bit and view from room was a rear car park. By contrast the view from breakfast area was great. No fridge or coffee making facility in the room.

Even the other things not bad but the wifi is very bad. We cant do any our jobs work meeting or other works. It is sad. We try to tell receptionist but they answer it is problem with your phone. And thats it.

One of the best locations in the city. Definitely worth paying for a room with a sea view. Reception, lobby facilities of the hotel is nice and friendly. It's annoying that the kitchen can't prepare a breakfast package in case of early departure for a trip. The staff at the bar is professional but considerably slow, approach confusing. If we didn't order immediately after taking a seat, we were ignored. After 15 minutes I had to order a drink at the front counter.

Very poor customer service. Latam cancelled our flight and the hotel refused to do a refund. They have ignored contact through expedia for two weeks and finally said no refund. I wouldn't recommend booking here. Property manager avoided contact with exedia. The latam flight cancellation was beyond my control and I was not able to make my reservation. I did contact the hotel as soon as I knew of the flight cancellation. I went to the hotel in person to also explain and they give you the run around about how expedia must do the cancellation but in fact they are responsible and just ignor expedias attempts of contact. I was told in writing a cancellation refund would be processed. I guess since people live so far away, they can just treat people like this.

Das Hotel ist modern ausgestattet mit großzügigen Zimmern. Das Personal ist freundlich, englischsprachig und effizient. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und steht schon früh zur Verfügung. Alles in allem eine gute Leistung bei noch angemessenem Preis.

I booked and paid for the hotel half year ago, but ridiculously I was refused to be checked in and instead I was redirected to another hotel which I didn't authorize for booking, know nothing about and was still under construction. I am requesting refund for the booking, but have not heard anything back from the hotel and Expedia as of the writing.

We had an excellent stay in the cabanas. It was nice to feel tucked away from everything while still being walking distance to the main hotel and amenities. The people working at the hotel were super kind and helpful in planning excursions, especially Juan Carlos who helped us plan a fun few days in the area. He had great insight and recommendations and we appreciated all of his help!

We were relocated to another hotel without any notification or authorization. The excuse given was heating prob in the room. it was actually an over-sell after communicating with the manager next morning.

Fiquei hospedada no Hotel Costaustralis de Puerto Natales no inverno 2024, num quarto localizado em frente ao Fiorde Última Esperança (Oceano Pacífico), e cerca de 5 quarteirões acima chegamos na Praça de Armas (a praça principal da cidade) - região onde estão localizados vários restaurante, lojas e agências turísticas. O quarto estava localizado para o mar de onde fotografei excelentes vistas do fiorde e flamingos que costumam frequentar o local no inverno. O quarto é amplo e confortável, com janela panorâmica e aquecimento e chuveiro funcionando muito bem. As áreas sociais consistem de vários ambientes com sofás e janelas também panorâmicas para o fiorde e o pequeno porto da marinha ao seu lado esquerdo. Os funcionários da recepção são bem gentis e muito prestativos. O café da manhã funciona como um continental, sem grande variedade, e acho que poderiam melhorar oferecendo um café expresso ou latte de melhor qualidade. No mais é um local muito bem localizado, com uma vista maravilhosa, num local que pela sua localização venta muito (menos no inverno). Excelente para uma estadia de base para viajantes planejando visitar lugares de interesse turístico na região. Voltaria com certeza.

Situated on the shore of Ultima Esperanza Fjord in Puerto Natales, both a destination in itself, a way station for adventures in Chilean Patagonia, and the launching point for flying to Antarctica.

It locates by the seafront and tourist attractions waterfront. Some rooms have great views of the waterfront and the mountains.

We stayed for 2 nights. Great view from our room over the water and mountains. Good location - as only a 5 minute walk from the centre of town. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We simply stayed one night to be near the airport. The hotel is on the main road which runs along the water. That makes is super convenient driving into town or to the airport. It also provides a fantastic view of the water and mountains from the lobby and bar, as well as our room since we were on the western side. The down side is the road is quite busy so your sleep may be affected if your room is on that side.

The hotel is right next to the sea. It is a great option if you want a view. It is a few blocks away from shops and restaurants, so better drive here.

We stayed one night in Janaury after hiking in Torres del Paine. In town, and up-market, fantastic in room facilities - an amazingly good shower. Swish bedroom with comfy bed. Quiet. High quality buffet breakfast.
