The St Michaels Manor Team are just incredible. We were celebrating our anniversary with them after we stayed with them for our wedding last year. The made it truly special and made us feel absolutely spoiled with the room upgrade, the lovely note left in our room, and the anniversary cake at dinner. I couldn't thank them enough for being part of our story x

Overall the stay was excellent, though at the price, and with 4 star rating I would have expected breakfast to include black pudding, and there was no marmalade on my table nor, it appeared, on the buffet, so I had to raid a nearby table. Nor were there salt or pepper, which would have been good with the scrambled egg. These are minor things, but I chose the hotel because of the parking and proximity to the Cathedral, and would definitely book with you again as both of these and everything else rated full marks. By the way the aircon was a bit noisy so I turned it off, although it was appreciated for keeping the room at an equable temperature on a hot day.
